It needs maintenance because we found exposed log book but no cover could definitely be worth a trip to check on
This geo cache is definitely not here if the placers see this maybe just go check on it
I think we found where this cache would normally hide, but there was no cache to be found.
I’m not sure this one is here. We got to within 1m according to our data but no luck.
On the first real wet day in months i knew i wasnt up for a cache that would take a long time to find so when this one popped up on the map it was perfect for today.
I was the only person at the oval when i arrived and thanks to the good coords i made a quick find while the rain was coming down.
Thanks.

Nice bike ride to the scout hall. Eventually found it after 5 min search. Great hiding spot. The logbook is a little damp. Thanks for creating
Seen this many times, but couldn’t log it until today. Log strip damp, but cache seems watertight. Thanks!
This is the first geocache I have found in Australia with my young nephew Max! TFTC.
OCW morty8888. Been here a couple of times before, however, on re-reading the logs it may not have been there. TFTC
OCW Oldmorty on Nthn Beaches and this seems easier than what it used to be according to Oldmorty. Quick find and sign. TFTC!
After noticing that the CO had replaced this since my dnf, I ventured out this evening for what I’d hoped would be a quick find to keep my streak going.
Whilst it took me some time in the dark, it was fairly quickly that I spied the thing out of place.
Signed and replaced.

It went missing again, so I replaced it. I'll be looking for a new spot for the cache in case this happens again.
Found this while getting some air in a short break in the rain. No one else in sight TFTC
Cache replaced. Hopefully this one will last. We've also moved back to the original location (south wall, not east)
Confirmed gone, I got some new bisons since the last replacement so I'll be able to replace tomorrow.
Out caching with oldmorty and marj01. Marj01 has been here a few times but has had no luck in finding the cache. On our return to the Eastern Suburbs, after a morning caching in Manly, he asked if we could help with the search. We tried, but left empty handed.
OCW frazeydaze and marj01. Even with 3 pairs of eyes we had no luck today. Thanks anyway.
I described the cache mentioned in the hint and Countrykittykat looked up and spotted it in seconds ten! Love a good find before you even get out of the car lol. First time we have needed our tweezers today Tftc
To celebrate the wonderful Countrykittykats birthday, we set ourselves the mad challenge of visiting 30 counties in a day. Not at all sure that it was possible, I planned and prepped and we set out hoping for the best. Only hunting for D1.5 T1.5 caches to accomodate Countrykittykats injured ankle. Low are behold after an epic day of caching, where we saw beach and city, suburbs, bush and farms. We made it! Our 30 counties found and one extra for good measure Just for an extra perk. A wonderful day out together and an adventure we won’t forget quickly! Thanks everyone for making this wonderful day possible by keeping your caches alive. TFTC

Looking to make progress towards my next milestone and on my way to avenge a DNF at Manly.
Got the perfect parking spot and not a soul around. Missed it initially but then spotted on way back to the car. Talk about hidden in plain sight!

Out and about letting my GPS by my guide.
A pleasant 21° day with beautiful sunshine on a spring day. Thanks for placing the cache here. Without Geocaching I would never have found so many interesting places on my travels.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment. Appreciate your efforts.

Parking right near GZ I called DYBs on this find. We Did Our Best and found the cache easily. TFTC marens101
Look down. Can't believe how small it is. Fun catch. Had some destruction because the school was using the field
I saw the review saying that it's missing again, I'll check up on it ASAP. hopefully this afternoon. I'll post an update when I have!
Went back again but only a ring hanging there with nothing attached. Afraid it's gone again.
Sorry it took so long, replaced the cache just then. Looks like I'll have to stock up on bisons
A small tour of Sydney based between Mortdale and Bowen Mountain and Manly had me finding a few caches when I had a spare moment. This cache added to the fun of my visit.
A quick find. No gas was inhaled.
Thanks to marens101 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Found on a quiet Thursday morning. Maisie, the little red scooter, was my ride and she could park very close to GZ. Nice hide. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Thank you marens101 and the balgowlahscouts for this very fine geocache. I enjoyed my little trip over the Spit from Darkest Balmoral to Balgowlah this sunny, autumn Sunday. The bridge was up on my return journey, allowing me to enjoy just sitting there contemplating my good fortune to have discovered geocaching.
Today I wanted two finds for my personal challenge for 2018, to bring my tally to 5 finds on each calendar date. This morning I trained it to Cronulla with the hope of 4 finds but only had one success.
Once home I scoured the geomap for something not too far from home. This fitted the bill so I hopped into the geomobile and drove over. Everything went quickly until I reached the Spit Bridge where I was stopped by the red light. I've never been anywhere near when the bridge has opened before, actually I try to time it so I miss it. Like a couple of others I got out of the car to get a close up view of the passing sea traffic. Something I didn't expect to see!
First away gave me a clear run to the Scout Hall.
After initially checking the wrong building which had the item mentioned in the hint I then moved to the right spot and made a quick find. Thank goodness, my second find today achieved!
The log is strange. I signed after Birdman2099 who was in the FTF spot, don't know where the other names are????

