Jack and I had a good look around for this one, but after checking previous logs (and the handy photo by cappa7), I think this one may have disappeared.
In the area again and planning a re-visit to rectify our previous Did Not Find but sadly there has been no other more recent visits since our last time here or any update from the Cache Owner.
Did Not Find.
We quickly found Ground Zero and looked and walked around it without luck. Believe we then found the precise hiding spot where it should have been thanks to a photo submitted with a previous log. As such, we are very confident that the cache is gone.
We also endured stares from the muggles living opposite and the noise from their barking dog. A lovely spot, but being so open, it is a difficult spot to avoid muggle attention.

8/2/20 Find #3482
Having been on a cleanup mission this morning up this way helping mates, it was time to head off, but I had a need for a traditional cache before the day was out. So Fangsoki and I headed across here, with another cache in mind. However I hadn’t had enough service to notice all the DNFs and when the search was fruitless, Fangsoki looked at the logs and saw what I had missed.
A short drive later and we were pulling up here. Phone gps signal played around with me here pointing me hmmm 15 metres into the water?! I don’t think so.
Soon it began to settle and Fangsoki suggested a spot which I headed to look at.. and found nothing. Maybe because my mind kept telling me to expect it in “those” over there.
Well Fangsoki wandered straight over to where he said and pulled it out, asking me about my seeing eye dog as he did. Oooops.
Log signed it was time to disappear and grab some lunch.
Thanks for the cache johnwillem.

1MinnieMoo had been out helping friends in the yard in the general-ish vicinity - when we decided to grab a cache.
We parked up and followed our GPSr's. 1MinnieMoo checked an area I suggested. Nothing. She moved on. My smartphone was pretty adamant we were close - maybe I should checked the area. Suddenly - a cache
We signed the log and I grabbed the trackable. A nice little place to visit. TFTC johnwillem

Lovely spot for a bbq. Will have to come back another day with supplies. Dropped off a TB.
Up here from Melbourne staying at family’s block of land in Toorbul in our caravan.
The rest of the OSHFAM clan decide to stay back opting to play a little backyard cricket instead whilst I go out on my own.
I pull up to this one and use my car as cover from the overlooking houses. Luckily no muggles about making for a quick find, retrieval and return. I add a little trinket of my own to the small collection already in there.
The logbook didn’t have any protection so I gave it some covering with a plastic bag.
Cache in good condition and logbook still has lots of blank pages. Great little hiding spot.
I too found a nice cool breeze blowing here like the others have mentioned.
Thank you for the cache here johnwillem

Continuing on towards toorbul we were happy to get out to this one and feel the cooler breeze on what has been a hot day. A quick search and we had this one in our hands. TFTC johnwillem
Had to use some teamwork here to outwit the muggles at the nearby picnic table. They had obviously set up for the long haul as they had a webber with them.
Mr Beetle phoned his imaginary friend and stood between them and me and I sat on the bark [not very comfortable] and dealt with the cache.
Hate it when you immediately spot the hide but take forever to deal with it.
But thanks for the smiley.

Heading Home today and grabbing a few caches on the drive back to the airport. With time to spare we decide a detour to Toorbul was in order. Another quick find in this quiet little town. Tftc
A day trip to Toorbul saw me hunting for the caches in the area.
I am not a fan of having to search so close to houses where there may be muggles watching from behind curtains
I bit the bullet and quickly zeroed in on the cache and quickly signed the log.

A fine Autumn day for a drive around with Tassie Trekkers and whitewebs.
Not that many muggles around here today and many good safe hides.
Nice picnic areas around here too.

We're having a little holiday in the area so thought we'd grab a cache or two while here.
This was the first on our agenda and am pleased to say it was found easily enough. After signing log we returned cache ready for the next finder.
Didn't see any wildlife but
we decided it would be a great place for a Barbie by the waters edge.

Wow - Mrs FNG has allowed me the day off to go get some caches (apparently I get grumpy if I don't get one or two from time to time.) Setting out at about 7am, with about 13 caches in mind for the day.
This is cache 4 for the day (cache 2 was a multi I got the info for, but could not find).
Easy drive in this morning, and parked real close. Walked over and found it, but went back to the car as it needed a little maintenance. Fortunately I was carrying around the cache kit in the car!
Anyway, cache is in good condition, but bag was busted. Replaced this, and signed the log.
Looked up and watched the kangaroos nearby. Family of three. Very nice to see.
Thanks for the cache!

Having a few hours free we decided to head a little north & pick up some smilies.
Another nice quick find under the watching eyes of a friendly magpie.
This time it was Mrs VC who made the find.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
All good here.

# 2015 - A few spare hours after Christmas and a visit from gcraider. What would you do other than go find a few caches? It was a hot afternoon, but the breeze made it bareable.
Gcraider is on a roll. Found this one too. What's the matter with me??? The heat must have slowed me down too much. An such an easy find at that!
Anyway TFTC johnwillem

Easy find whilst walking the foreshore. No writing implement on me at the time so photo sent to cache owner.
We decided on taking the walk down to this cache instead of driving. We took the time to admire some of the local architecture and before too long Mrs Woodyrothwell had her phone out, looking up real estate agents. Hey, we could buy one of these run down joints and do it up? When I said that I wasn’t going to be involved in any reno, nor provide the money to buy a place, that pipe dream was quickly quashed. It all looks good on TV but the reality is it sucks balls.
Mrs Woodyrothwell also made the larger than expected find and she voiced the scorecard to all and sundry. Yes she was in front 3-1-0 but we all had a chance except my son who was going busted.
On our trot back to the car the skies really opened up. We were getting wet and my wife wanted to duck into a shelter for respite. I said you are already wet, what’s the problem in getting wetter which is an old bedroom tactic of mine. My wife and son started running back to the car like the fitness freaks they are. The joke is on them because I had the keys in my pocket. tftc

I don't think we've found a cache hidden in one of these before, which makes a change. A nicely hidden cache.
Found with Quesera on a lovely day of caching in this beautiful spot, thanks for placing this cache here

Nurseyjulie and I have got together today to collect a milestone for her [^] After that was all sorted we headed further north to Toorbul to grab the new caches here that were placed for the CO's event back in January.
We were just out of sight of a group at a nearby table, and Nj made the find here. TFTC, johnwillem.

Driving along the esplanade enjoying the views of the Pumicestone Passage, we found this nice picnic area but as we had found lunch yet, we did not avail ourselves of the facilities at this point.
JW had noticed the interesting tree with a strangler on the palm and moved on. Looking elsewhere, I returned having a better look and sure enough there was the cache well hidden with some natural camouflage. Luckily the hide is facing away from muggle houses, so we could sign and swap mostly unseen.
Took little girl figurine, left plait dangle thing.

Selva Girls and I pulled in close to gz and it took us only a short time to catch a snag while some nearby muggles were busy with their fishing rods and grandchildren. Tftc johnwillem

It's been over five weeks since we came back from a two week caching holiday in New Zealand, so we thought it was about time we got out and found some local caches and dropped off some of the trackables we found in NZ. As we jumped back in the car from our previous find we yelled out to our new caching buddies, you guys lead the way and we’ll follow. When we saw them pull over we knew we must have reached GZ.
If we had bothered to read the attributes before we came out here (sorry johnwillem) we would of brought our bikes, its an awesome path with a great view along here! We pulled over just behind our leaders and luckily for us no one was around except but us. Dick made light work here making the find and we all were able to pile back in the cars for the next find…
