Have been here on caching business many years ago, this was a fairly quick find, but did have to search through the cut grass which has been placed along the fence line. Took the TB which has been sitting in here for a while.
All good here. Memories of some very cold mornings here, frozen ground as youngest son played rugby at 8am.
Found on a nice drive in the area. Nearly at my target so slowly making my way home
Funny; I’ve driven past here several times now and wondered where the rugby grounds are. Today it was obvious so I stopped to get this. No other cars on the road here, so I took my time filling out the log and replacing on a beautiful day. Thanks for placing this.
Staying in motorhome at Tescmakers and have left our cat Coco to look after it. Today off exploring again and came to this cache. All good with cache thanks Bitsprayer.
On a trip down in the lower South Island with woolwood9.
We soon had the container found SL: **tm/ww NZ**
*Thanks for putting this cache out for us to visit*

On a road trip with NZ Bozzy , this is our last day as we head back south . Main reason was to grab the North Island TMTG caches and some oldies. And also to celebrate a birthday with a 0

Thanks small town to have a rugby ground. It must have been larger in the past. I also saw at another cache that a medical ship in the war was named after Maheno.
#17732. A quick find followed by a U-turn (a bit of caching business to attend to before finally making it to Maheno). TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ while driving around North Otago picking up as many Mighty Oaks and solved puzzles as possible. A good day out, despite the southerly wind blasting us at many locations. And we had to drive past lots of caches too! Many thanks to all the cache hiders in the area, we are very grateful for the time and effort you put into geocaching.
All quiet here during late afternoon and a quick find. TFTC.

The sky was a odd colour today because of the fires in Oz. A good hide.

A great day out with the girls caching and chatting all day. Found easily and off soon to gt some hot chips at Hamdon. TFTC Bitsprayer
I knew a Geotour was coming out soon and glad to see we have some local ones. MinionOne and I were going to head out for a roadtrip and decided to invite Eve07 to come out for some fun. We headed out mid morning with the intent of just getting the Moeraki Geotour caches but we ended up as you do following a trail of caches to the middle of nowhere. A cold but lovely day for it.
All good.
***[======== NZ Mega 2020 ========](http://nzmega.com)***
Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!
All good.

After going to town to pick up some stuff we took a short detour to pick up this cache. A quick find in the hint location. All good here. Signed the log and replaced as found.
A fairly quick find, although the hint object was almost invisible in the long grass. TFTC
Out on the back roads tidying up a few out of the way caches finally made it to this one nearly a year after assisting kjr with ftf nice quick find tftc
How long does a battery work on a smart Phone? How much data gets chewed up when geocaching. Newly armed with a smart phone as well as my Garmin I set out for the day to find out some of the limits of using a phone for geocaching. This was the first find for today.
A quick find with Tuitigger and searchwisely on our way back to Dunedin. Thanks for the hide.
#3025 Quick p and g. Was easily spotted so have tucked under a little further. Thanks for the cache.
A quick and easy find. Driving up I thought there must be a match on, but they were hay bales, not cars! Made me laugh, therefore FP. Thanks
Queens Birthday weekend. Lets celebrate with some time in Dunedin. Today we travelled south.
Thanks to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches. Cheers.

A quick park and grab while on my way to oamaru to get as many caches I can for points for the planatery Pursuit challenge. TFTC
Just enough time to grab a handful of quick caches on a run to Oamaru to trailer the motorbike to the dealer for some recall work. Nice quick find. I recall doing a cache in the grandstand here some time ago.
Co-ords spot on for us and placed exactly as hint suggests. No need to go near the new building as previous cacher suggests. Found with AorakiSheep
Out before most this morning, really enjoyabele jaunt through the countryside to the mighty Maheno grounds.
Thanks

This one wasn't in the GPS as I hadn't updated the pocket query because I was so behind with my logs and it only confuses what has been found and what hasn't. But I did notice the notification come through so used the phone for this one. A nice quick bonus find on my way through. TFTC # 11,720
I grew up in Maheno, and returned today to show my kids around the area. I learnt to drive at this rugby domain, back in the mid 90's. I also spent many Saturdays down here with all the local kids, buying chips and bottles of fizz and playing under the grandstand to fill in the time while the adults watched games of rugby. Many thanks for bringing me back here, a favourite point just for the memories
FTF @ 2013
Up in Oamaru on a mission to get to 2000 finds. I accomplished that goal today and was heading home via some back roads when I got an FTF alert from a friend (Thanks BCD). Was only 8km away too! What a lovely bonus to my caching trip TFTC Bitsprayer
