Unfortunately the is cache is gone. I don’t live in the area anymore, too far to come to maintain.
This one may need a check. I got the meaning behind the hint but unfortunately no smiley face today.

Arrived nearby very early to meet friends before we headed off for a bushwalk. Since I had some time spare I thought a quick walk over to finally do this cache. No problems finding it. The logbook is in good shape but the plastic bag is long dead.
Put your hand up if you remember the level crossing that was here. It also was where Menangle Road terminated. Amazing how many inconsiderate people would block Menangle Rd whilst waiting at the crossing.
Where the HJ Daley library is were a couple of cricket pitches and just across the creek (the Campbelltown Mall car park) was a footy field. Many memories of playing footy there as a kid. There was a dodgy old wooden footbridge across Fishers Ghost Ck and that was about it. No Hurley St, no Koshigaya Park, and no library. The area is so different now.
TFTC,
Michael (GPS).

19,311. Found with minniek during a meander around the Campbelltown region.
Headed up the Hume for a kid-free weekend caching in Sydney. And as minniek says we even lashed out for a motel instead of camping - Luxury ! This was the next find of the day. A nice quick find once at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Blueandgolder !!

A nice weekend away with fitzy_1965 where we glamped (motel) rather than camped!
We cached around Campbelltown, Leumeah, Minto & Ingleburn before heading into our base at Ashfield then into Darling Harbour for dinner.
Quick find here today as the park was empty.

Tftc was a easish find, found the old cache in the tree years ago and that threw me
#6048 (2 of 6 today)
Was out early today - well maybe not that early by the time I got here - as I had quality time to spend with Geoson #3 this afternoon. So I was hoping I’d have time for 5 finds, or so. In the end, despite the dreaded DNF rearing its ugly head, I got six before needing to head home. Given I only had ten finds for the calendar day, I’ll take that.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I’ve made a find in this general area before. Parked in the same spot and immediately noticed two tents pitched close to where I was being pointed.
Didn’t see anyone and made a quick find.
Took it out of line of sight to complete signing duties. The back for a quick replace, and away. Must be too early in the morning for them.

O ut to dinner with Gundrills and thought we’d do a bit of caching afterwards. Found it! TFTC
Like everyone else, pretty obvious in the end. Also harder to do in the dark and rain

Had some time to spare between dinner and movies with geowife. A few caches makes for a great night. Was a bit tricky in the dark, rain and a big spider in his web almost ending up on Geowife. Glad to get this done .TFTC.
Second attempt - first a week ago abandoned when it began to rain heavily: I’m only a fair-weather geocacher! Found cache lying on grass under fence. SIGNed log and replaced it where I guess it should be. Tftc
Had a good idea where this one was so I parked at the nearby marketfair shopping center & walked towards the rail line & under the bridge for a quick find. TFTC.
Followed the arrow & hint to make a quick find. We have found a cache in a tree very nearby a few years ago, that doesn’t seem to be in play anymore. TFTC blueandgolder xo
With the coords in the park this could be on a quite extended part of the fence! I was lucky to find it quickly.

Decided to head out and do some caching maintenance, this my first stop. I can report it is still there where I placed it. Read the clue.
Spent quite a bit of time looking for it. Tried to follow hints and comments from other people. Used mirrors, got down low, checked everywhere.
Today I came down to Campbelltown for a walk around looking at the lovely old homes and parklands. I haven't been here for about 30 years and Wow its changed a lot!
Good to see so many historic buildings have been retained.
It was a pleasant walk on a lovely sunny spring morning. This was my last caching stop before heading back to the station. The co-ordinates were spot on and fortunately it was a T1.5 and I was able to grab the cache easily.
Signed the log and visited some TBs then headed towards the station. Luckily a bus came along and I was able to get there quicker and catch an earlier train.

Bit hesitant to go near the location because it looked like a hobo has a camp set up but we realised there was nobody there. Great spot. Tftc
Last of the day for us. Once we moved slightly away from where we originally thought the cache would be, we made the find soon after. TFTC,
After some lunch in Campbelltown, rassilon256 and I were keep to get the last few around Campbelltown that we had not found. This one was first on the list. We first looked in some obvious locations but then rassilon256 undertook a more thorough search of every potential location and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
A successful caching morning in Kentlyn earned llama_boy and I a good lunch. Of course a successful caching morning doesn't encourage a quiet afternoon and by the end of lunch we had decided to take on the last three Campbelltown caches he hadn't found.
This cache was first up post-food. On the approach I was reminded that I found a cache nearby a few years ago but, having no pen to sign, chose not to log it. Since its archived now, I guess I'll log it for historical accuracy in a minute. As for this cache, a methodical search got us there eventually. I was expecting a different container but glad that it was this kind. I was starting to think I might have missed it. Great to recognise a significant figure in recent history with a cache.

Bout the third time I’ve come out with the geo kids and didn’t find but we got low like some people have said an found a needle box so please be careful here
Finally found it. Really good hide. Once we read over and over the hint we discovered what it was referring to. May need to get your hands abit green and dirty
Honestly looked everywhere and couldn’t find anything, could someone possibly upload a picture of its exact location??? Just for future reference. Thanks
Geodog was getting restless and I was running out of light. GPS was jumping everywhere. So after looking for a while I decided to leave. But then....hate it when you suddenly realise it was so obvious.
I remember when this road used to go over the train tracks and there was the boom gates, before they put the over pass in. Great hide, more of a challenge then expected. TFTC:)
Have only ever been into the library once.
Took longer to find than anticipated.
Had green fingers in the end, feeling here & here & here & there.
TFTC B&G.
