Caching with team SPBINZ, Sidewaze, Paddle chick, bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie. After a great day yesterday putting (almost) all of the bunches of grapes in the "Barossa" series back how they were we're planning a much more varied day today and having a good look around. Yes, it does have that effect doesn't it! Thanks for another great cache and greetings from Aotearoa / New Zealand.

Another of these entertaining caches but as I can't sing, I didn't. in case I disturbed the magpies and crows. All good thanks to OZGrumpy and Doineedthis coloured mint tin by the sea. TFTC Freddo.
Found it
The call came in yesterday from OZGrumpy if I wanted to join on a day caching in the Barossa.
Okay, okay, I see what's happening here
You're face to face with greatness, and it's strange
You don't even know how you feel
It's adorable
Well, it's nice to see that humans never change
Open your eyes, let's begin
Yes, it's really me, it's Maui
Breathe it in
I know it's a lot
The hair, the bod
When you're staring at a demi-god
What can I say except, "You're welcome"
For the tides, the sun, the sky
Hey, it's okay, it's okay
You're welcome
Stamped as The Brown Family aka “the coloured mint tin by the sea people”

Southern Cross Caching
Found by Mary and David at 16:30. A major milestone here for us today, which we always like to coincide with a hide by a cacher we know and admire. Dear Freddo - you have been a friend from the early days of our caching journey. We also celebrated our 4000 milestone on your "The End of the Matter" cache. Poor locked-down Victorians for so long could only travel 5km from home, so our only available unfound cache was the dreaded "Eagle Rock - Daddy Cool" (no finds, and 296 DNFs and counting). Had thought about making this milestone at the Event next Sunday, but just couldn't wait that long. Log book was full, so we shouted you a new one. Our thanks to Freddo.
My first thought when I read the cache name was the theme song from the TV show “Banana Splits”. But on reading further, and seeing the sign, I’ve heard it and I can’t unhear it. Stayed with me for hours, thanks Freddo.
Parked on an ant nest and we sang Tanunda Tanunda while dodging them.
Enjoying a day in the Barossa with Wollaston and Liz&Bruce.
Thanks to the many hands and minds taking time to set out hides and showing us your part of the world

Doing some caching around the Nuriootpa area with ilook4geo for a little while. Each found log had two more names noted on it before the cache was put back where it had been found. Thank you to Freddo the Chocolate Frog for putting this cache into play.
Had a good day caching along with goingplaces2. Nuriootpa has a lot of choice and we can only do a small selection this time. Each cache was located, each log was signed and replaced as it had been found. Job done. TFTC.
Out for a days caching around the Barossa.
Cleaned out a few areas and only had 3 dnfs.
Another Freddo cache found.

I was heading up to Nuriootpa with erine14, alysse14 and allister w to attend a birthday event and as we were going so far we made it a full on caching day. I had looked at the map and had a few target caches that I would like to get, but other than that we just drove around stopping at caches we drove past. [^] We did manage to visit quite a few of the local cemeteries on our travels which is always interesting.
We had a fun day finding 33 caches and attending a very enjoyable event.
Another quick stop here, lucky Allister is taller that us 3 girls as he was able to grab the cache easily.
Thanks for the cache Freddo.

Had a nice day out with JJ52, allisterw, and erine14. We set out in the morning form down south, found some caches in the morning, attended the excellent 10th Geostuff birthday event in Nuriootpa, and then found some more caches! 34 finds in total, including my 2200th!

Only one of the three set at the start of the year was now possible and should be complete by Christmas. [^] So pressure off and back to caching when and where the whimsy takes me whilst I ponder some targets for next year. Today was another Wednesday Wander for four members of Befuddled puzzle solving group and we were headed back to the Barossa for some unfinished hiking.
That done it was time to cruise around and grab a few unfound caches. [^]
Sing De Ja De Ja De Ja Vu. I couldn't understand why this was so familiar. Something about diamonds on the soles of my shoes me thinks! Cache quickly located.
***Thanks Freddo for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Day 438 ( Monday 9th) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Greenock today. Out this afternoon to get a few around town. TFTC
Today I had a early start to get to Clare for the Breakfast Club. It was pretty nippy when I arrived in Clare at 7.59am. The breakfast cafe served up a tremendous veggie brekkie that I thoroughly enjoyed which set me up perfectly for a big day of caching. My goal was to collect 50 caches/labs for the day. Sadly a few dnfs and arriving at Nuriootpa too late for the labs meant I had to make do with 43 finds. I also set myself a challenge of 10 multis for the day which due to the number of abandoned churches was easily achieved and enjoyed finding nicely hidden caches with check sums!
Great day out, loads of walking and nice caches found. Thanks to all the CO for contributing to me being in my happy place all day.
Last finder had put the log back in the wrong way couldn’t get the book out so had to go back to the car for a tool. Then it was nice and quick. #500 definitely accomplished today. TFTC Freddo
