We were back in the city today enjoying a pleasant walk around whilst caching. Nicely hidden. Thank you AussiePam and Setrite
Thanks from Japan for the interesting mystery! I did not hear the sing, but the church looks lovely!
I'm visiting Sydney for the weekend and solved this one this morning before leaving my accommodation. It was a quick find at GZ thanks to waving my phone around to video in places I could not discreetly look. Thanks for the interesting puzzle.
I've redone this geocache and hopefully, its new position, while not far from the original GZ, is in a place a lot less likely to invite muggle attention.
DNF for this one, again. Came back after last weeks attempt but didn't do any better . AussiePam.
Attempted to find this at 10:01AM on this Thursday the 9th of June in the year 2022

DNF for this one, I looked with shaneo58 at all the likely spots you would/could hide a cache around GZ, also looked at previous logs for any hints. Need to come back. . AussiePam.
Attempted to find this at 2:23PM on this Thursday the 26th of May in the year 2022

Solved this one but a good search in a place matching extra checker info gave me no cache.
But all seems a miss. The coordinates in the checker are some distance away - at least 30m - and need updating. If it is at coordinates then definitely off limits as it is behind a construction fence.
Found the info matching perfect and looked for a micro but no luck. Suggest it needs reviewing at least for coordinates and possible missing.
Still though, a fun cache to solve.
Thanks to AussiePam and Setrite for the fun and the adventure.

Over in Sydney for some work so grabbed a couple of caches while out and about.
Solved ages ago. Finally made the find today
Many thanks to AussiePam for placing and maintaining In Quires and Places Where They Sing .... I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

Had no luck with this one. Solved the puzzle and got to Sydney nice early only to find GZ off limits
After 2 years covid-confined to my home state, Queensland, the clan finally made a trip south to Sydney for the weekend. Whilst the main plan was to get some culture at the theatre, we also planned on some touristy stuff for the kids - Luna Park, the Bridge, the Rock, a jet boat ride on the harbour and so on.
With the trams out of action today, we opted to walk from our accomodation in Chinatown in to the Rocks for breakfast. Along the way, I managed to discretely work some caching into the day. I had solved this puzzle months ago and was worried that I might not be able to find the relocated cache, given the somewhat vague description provided in the checker. Like most instructions, these were precise and I soon had the the micro in my hands,
Many thanks, Aussie Pam and Setrite

Made short work of this one. I had solved the puzzle a while back and then reentered my solved coordinates in for the clue. Soon had CIH. I struggled with the puzzle as I’m very unfamiliar with hymns but I did manage to work it out.
It was quiet at GZ when I was there. TFTC!

Cruised past again today and no tradies in sight. Quick find and log signed. TFTC AussiePam!
#12380 - 3:54:00 PM; In Sydney for a few days with the geohoney. Left her in the CBD for some retail therapy while I headed out for a spot of caching. Today's mission was to finally log a big multi I started some four years ago, pick up some Adventure Labs and any other caches in the areas I found myself in. Geocaching mission finished, this was the last stop after meeting up with the geohoney in the CBD again. Solved the piuzzle before we headed north and with the assistance of the infortmation from the geochecker, made a quick find and sign on the fresh log sheet today. TFTC AussiePam
Solved this last night and was excited to go find this today as it would be my 100th find, since I started a few months ago. Was nice to know there is a cache so close to my office and I never knew! Was planning to head out during the day but the pouring rain hindered my thoughts to attempt it. After work the rain had mostly subsided so made a quick stop to pickup. An umbrella is a good way to hide what you are doing in the city though was careful to make sure no muggles walking by. Thanks AussiePam. Nice to solve this after I solved the second one in this series first as closer to home.
I've moved this hide to a quieter, safer spot and replaced the container etc.
A detailed description of the new location is given when correct co ordinates are entered in the Checker.

Sydney Feb 21 Trip. Day 2. I joined Fitzy_1965, MinnieK and Tankengine for a weekend trip to Sydney to attend a few Community events and do as much caching as possible. We started with a puzzle series at Quaker's hill in light drizzle. There was then mixed caching and the first event at the Ponds. We headed into town after that and caught up with a bigger contingent of Canberra caches for dinner and a lap of Darling Harbour for caches there. It all got a bit late but it was a great day.
After dinner, the four of us were joined by some other travelers from Canberra for a walk around Darling harbor, where we visited all the caches we could get to. Even a few in the dark.
Thanks for the cache AussiePam

Found whilst out and about on a weekend trip with other Canberra cachers. It was great fun to walk around here and find so many different cache types. TFTC.
Headed up to Sydney with fitzy_1965, albida33 and Tankengine for the weekend attending some Community Celebration events and caching inbetween.
Met up with other Canberra cachers for dinner and continued for a bit of evening caching under the name Capital Crunchers.
All caches were found quickly and in good condition.