The whole thing was gone, which I wasn't expecting so I didn't have anything else prepared. Replaced with an unmarked red bison tube in the same location. The keyring is attached to an "object", please make sure you replace it in the same spot once you have finished. I suggest not removing the lid of the tube from it's spot. Over the next few days, I'll be looking for a better spot for this somewhere around the hall, and I'll also be printing new geocache labels. There is a fresh RITR log inside the bison. If anyone has any ideas for a new spot, container or camo, please either message me or send an email to [email protected] . Thank you, and happy caching!
I've seen the notes saying that the cache has been tampered with. Unfortunately, I'm away for the weekend, but I'll make sure to fix it up when I get back home. I can see that there are some mixed feelings about micros, however I don't currently have any suitable camos, so I think I'll have to go that route. I'm hesitant to remove the current container, because I like having room for swaps and trackables, so I plan on converting it into a sort of decoy with room for swaps and trackables, while having the actual cache and log in a bison tube. Any feedback is appreciated, it'll take me a day or two after getting back to sort out labels for the bison, but in the mean time I'll sort out the current container and it's contents. Happy caching!
Today I brought overseas to Manly, whilst they enjoyed ice cream at the beach I caught a bus up Sydney Road to GZ.
Scouts make great geocachers in my experience.
As I approached I spotted the cache immediately.....in plain sight rather than hidden in plain sight. Unfortunately, due to it’s obvious positioning a muggle had torn up the log book and thrown it in a nearby muddy puddle. I retrieved what I could and amazingly my pen worked in the soggy paper.
I placed everything back in the box but I think a CO check is in order to replace or dry out the log book.
I have no problem with a D1 rating on a cache, it’s all part of the game however, this one may take a fair amount of maintenance but if as a CO you’re happy to do that then........cache on!

After a long day at work, I needed a quick and easy park and grab. I don’t mind easy ones, we need caches of all difficulties and if you don’t like easy ones, don’t get them!
However, this one is too exposed in what I imagine at times is a busy area. It’s already been interfered with by muggles. Definitely some camo is needed.
I don’t mind nanos either cache# 712 TFTC

No need to change it. It's a good container and fits it's spot. A bit easy but so is the difficulty. Nano's suck and take a lot more maintenance unless there is little traffic.
Don't let others rain on your parade. It's your cache, your creativity and it fits the guidelines so do what YOU want.

I agree with birdman, and I hate Nanos too. It's a good cache and maybe just needs a bit of camo so that it doesn't stand out so much. Just tucking it behind the "equipment" might be good enough.
Please replace it for a nano. That would be a lot better. The cache could be placed in a different area near the current position where it is
I want to get people's opinions in their logs, or you could message me, but people are commenting that this cache is too easy. I think I've got a decent spot for a nano in another spot on the hall, so I'm thinking of transforming the current container into a decoy/swap and placing a nano with the actual log. What do you think?

Stopped off on my way home from work to have a look at this new one, right across the road from my old school, Bali High. Spent many happy years in the Scouting movement (late 70's to 80's), down at 1st Manly (North Harbour boatshed/hall), but have never actually visited this Scout Hall.
Parked the geomobile in one of the handy parking slots in Pickworth Avenue, then headed over to GZ for a look. Spotted the cache container as I approached (no obvious camo present), so hopefully it won't be noticed so easily by passing muggles. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. There was no sign of the TB that's listed in the cache's inventory.
Thanks marens101 and balgowlahscouts for the cache, and it's good to see a new cache placement by the Scouts.
