This one has gone missing once again and with the changes in the area, now being very open I don't think it is worthwhile replacing it, so archive it is.

24-Sep-22
This one seems to be missing,
The area has changed so much since the cache was placed

13-Aug-22

Back in Victoria after a sunny Queensland trip and thought I’d go for a bayside drive to cheer me up from wearing a thermal top vest and jumper after a fortnight of circa thirty degrees..

Looked up this quick DIDO drive in drive out cache a term I learnt in cairns, as previously here I’d known them as park and grabs. The Cache was found on the ground and I returned a little higher up.

Back to the warmth.. of my car

Thanks for the cache

The clue is on the inside of the log sheet.anyine watched the show pointless

25-Jul-22
The day was starting to deteriorate - the blue skies had disappeared. At GZ we searched a couple of spots and then discovered the container on the ground partly exposed. After signed the log we replaced in a more hidden position and notified the CO. Thanks to SteMicMitSar for the cache.

Found by Omegaman1971

Out caching with Rebel Acts and hopefully the rain holds off so we can put some smiles on the map.

This is an area I know well, I spent my first 20 years of life living in keysborough and Noble park. It has certainly changed over the years.

This is one of the caches we found today/tonight, cheers and thank you for the fun.

Found by Rebel Acts

Out and about once again with Omegaman1971 for our regular weekend catch up and cache, to day we headed to an area where we both still had plenty to find and a few solved puzzles I was keen to pick up.

This is one of the caches found today.

Thanks SteMicMitSar for the cache.

With light rain falling and me starting to get wet I was searching where I should’ve been but just not quite how I needed to. Ready to give up I thought I’ll just check here and lo and behold this one was ready waiting for me.

11-Feb-22
TFTC! Thought this would be quicker to find than it was… luckily there were no muggles around.

30-Jan-22
A quick grab while passing through. Did take me longer than probably needed. GPS coordinates were almost spot on. Tftc

04-Oct-21
I found it, but not sure it was meant to be on the ground. Don’t get me wrong, it was hard to find, but just didn’t seem right. Anyway I’ve hidden it more in a geocache style. Message me if you need to know where it is (to the owner)

03-Oct-21
No luck today...

This one has been on my list for a while, lucky for me it is within the 5kms allowable distance of the latest lockdown.
There were a few muggles and I had to wait till they had gone. Cache was eventually found, log signed, all in good condition, grabbed my clue to add to the rest. Thanks for the cache.

23-May-21
Well I’m happy to say this is now a smiley.
My last visit was a few years ago and I saw it’s been found a few times recently and decided to make the trek to tick this one off.
I was happy to say it was a reasonably quick find.
The cache, container and log is in excellent condition.
I visited 5 TB.
TFTC.

Sorry for the late log, found this one on the 13/4 with geoson. Took about 20 minutes of searching the area, luckily no muggles about, which was surprising given it was school holidays. Clue noted and TFTC, clever hide!

08-Jun-20
Have found this one a few times now but keep forgetting to log it. Found the camo but unfortunately the cache itself is missing. Very nice cache though Smile

08-Apr-20
Seeing that this isn't one of the four things you are allowed to do at the moment, I will disable until further notice

01-Mar-20
Found it for once very well hidden

05-Feb-20
Finally found it! We have been here 5 times looking for this one. A cryptic clue and a well camouflaged case.

23-Jan-20
Very sneaky sneaky got a hint from another guy walking past randomly asking if we were geocaching. Smile

08-Jan-20
Four adults and three children. Still could not find. Will try again.

01-Jan-20
Out on this beautiful new years day to do some caching after a bit of a break. Searched for quite some time here but finally found the sneaky hide! Tough to extract the log but got there with some help from a stick. Noted the clue, TFTC!

21-Dec-19
This was a relatively quick find after completing 10-15 laps of GZ.
EB99 found this well crafted and camoed cache.
Thanks Steve for the fun

14-Dec-19
It was fun to find a few caches in this area before heading to a family gathering this afternoon. This is the second in this series I've found, and both times completely forgot to take note of the clue (Argh!). Anyway, I wandered around this location for a few minutes, assessing likely hiding spots, rather conscious of the muggle sitting on a park bench about 50m away. I had a few ideas of how this one might be hidden, and one of them wasn't too far off, but even so it took about 10 mins I guess for me to spot this one. Very nice construction! Happy to have the smiley here. TFTC.

03-Nov-19
Unfortunately did not find it. Searched everywhere. Will hopefully try again soon.

Dont know why I did not see it in first place so today I come back. It's excellent hide. fav from me. Found your cache today. SteMicMitSar, thank you so much for placing it.

