#797 - I have tried to find this before but there were school kids wagging in the bushes. so we are back today to try again. No kids wagging today so we had success! TFTC
Sneaky- it took us half an hour. Didnt fill out the log book as it was too damaged.cool hunt
It took me ages because I was looking in all the other flax except the right one so when I had a closer look at the GPS I managed to find it
Find number 4610. I first took the route on the wrong side of the wall so had to go all the way back around. Once in the right place I soon had it in hand. Thank you for the placement.
Upon arriving at GZ, I was greeted with lots and lots of the clue item. With no guidance on where to actually search, it was the whole area which took a fair bit of time. In the end, it just resulted in a very unwelcome DNF.
Had time for a quick cache and this one was just right.
The log is a bit damp but still able to be signed and the cache will need some maintenance soon.

I made an unfortunate choice for the direction to approach and ended up circling around the long way, but after a short search, I found the cache. TFTC.
I found more then I bargained for, 2 young college boys waging in the bushes, pillow for a long stay & /rubbish everywhere. Maybe its time to more this cache aross to the otherside of carpark!!
In town for the weekend for family duties and a bit of caching. This one took more searching than it should have but it emerged from surroundings eventually. TFTC

Took a few minutes after double checking the hint. Of course misread it. Quick find in the dark while listening to players play inside.
Many hint items in the area - but all was okay and the cache was quickly in hand. A bit surprised at the amount of rubbish in the carpark. Thanks for the placement, much appreciated.
Nice find on a short trip away - we enjoyed the drive / walk around.
Fairly easily located.

Took a little bit of hunting to find this one. Log is damp so maybe the container is not waterproof. Lots of people playing squash
I'd been putting this one off for a while now - I basically read the hint and it's literally what my geocaching nightmares are made of. However I've got to grab it sooner or later and today was the day. Parking was handy and so was the cache. Turned out to be a neat little park grab - also the cache is now a BYOP.... apoligies TFTC fusion_NZ, cheers.

Had to look a couple of times and almost missed it, but a little bit of persistence paid off.
Nice and hidden near the beach volleyball courts, don't see those very often. Was annoying looking around our favourite plant (not) and getting poked in the eye, but all good, didn't take too long to find. Could hear the squash shoes squeaking too! Tftc
Finally we have a weekend free to catch up with some caches close to home. Great to be out and about on a sunny autumn day TFTC.
5.20pm - Trying to keep up with our personal challenge of having at least 5 caches total per day. One needed today, just happened to be Tauranga this afternoon and spotted this one not far away. GPS was moving about a lot here but figured out location with hint. Pity about the discarded rubbish in the area. SLTFTC
A last minute planned trip in the company of HKCB & Kiwis69 all in pursuit of those dang pixils. So leaving after 6.30pm and collecting bodies as we headed East with plenty of good natured banter and laughs, catching up about going ons as it felt like it had been quite some time since we had together done a night run like this.
All Logs signed HOAC to save on Space
This saw us arrive at this one being the twelvth of the evening. A race between kiwis69 & HKCB ensued with the cache soon being located
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

A last minute trip to help HKCB complete the planetary challenge. I've been living in an alternate universe for at least a month (otherwise known as work overload) and, while I might yet regret the sleep deprivation, was really keen to join in the fun of a night caching trip with the others. As usual, lots of banter & a great time looking for tricky hides in the dark - nights like this remind me why I geocache!
Was a bit worried we'd attract security here but no-one around tonight. Quiet around GZ made for a straight forward search. Log signed HOAC to save on space. Thanks for the hide, TFTC

With time running out to gain enough points for the Planetary Pursuit Souvenirs and not much caching time available in the coming weekend the only time left was a Friday night blast to get the remaining points needed. So a call went out to see who would be keen to tag along and Cats&Dragons, and Kiwis69 heeded the call. So a 6pm departure from Hamilton meant we were caching in TGA a little after 7.30pm.
The night was filled with tricky hides and more than a fair share of DNF's, but we persevered and just after midnight got the last few points to hit that magical 500. A big thanks to all the puzzle makers and placers, for their caches.
Once we got to the right spot the cache was easily found once we tip-toed around all the rubbish.

It's been a while but thought easter Fridays a quiet time so may find something while everyone is scoffing Hot cross buns (which I'm in trouble for not getting)
Went past here on my hunt for page buns so Tiga orders of to stop.
Nice quick and easy find to get back into the swing.

It's so nice to get to log this one. Only because for the last 5.5 mths I've been and still I'm limited to where I can get to with crutches. It might make up for not having any Hot Cross Buns for Good Friday breakfast, but I doubt it.
Yeah another flax bush cache
...my favourite ....not.... easy quick find and sign thanks fusion_nz for the placement

Such a weird feeling fossiking in flax bushes while so many squash players are metres away behind a concrete barrier. Had to discard plastic and glass bottles before locating true cache. Thanks for the placement fusion_NZ
Found this one without any problem. The updated coordinates worked perfectly for us and it didn't take long to retrieve the cache. Thanks heaps
Noticed some logs suggesting the co ord was a bit & searching as per the hint is not my cup of tea i put it on my watch list & when the co ord update came through it was on.nice easy find fusion, thankyou.

As previous finders have noted, the co-ordinates are out (approximately 18m for me) so I didn't pay too much heed to the GPS and just relied on cacher's instinct. As I approached GZ, the tell-tale spoor of a lost pen told me I was on the trail. Searched the first hint object and found it in the second place I looked. A very useful hide for a dot day. I'm so glad of these new caches being published around Tauranga as I've got a lot of mid-week slots to be filled. TFTC.
. Detour on the way home from work - very busy inside with full car park. Walked around the back and saw the spot even though my gps also out by 15m. Never like these sorts of corners or plants but it wasn't too bad yet TFTC
Out for a walk with Mosh the Geo lab and decided to have a look and see if I could find this one. My phone GPS was saying it was about 15 m away from where I eventually found it however the clue was pretty straightforward and even though these are not nice bushes to dig around in the find was pretty painless.

{FTF} With (Mr) Davidson, Apache D, the Clanettes, and TNXPro. We refused to let a little bit of rain scare us off.
We raced across town for this one, knowing what the local caching community is like with their precious first to finds... We arrived at ground zone just ahead of TNXPro, and that head start gave us enough time to locate this one. In fact, we were able to sign this one off together...
We appreciated the hide, but our iPhones placed this cache inside the building, and about 15 meters out... TFTC.

Had just driven past this spot on the way home from the grocery store. As soon as the groceries were unloaded, the notification came through and I was in the car, back to this place I had driven past just 10 minutes earlier.
Thought I was quick, but the others were quicker and had just beaten me to the spot.
Not sure how they found it so quickly, with the coordinates so far out and in the building, but they are experts now and theres only so many places to look here.
Was happy to share the {FTF} though.

Alert came through at 4.37pm, I was 2nd to find at 5.05pm. How lucky were part ofTeam BOP to get there sooo quick, I see you had just logged Cameron Central as new cache was published, literally just around the corner. Well Done, my phone was playing up when I got here saying I was 20 odd mtrs away, geosense kicked in, good shopping list Phillip. Many Thanks.
