Found on a weekend trip with the boys.TFTCCheers and Happy Hunting Southern Cross Caching
Found with uni and sxc on a drive to the Barossa, the Riverland and beyond... Thanks for the hide. Logged with [GCDroid / WheriDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid.sub).
A most enjoyable morning spent caching on the backroads north of Kapunda and south east of Riverton. Many thanks for the hide barnic
Found it! After completing the TdF series this morning with only 2 DNFs along the way, picked out a couple of caches to grab on the drive home. This was a quick find. TFTC!

Quick find on my way home from the midnorth. TFTC barnic. Just read Otter61's log, I agree with him.
We've had a fun afternoon with family in Hampden. Managed to squeeze in a little time to cache. Thanks Barnic for this one
Another lovely day to be caching the area. Found out and about with Symonds6 and Shandyk. Signed log as GuShS6. Grabbed the TBTFTC.
The eldest of the Famous IV grew up in Eudunda but doesn't get back that way too often these days. But today I had some business to attend to so took the time to look around, take a drive through some smaller localities, grab a sausage roll at the bakery (the rest of the main street looked very, very quiet with more shops closed than open) and grab a few caches. On the way back home stopped and got a few caches around Kapunda. TFTC.
Thanks barnic for the cache. Quickly found and signed, and back in play as found.
Out and about the picturesque Barossa Valley picking up a smilie or two along the way.
I’m sure the passing traffic were perplexed by the sight of me on the roadside! Waited till the coast was clear to strike.
Log signed and replaced as found.

Time for another Friday Frolic for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group. We gathered at the Rat Nest and myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats headed out for a day of caching in and around Kapunda. Except for one cache that is currently off line we managed to find all we looked for. As usual there were a few laughs, a picnic lunch and these are the caches we found [B)]
Being retired this was not on MY way to work but I stopped and found it anyway!
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks barnic for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Out for a day around Kapunda with Freddo and Featherwaite. We got hot from the sun, soaked from the rain and every type of weather in between.
A quick find.

Found during a day out caching in the Kapunda and wider area with Freddo and Team Waldron. We signed our names in full or abbreviated to F.F.TW in caches that none of us had previously found, and in full when one or the other (various combinations) had already claimed on a prior visit. A total of around 40 finds for each of us today, plus 5 for the local Lab cache to clear up a nice area on the map. Thanks for the cache barnic!
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I commenced our mega journey to the north! We had a final farewell breakfast with family in Burnside, and then started the drive, as a small amount of rain fell (Adelaide crying perhaps?). We took the route through Kapunda stopping at a few geocaches, and then had a rest in Eudunda whilst grabbing a cornish pasty. We then arrived at a friend's shack just outside of Morgan after lunch, and enjoyed an afternoon of Murray river knee-boarding and water skiing.
I thought this location was appropriate to have a geocache hidden, and we took the opportunity for the usual photo snap of Kapunda's welcome also! This geocache didn't take long to find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks barnic for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Well I have had more than enough of sitting inside and it looks like we are being encouraged to go out if we are sensible about it.
So a trip for a couple of hours out to Kadina seemed a good idea and a way to spend a few dollars in a country town given the covid site for SA states -
Travel within South Australia is a great way to support our regional communities and economies.
So the parrots did their bit today.
Lunch in a park and a walk around the mines then back home in time for tea.
Should have looked close at the first place I looked rather than checking out the GPS and wandering away from the cache.
Gave up on the GPS and went with the feeling and came up a winner

Ooh a new cache in a cool spot near Kapunda that I've been to before for geocaching
I had Brodie[:X] with me here before, now I have Rex with me[:X]
For an impromptu drive it was a great evening[^] with a FTF shared with Mattycat[^] and then 2 other finds on the way home
Had a short stop here to find this cache on our way home, after a nearby FTF shared with Mattycat[:X]
If only geocaching was work, I'd be happier

A forecast for extreme weather this afternoon - wind and rain and storms. Currently it's just windy and beautifully sunny. Found after getting dust in our eyes and whipped in the face by long hair! TFTC barnic.
Found I was in the car and I thought that’s where a cache could be so told everybody I found it but when I got there I could not see it found it in the end

A slight break in the downpour just as we arrived at go facilitated a quick find.

Hi there barnic.
We found your cache **"On the road to work"** at 11:24:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 22145).
As the weather wasn't looking too good we started the day off by nominating cache that was fairly close to our camp site. We took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS and cached between showers. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 5 caches today & DNF'd 1. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic travels around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Thanks to barnic and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
This was our last find for the day before driving back to Adelaide. 12 hours out driving and caching mainly collecting the Tour de France series so JJ52 could collect her next level on most caches found in a day.
This was a quick find and a nice town entrance. TFTC

As we headed to Kapunda for petrol on our way home after a mammoth day caching mainly for the Tour de France series we decided to stop here for "just one more"
A lot of our country towns now have these great welcoming structures all relevant to the area which I think is a great initiative.
Thanks for the cache barnic.