10-Sep-19
Been searched for 20mins and almost gave up but my gut wasn’t giving up so had one more chance to find this. Found it. Very sneaky hide!!! Good one. Thanks SteMicMitSar for placing this cache

Find 2227
Spent a fair time searching for this one and tried a fairly large area. Geo wife finally managed to locate the very well camp hide. She is good at detail as I walked over this area a number of times. Log signed and all back safe again.
Very sneaky in this environment.
Thanks SteMicMitsar

04-Aug-19
Out and about for the Mystery at the Museum looking for caches to unlock the vault to return the jewels
Took geo son with me so we’d have more eyes to look for this one. It has been frustrating me for some time now after several attempts here.
Geo son spotted something and told me to look and low and behold there it was. Finally!
A very sneaky clever hide. Can’t believe I’ve been walking around it every time I came here.
Its done now, turned that frown into a smiley .
Thank you for the fun here SteMicMitSar.
This hard earned one is worthy of a favourite point from me.

20-Jul-19
Ran past this one today for another search. Round and round I went, before a certain angle of something I'd dismissed earlier gave me a glimpse of the cache.

Great Camo! TFTC!

20-Jul-19
A quick poke around and the cache was soon in hand. Nice camo. TFTC

06-Jul-19
Dang that was sneaky! I had to use all my skill to find it. But turned the frown upside down.

05-Jul-19
Back in place
All good to go and be found

18-Apr-19
After a couple of DNF’s I went and checked It out, it turned out that the cache was still there to be found but the area looks like it’s going to get a top up of mulch so I took the cache away and I will check it out in a couple of weeks.

18-Apr-19
Had a quick search while out on an afternoon run. Wasn't able to spot it and didn't have time to hang around too long.

While try another day!

13-Apr-19
DNF for me...
Another day I think.

21-Mar-19
I was in the area on a job, and decided to get this cache. Getting paid to Geocache, oh yeah!! I'm not usually up for these tricking ones, and I don't check the page before looking as I'm lazy. After not finding it instantly I read some logs, hmmm it seems harder then the usual urbanite cache. After a bit more of a poke around and VERY accurate coords, I spotted something that looked good. Checked it over and nope! But then there was another and, YEP!!

Very nice, added to my good finds list.

24-Feb-19
Nice quick and easy find for us here today. Have to like that after a couple of DNF's. Thanks for the cache.

I remember being here before. Did I dnf or was it the V1? Cant remember now.
Anyhoo, always nice to make a find after a couple of dnfs.
Cheers SteMicMitSar

Searching for awhile then the local council trucks vans etc arrived plus 6 workers so left it to them

31-Jan-19
As we are new to all this, we could not find this cache. Spent an hour looking but we lack experience. Lovely park though. We will come back to look again sometime determined not to be beaten.

09-Jan-19
Well concealed

09-Jan-19
Took a bit of help from an experienced cacher to find our first one but it was found.

30-Dec-18
Spent 30 mins no luck

**Find #3253**
**Traditional Cache Find #2222**

I was on my way home after attending an event and finding an Earth Cache when I decided to stop off and attempt this cache. My mind wasn't on the job and I looked at what I felt were the most likely places for a micro without success. I then resorted to the hint. More searching and then suddenly my brain clicked into gear and the hide was found. Big Grin

SL TFTC

**Thank-you to SteMicMitSar for placing this geocache**

Beautiful day @ the GZ again. Much happier today - brought my eagle eyes & a GPS ! Got me close enough & then i spotted something interesting. Clever hide SteMicMitSar. Enjoyed both my visits here. TFTC

30-Sep-18
Luckily we brought our best eyes to this one.
It's one where you could spend a lot of time looking due a great camo job.
Thanks SteMicMitSar.
Chiefton!!!

23-Sep-18
Looping around to return home I decided to stop in and take a look. A nice quiet deserted park meant an uninterrupted search, and I soon happened across this neatly hidden little container. It definitely is a nicely put together hide.

Thanks to SteMicMitSar for placing this cache.

22-Sep-18
Gave it a good look over, but sadly escaped me today.
Thanks for bringing me here though, nice quiet spot on a beautiful day - a great relief from a fairly stressful week.

15-Sep-18
Played loop the loop under the wet foliage today. Red Face
Spotted a family of Rosellas up a nearby tree. Cool
Listened to their bird song for a while before zeroing in on the cache. Smile
Took a golf ball; left the abandoned birds nest. Wink
Thanks for the cache SteMicMitSar.
Nicely played. [^]

28-Aug-18
The work has finally been completed so the cache is back in place and ready to be found

11-Aug-18
Went passed again today as the cache repairs were finished a long time ago and is ready to go back but nothing seems to be done yet, still big piles of mulch scattered around the park ready to be spread out, but when, who would know

25-Jun-18
I have taken this one away at the moment as there is some remulching works going on plus some repairs.
It will be up and running once the works are finished

03-Jun-18
Went for this one today and without giving anything away it is all good now. It had fallen out when I found it.

