Staying in Liverpool but not many caches around here! Thought a sidetracked one would be good for the evening and had no trouble with the location but the cache proved elusive. Unfortunately I am pretty sure this is missing. Searched all over the power pole the only possible location unless it is back behind the construction fence. It's not there.
Located at 10:57pm. #1535.Full log to follow. ! Baruch Hashem! TFTC! Much obliged for the placement AussieBrian!Much Obliged, - Alephroom.
2nd SideTracked cache today, After completing the chipping norton parkrun, I drove over to the Warwick farm area to do the 2 SideTracked caches, tftc!
If your gig is cancelled due to no show, what do you do? Of course, lets go geocaching! Quick find however was too deep in. No drama, plenty of natural TOTTs over there under plentiful trees. Signed log and onwards. TFTC Aussiebrian
In South West Sydney for a time today and as often happens, I got sidetracked by a few caches in this series that I wouldn't normally be near. A straightforward find here, pretty much where I expected it to be ... but it took a bit of persuasion to remove the lid. Thanks for providing me with another opportunity to add to my SideTracked finds tally Aussiebrian.
Whilst in a conference nearby , had a morning walk, crossed this busy road then headed back crossing at the lights, stay safe Thanks Aussiebrian for REALLY SideTracked Warwick Farm Racecourse#6127
Coordinates changed from:S 33 54.871 E 150 56.493Coordinates changed to:S 33 54.854 E 150 56.481Distance from original: 120.0 feet or 36.6 meters.Following construction at GZ, the cache needs to be moved.
A visit today confirmed the location is now a construction site. A new cache is in place but failed to save the coordinates! Will have to make a further visit.
Last cacher reported construction on the site. Will have to search for a new location in the next few weeks.
Sadly not today, did not find at 7:03pmTime to use up a travel voucher before it expires on December 31 so I hatched a plan for a day trip to Sydney to do some LGA's and SideTracked geocaches. First flight out of Melbourne in the morning and last flight back in the evening, it turned out to be a long day, up a 3:30 and back home at half past midnight for a total of nineteen geocaches, thirteen SideTracked and nine LGA's I think this one might be missing, construction fence blocking area.**Thanks for placing this cache Aussiebrian**---Don't miss finishing the Ballarat GeoTour before it ends on 4th March 2024. A list of the geocaches can be found [here](https://coord.info/BM9GWJ5). The final GeoTour Event is the [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) on the 18th February 2024!You can also get prepared for the 2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards by checking out our preliminary lists [here](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/).
We were out at Chipping Norton today to pick up a new bird aviary for our finches, to replace an old rusty one, and noticed this SideTracked cache not too far away, so stopped off at the cache after collecting the aviary.
Parked the geomobile in Shore Street, not far from the cache, then headed over to GZ for a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Didn't notice the Sydney Harbour Bridge until we were leaving and driving a bit further along Governor Macquarie Drive, where we had a good view of it from the vehicle.
Thanks Aussiebrian for another SideTracked cache to add to our growing collection.

Found a selection of caches today with goingplaces2. Happy to add some more smileys to the tally. This was a fun find but was difficult to see. We went around the tree a couple of times before a more detailed inspection revealed the container. Stamped both names on the blank log and we were very happy. TFTC.
Wow! We were very happy to find this SIdeTracked cache. It was the last find for the day with goingplaces2 and it took a while to spot it. We were quite surprised to find an empty log sheet when opening it out. We then read previous logs and figured that it could have been the log placed by the CO a couple of years ago. That made it special for us. Not sure what previous cachers have been finding and signing, but we must have missed that container.

Still there. Time has camouflaged it better. Upping the difficulty rating a bit.
It is strange that there are no signatures since my last maintenance several years ago. Is there a throw down.

Counted on this being a quick find but nothing, PAFed and still empty handed.
Must be well hidden

In the area so a quick stop for a find. Slightly larger than thought and well covered so a couple of laps before thinking about it. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Found this one as my last cache for the day. Circled a few times before laying eyes on it because the fading light meant it was hard to see detail very well TFTC
First cache with the Geogirlfriend! Very nice hide in a pretty cool spot ^_^ TFTC!
A quick stop here as it’s only one street from the route to my vaccination appointment this morning. It’s also a spot devoid of people, often a great cache attribute but especially so in these times. And of course it’s a SideTracked, always interesting caches.
I spied the obvious spot from the car, but exactly where in that spot took me a minute or two. Lovely camo on this. It blends in so perfectly that anyone else could stare at it and see nothing, but a suspicious geocacher will want to check it fairly quickly.
There’s the remains of a concrete slab still visible here, I wonder if it’s the last vestige of the station.

Really slogged it out for this one on international geocache day. Somewhere along a grey area 5k’s from home whilst out on the deadly treadly. It would depend on the thickness of the outside edge. Anyway a midday ride to this side tracked cache and a smiley plus a souvenir for my efforts. Might be making another trek out here as the eldest geo kid has just made his own account. TFTC Aussiebrian
Found, nice and easy.
Finally after driving past here quite a few times on a work run from Bankstown to Lansdowne.

Good little park and grab, after having a couple of DNF in the area was stoked that my partner finally found his first Cache!
Having to use a torch (night time caching) I feel made it a little harder than it needed to be, from the trickery of the shadows.
Neat little hide! TFTC
Not a barefoot friendly cache, lots of bindies about.

