Found this one while using the axe marks in the log for cover as the muggles drove past!! TFTC!!
TFTC. We are camped at Kyogle Showgrounds with our motorhome group for a birthday get together. We spotted this series along Collins Creek Road. With a couple of hours to spare this morning we headed out to explore this area. My first job in Melbourne was on Collins Street and we know the CO as well so it seemed appropriate to do this small series. We did not have any issues finding the caches although a couple of logs had got a bit wet.
Heading out to Kyogle today, as we are travelling this way with the caravan, and luckilymwe did, as there was not always enough room to get off the road.

GPS on my phone bounced around on this one a little but did locate it after looking on the right angle! TFTC.
For the month prior to my visit to Australia, I spent some time trying to solve some mystery caches around the Brisbane area. At one point I had to contact RoddyC for a question one one of his caches. We got chatting and he kindly invited me to join him on a maintenance run which we did today. This led to my most productive day caching so far.
We couldn't find this so we replaced it. Nice to see how people in such remote places. Tftc and UTV

On our way north we took this road and tackled the caches along it.
We had a pretty good search here, probably spending almost 30mins looking but no cache.
If it's still here then we'll have to look again next time.

Out today, trying to obtain all these clues for the ‘summer’ promo....
I’m now trying to gain all the last 35 caches, which is harder due to the distance I have cleared.
That took me longer than it should.... the right angle helps.
Cheers

What a nice hall! I haven't been out this far on Collins Creek Road before. There were a couple of muggles in the hall - looked like they were setting up for a small function. That didn't bother me though, as the cache was far enough away that i could have a good search, Found it after a few minutes. Another great cache, RoddyC!
Checked out our Northern NSW placements over this weekend. Happy to say most were in very good order - thank you fellow geocachers!
Out today on a weekend caching run in the area with RoddyC, Hatzofff & Snickersallan. Stopped here to find this cache. SL then returned as found. Lovely scenery.

Thanks for this one wonder how many romances were made and broken here at the hall. Tftc
We decided to make a day trip to Kyogle to try to achieve the “In September, you might be an Adrenaline Junkie if…” souvenir. This cache took longer than it should have. Approaching from a different direction, a quick find was made. TFTC
Out and about collecting some caches to complete the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs.
These were close enough to walk (if you call a 21km round trip close) to from where we were staying. A different experience to driving the roads.
TFTC RoddyC
Find 5929 logged from c:geo.

A few days around Kyogle district looking for caches. Always enjoy doing caches in the countryside compared to suburbia. Doing the caches along Collins Roads and nearby was most enjoyable bring us (that being cachers) to roads we would probably not decide to travel along. Thank you for placing these caches. TFTC Mr and Mrs RoddyC
Having a caching day along the roads just north of Kyogle - the cache placements certainly took us along roads less travelled and some amazing views were discovered.
Nothing happening at the hall today and we don't have time to relax on the verandah. Thanks.

I am still on my way home from the OZ Geomuster Mega event held at Morisset over the Easter week-end.
I arrived in Kyogle mid morning after staying the night about 30km and started finding all of these new caches up in the hills. I ended up finding them all, which makes for a good day. [^] The Lancer did good.
A short search before I found this one nicely tucked away. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

Stopped for morning tea/lunch at the hall.
Great spot to have a break. Lounge chairs and a nice verandah with reading material.
Went down and made the find while the kettle boiled.
Thanks

With the rising temperature we decided to base ourselves at the Casino RV Base (which is quite similar to where to live). This is a great base and we headed to town and out Kyogle way today. Lovely scenery and we do like the roads less travelled. This was one of the caches we targeted and found. Nicely done. Thankyou RoddyC for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area

Trundling our way down the road from the previous cache, I spotted a sign announcing the Australia Day celebrations to be held today in the community hall. Hoping the heaving crowds wouldn't muggle us out of a find here we were rather more pleased than the organisers probably would to see the small crowd in attendance. A small camp fire was burning, providing just enough smoke to hopefully obscure the patrons relaxing on the verandah from spotting our shenanigans here. Another hunt that took way longer than it should. We a find finally signed into the log, we emerged from the trees in some humorous poses to hopefully give anyone looking our way fodder for conversation. TFTC
We collectively made a bit of a meal of this one, and acutely aware of our audience on the veranda of the community hall, we were trying to look as innocent as possible. I'm very sure we didn't succeed, especially taking into account CrookedPete and Seff's eventual emergence from GZ. TFTC
After an Australia Day event at Sheepstation Creek this morning with JeznDez and SeffnJarah, we completed a loop collecting these new caches. It appeared there was indeed an Aussie Day function nearby, so we were grateful of the cover to find this one. No doubt those patrons on the verandah of the hall were wondering why Seff emerged from the bushes the way he did.
Many thanks RoddyC

**FTF** at 9.10am. This series of caches was published while I was on my way to the Border Ranges. I still needed to set up camp, so did not even consider going for FTF. The next morning, after breakfast, I had a tiny bit of internet coverage, so decided to check on these caches. It seemed that the locals were sleeping in, so I decided to make my way to the closest ones.
I found a spot to park the geomobile and then made my way to GZ. My phone couldnt decide where I should be looking, so I systematically began searching the obvious spots. The cache was soon located and another blank log signed. TFTC