03-Jun-18
Had a look here after finding the mazza_g cache just up the road a bit.
I'd like to blame the satellites or muggles or fading daylight but the truth is that I simply did not find it. Sad

21-May-18
**Find #: 5901**
**Time: 2:08 pm**
**Date: Mon 21 May 2018**
Didn't take me too long to find, and the unusual thing about this one for me was, I've already found the final, some years ago, so didn't need the clue.
This is the 12th one I've found in this 8 cache series.
**Thanks for placing this cache SteMicMitSar**

When I pulled up there was a mother and child enjoying the day in the park. So before I approached, I checked the satellite image only to find it would bring me too close to them. So I quickly scanned the phone for other nearby caches to attempt. Having found another cache to find, I turning the key and the engine groaned but did not start. In fact the engine would not even turning over. Typical loan car.
Now that I'm stuck I did the what any normal person would do, concentrate on the cache. So with time up my sleeve now, I sat and read some of the past logs to see if there were any clues to what I should be looking for. Not a lot to be extracted from these so its back to blind searching. Fortunately the park was now deserted so I could go for broke. In the end I don't know why I was concerned as the cache basically jumped into my hand. Camouflage was great but not good enough today for these prying eyes. TCLNSL. TFTC. Kkams.

PS. Thankfully I had parked on a slight hill and the car was really small. With a bit of a push and a pop of the clutch, the engine hummed into life and I was away once again.

01-May-18
Had to check a few spots then made the find. Thanks to SteMicMitSar for placing this cache.

21 Apr 2018, Found @9:02 pm, Find # 1475

Needing a cache to fill a spot on the calendar I messaged mazza-g who agreed to go on a night time hunt. Having previously found this one she stood back and watched while I searched. With a number of minutes going by and no cache she stepped in to advise me of where she had last seen it. I searched the obvious areas still coming up empty handed. I decided to get down a bit lower and explore a little further away. Sometime caught my eye and eureka there it was.

Thanks to SteMicMitSar for placing this cache

09-Apr-18
Out and about tonight trying to push myself to reach my 1700th find after a busy day at uni today. So after driving around waterways for an hour hunting some rare pokemon on pokemon go. Sadly none of the desired ones I wanted were found but lucky for me it was my time to find some treasures in my other location based hobby.

After finding the previous cache with the assistance of Stemicmitsar, he suggested that he take me to his nearby cache that he replaced yesterday. After abit of poking around t he cache was soon found and signed, but the co would know that wouldnt he haha

08-Apr-18
Back in place again so we will see how long it lasts this time

18-Mar-18
Stopped by today and this one doesn't seem to be there at the moment

17-Feb-18
Ah our 2nd dnf for the day... geowife and i got distracted by the swing. Great fun!

04-Feb-18
I'd popped down a while ago to find the previous version of this cache with no luck. Presumably that had more to do with the cache having been muggled and a little less to do with the GPSr sending me out onto the grass repeatedly.
After chatting to the CO at a recent event I was informed that V2 had been put into the field. I popped down today for my daily fix and found it in the first place I looked. Who knows, one day I may even complete the series Smile

21-Jan-18
Found after attending my grandsons 1st birthday party. I needed the walk and need to increase my daily steps so this was a place to have a walk to. Found the first version of this cache a few years back so found myself heading to the same place. Wrong, oh well, then headed in the right direction and soon found. This is a far better hide than the first version. Fav from me. TFTC

20-Jan-18
Found on 20 Jan 2018 at 6:42 pm.
I had been really lazy all morning so this afternoon I headed out for a drive around to find a few caches in my 15km zone.

I have already completed this series a few years ago but was in the area so stopped by to a luckily deserted park and made my way in. Spotted something a little suspicious once at GZ and it was the cache. Didn't need the clue so I continued on my way... good to see you had the bike out again on the 4WD WhereIgo. Smile I must do it soon.
Thanks SteMicMitSar for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

17-Jan-18
Apologies for the late log. My family were away in New Zealand so I planned a few caching excursions and I’m still catching up on logs. This was just a short stop off on my commute home from work so too good to pass by. I had found the series (and of course V1 of this cache) some time ago but it's always good when a new one pops up in the area. Nice and quiet here on a hot day and I was able to make the find without too much trouble. My caching fix for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache SteMicMitSar.

13-Jan-18
Had a go at the old version of this cache a while back but was unsuccessful. So I was very pleased to see this one repositioned. Found after a quick search with the gps bouncing around like I remember from last time I was here. Signed and returned while the park was empty between showers of rain, and very nice to get my name so early on the log. Cheers!

12.45 joint FTF with 999hunter. I got the notification and asked if mark wanted to go but he was too bussy with his mates on the play station so I went alone arriving on site I saw a guy at gz holding a phone so headed straight there. It was 999hunter. Joining in the search and trying to be inconspicuous to a guy practicing tight rope walking nearby then reading the description again it was about 10 minutes later and the cache was signed in first place nice hide and nice to meet and cacher. Thanks SteMicMitSar for the cache and for bringing us here. I guess I need to complete the rest of the series now

12-Jan-18
This cache got released at a perfect time for me. Working in Frankston and just about to go to lunch when the notification came thru. Jumped in the car and a short drive later was onsite. There was a teenage female on the swings and a male tight rope walker who both seemed to not notice me, so went towards the GZ. Had just circled the area when another obvious cache arrived looking at a garden bed and his phone. Nice to meet you 4Bait.
We had a chat while searching the area and soon 4bait said the words that all cachers love "Found it". Signed the log and finished our chat about the Waterways Yak series. Might see you on the water soon 4Bait.
Thanks for the cache SteMicMitSar