Came to look for this one spent a while here lucky the road wasn't busy. Walked into lots of spiders webs some a few times. Finally spotted something out of place and feeling around had the cache in hand
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing another side tracked series cache Aussuebrisn

#4645:
With the temperature getting over 40°C again today, I decided to head out to find some SideTracked caches via lovely air-conditioned trains.
This one took me deep into the Western suburbs - somewhere I've previously avoided. After a very hot walk to GZ from Warwick Farm station, I was blessed with the privilege of it being devoid of muggles!
It could have taken me a while to find this tiny cache, but I managed to get it pretty quickly. Hardest part was stretching to place it all back - glad I'm not a shortie! TFTC.
Also, this cache made me qualify for my end of 2019 souvenir! Cheers.

205th SideTracked cache found, and 23rd in New South Wales.
2nd cache found in New South Wales City of Liverpool.

I came by train - isnt that what you're supposed to do for SideTracked caches?
Although I couldn't see over the fence as I walked I could tell I was passing horse yards by the sound & the smell from behind it!
What a nice old tree is in the cache park. I was lucky as I spotted the cache quickly. While I was getting the log, signing it and returning it a Willie Wagtail serenaded me from about 2m away.
On the walk back to the station I could already see the Harbour Bridge which was lucky as that was my next stop!

I'm in the area today to do an annoying old school multi but needed to tick off my daily. I was happy to spit a nearby sidetracked, so headed here while brainstrust did calcs for the next nasty multi wp. TFTC AussieBrian
Spied this on my first circuit. Putting the body back on to the lid was the hardest task.

Aussiebrian I found your cache REALLY SideTracked – Warwick Farm Racecourse on 9/3/19, 1:54 pm. This is my find 2304 and find # 4 today. Parked next to the cache. After a brief search soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Found today while out caching in the Liverpool area collecting GC and GCA caches for Geocaching Australia’s Summer Games.
Thought I had a fairly good idea of what the clue was refering to and approaching GZ wondered if the coords were out. Then another option presented itself and I was fortunate enough to spy the very well camoed cache from a few metres out. That was lucky as this could have taken so much longer. Signed the log and then the fun began...trying to return the cache. This took significantly longer than finding it! Cache is back in place and ready for the next finder, all in good order here.
Thanks for the cache and history Aussiebrian...my third sidetracked find...what an interesting series this is...i’m inspired to add a cache or two of my own...watch this space.

SideTracked find 24. It's not Spring at present, but I understood the hint and headed for the correct GZ. That was the easy part. Then I went round and round, not being able to spot the cache. Finally, just when I was considering this was going to be a DNF, I spotted the well camouflaged cache . Very tricky! Also tricky to reach and return. I signed GW. TFTC Aussiebrian.
I made a quick stop here on my way to the airport from the nearby hotel. Nice area. TFTC.

Fresh from REALLY SideTracked - ANZAC Rifle Range Station, I arrived here.
No purple sighted but I guess its the wrong season? Plenty of greenery. A search began and not long after, spotted the rather well concealed hide. Good cords helped as well. I did the paper work and rehid. TFTC Aussiebrian.
As I was leaving in the geomobile I spotted what remains on the platform but only a very short section across the road. It must have been a huge stabling area. Also the Harbour Bridge (junior) was spotted.

#4727- Out this way from up the mountains for another day of caching, this time with thomo31. Expected this one to be right near the racetrack, but it was a bit further away than I expected. Still, we saw the horses in their training roundabout across the road. We found the cache in a spot we'd already passed by- once you see it, you can't not see it. Thanks.
Found with Waywardwoman. Our first find for the day. The ground was a bit damp after the rain over the last 2 days. Found after a short search. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
Had to come to Warwick Farm to sign some papers so that my new house can start construction. Grabbed Deep_99 for moral support and a cache grab. Glad we came in winter. SL #3641 on streak day #2197 TFTC
visited here with Ris768 for a quickish find spotted it from the right angle. thanks Aussiebrian for placing this cache

Log 1503 Streak Day 557
An early morning stop this morning on the way to work in an attempt to get another day off my calendar... when we arrived I saw something that would produce loads of purple around November, and which sported loads of potential hiding spots. Worried we will miss our train I have it my all and lo and behold, there’s the cache! Potential to be quite evil!! Oh and we got an earlier train too.
OCW The Bebes and PelDroedGwin. After finding ten caches by kayak on Chipping Norton Lakes and George's River, I thought I'd find a land cache on the way home. Easy park'n'grab. AussieBrian
Out caching with PelDroedGwin, our our way to launch the kayak, we could not resist this one as we drove past.
Another in this great series ticked off.
We have the same spectacular purple one in our garden

OCW the Bebes and we swung by this one on our way through to chipping norton lake. A quick search in the ha location soon had the log to sign. Tftc
Had trouble at first, so many places it could be. A PAF helped me narrow it down, but still no luck. Then just as I was about to hangup, I spied it hidden up there. Sneaky camo and position. Another side-tracked to tick off the list. TFTC
#5037 (1 of 3 today)
Decided to head to Liverpool for a few finds around a bit of shopping. Got three with one DNAttempt, including a previous DNF.
Can't complain!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Started at this new SideTracked cache - been finding a few of these lately! I've even put the ST find counter on my profile.
So better find this one and up the count again.
Parked close and made my way to GZ. A passing pedestrian muggle made my circle a little first, but one he was gone I homed in for a quick find.
Signed, replaced and...oh, the exit goes back towards Liverpool. Right. One there to get.

Working in this area at the moment so I came and grabbed this one. Once at GZ soon spotted the hide. TFTC
The hint had me looking for a flash of purple and I couldn't spot it.
So, I returned to the car to get my phone. As I was ringing I spotted it from the right angle. Nasty!
