Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. The weather was mostly fine. I got in some biking and walking, but too many dnf's for my liking. We cruised around Tauranga And we had another great day!

Easy find just before dark. Description was spot on!

Checked the obvious place and sure enough a Mcjandals style cache was hiding. Nice quick find.

Went to the obvious place but GZ was still 5 metres away. Moved over and looked but nothing obvious there so returned to the obvious spot and found it straight away.

Taking the day off from the bathroom renovations doing a few TMGT caches around Tauranga, and picking up a few trads on the way. No problem, Mr S spotted it straight away. Where do you get those things.

This was a clever little find. Got a little distracted by some other potential spots at first but the hubby had a hunch and it paid off. Cache was soon in hand. Simple but we loved it, so we marked it as a favourite. TFTC

I had to go to Tauranga today for an appointment off Cameron Road so it was good to get a couple of caches on the way tftc

Easy spot after work

Not having the best of caching days so far. As the description suggests, a grid filler and certainly helped bring my find rate above 50% for the day with a quick find. TFTC.

Quiet day in the office staring at a computer screen and needed to get out for a walk. Have not found a cache in a while so what better time than now.
This one was obvious at first however had me questioning myself when I looked ahead in the distance. New type of cache find for me. Thanks.

Back in Tga for a few days and driving back from lunch with Kathykaches she made me stop here and grab this one. Pulled up right next to it and spotted the hide. Cool cache. A lot of green in Tauranga that I still need to turn to smilies! Thanks for the cache

A last minute planned trip in the company of HKCB & Kiwis69 all in pursuit of those dang pixils. So leaving after 6.30pm and collecting bodies as we headed East with plenty of good natured banter and laughs, catching up about going ons as it felt like it had been quite some time since we had together done a night run like this.

This saw us arrive at this one being the eleventh of the evening.

A last minute trip to help HKCB complete the planetary challenge. I've been living in an alternate universe for at least a month (otherwise known as work overload) and, while I might yet regret the sleep deprivation, was really keen to join in the fun of a night caching trip with the others. As usual, lots of banter & a great time looking for tricky hides in the dark - nights like this remind me why I geocache! Surprisingly quiet tonight as we drive around town - not complaining, coz it makes searching so much easier. Nice quick grab here. Log signed HOAC to save on space. With time running out to gain enough points for the Planetary Pursuit Souvenirs and not much caching time available in the coming weekend the only time left was a Friday night blast to get the remaining points needed. So a call went out to see who would be keen to tag along and Cats&Dragons, and Kiwis69 heeded the call. So a 6pm departure from Hamilton meant we were caching in TGA a little after 7.30pm.

The night was filled with tricky hides and more than a fair share of DNF's, but we persevered and just after midnight got the last few points to hit that magical 500. A big thanks to all the puzzle makers and placers, for their caches.

Thanks for locating this wee cache here - it's one I've been saving for a dot day as it is close to where I work - so this morning as I was way too early after trying to beat the traffic, I headed over to sign this log. I had wandered through this area on the odd occasion and was confident where it would be - sure enough - a great hide. Tftc.

Have walked near this one with Mosh the dog for quite some time and never have a pen.

This time when I took Mosh out I remembered to bring a pen and so have finally been able to log a find. Nice camo and a great idea! TFTC

We came along this geocache on the way from our hotel to the tiny and cute Historic Village. Obviously, we first searched on the wrong spot, but then we found the EXTREME nice container and the logbook; tftc

With nerweed and his family... Table tennis training has brought us over to Tauranga. We arrived early to collect a few caches before the training venue opens.

It was very quiet in the area this morning. We parked and looked around the area before exiting the vehicle. Something looked askew just a touch... TFTC.

So many dot day caches but no dot days till end of the month and we don't get the chance to come down from Auckland much so was glad to pick up so many easy quick finds today. Thank you (:

I was trying to get the FTF on Macwatts Thick as a Brick cache but thanks to a couple planted right on gz I figured I sort this one out to pass some time. It's a conspiracy! I was going to leave this one alone for a dot day but was called on to drop off the family at Harvey Norman's for Christmas shopping. How could I be so close and not go and grab it? Well, it turns out I couldn't. Followed the GPS, fixating on a possible hide, when I realised I was down to 2m. One possibility didn't check out but the clever cache couldn't hide for long. TFTC.

This was published when we were out of town, then it was put to one side. We were out last night in the vicinity so went to get this. "Which is not the same?" Loved the simple but effective hide. Thanks McJandals for the cache.

Every time I go out of town a new cache pops up....and yes the same this time...I was passing by and all was quiet around GZ so stopped and had a look...ha ha ha clever placement and a novel container... thanks McJandals great we cache ....but could you wait for me to around next time lol