#6890 For the second weekend in a row, a geo-road trip ! This time to Sydney to attend a special Community Event on Cockatoo Island joined in the car by Kittykatch & Cosmonaut97. There were a number of other notable Canberra geocachers heading up and staying at our hotel, so it was a merry weekend of eating, drinking and caching. But before we got there we dropped in to Picton to run the local parkrun at 8am, grab breakky and a few local caches too. An earlier attempt at the local Adventure Lab failed for me due to intolerable traffic, but no such issues today. So after grabbing these we headed on to Camden. I was pleasantly surprised by Camden with it mix of lovely parks and heritage features. So then on to our hotel in Sydney. While I grew up in Sydney, I've never been to Cockatoo Island before, so I was quite keen to attend the event there. It was good to see an Adventure Lab there too. After the event, we headed back into town after a very pleasant ferry ride back to Circular Quay. Another event down at Homebush Bay topped off the weekend.
Signed as "Capital Crunchers".
Thanks AussiePam and Setrite

We are almost all together now. Still a few missing till tomorrow but so cool to get this one. All good with cache.
On a trip to Sydney to get some cool caches with Barb2e, Isopeda, Cosmonaut97, Kittykatch and Strangetrousers caching together as Capital Crunchers or CC. Going to be a great weekend.

Nice to solve and sign today. Continuing our wander around Sydney. Found with Joolay, Kittykatch, Strange Trousers, Isopeda and Cosmonaut and more and signed as Capital Crunchers. Tftc
It took a while to spot this one but when I did I had sit it out and wait for some muggles to move on. I enjoyed solving this one and I enjoyed finding the cache! Thank you!
Have been sitting on the solved coordinates since 2018 having also visited GZ when we called off the search due to amount of muggles. Being in town this morning with some additional sets of eyes, we managed to search practically muggle free and made the find after a bt of a search. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before returning as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache AussiePam and Setrite.
The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football

Solved this one a long time ago but never had a chance to get it over that period of time. With a few of us in town this morning decided to have a look for this one. With the cloud cover, drizzle and the buildings around the GPSr was still registering a long way from where we were. That weather must have also kept the muggles away. So a hinderance and a bonus. So started the search and with the extra group it was quickly found.
We were wondering what the money was in the cache. Left it anyway
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. The log was damp again but still able to be signed. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache AussiePam and Setrite
The following TBs visited for the distance - Hawkesbury Tiger, 2011- 2019 NSW geocoins, Area 51 Tag, Cache In Trash Out Geocoin, Cache In Trash Out Tag, CITO Micro Geocoin, dirty Black Juke, Four Elements Geocoin, Mary Hyde's compass, Optical Illusion Geocoin, Spindoc Bob Memorial Geocoin, Trackable Building Brick, Wales Flag, Wheel of Caching Geocoin

Our first cache! because of that, added this 10 polish zloty to the cache! I thought the hint was pertaining to something obvious nearby but i was wrong. haha, but found it anyway after some time. Had to wait until some boys stopped practicing footy and the lovers vacate the nearby bench. Nice puzzle. TFTC. looking forward to more puzzle caches!
Quick search around GZ. Confused at first but after solving the hint I spotted where I needed to be, and CIH in moments.
Quick find at GZ. Needed a few attempts to be able to grab it without anyone else around.
This is an amazing cache for me. I walk past this cache every day on the way to work and have never known it was there. Today, having solved the coords I spotted it without slowing my step (too Many schoolkids in the square to retrieve it at the time). Also, I had eyed this one some time ago, but not reading the description closely, assumed i needed to access the cathedral to solve the coords. The cathedral opened up again (COVID) last week so I take another look and discover my mistake. Argh! Anyway TFTC...
tHE RESEARCH ON THIS ONE TOOK ME BACK A FEW YEARS TO CHURCH AND HYMNS AND STUFF. (oops caps). Got myself to the area around GZ and it took a while to find the cache. It's just a matter of patience...and realising what the hint refers to. Worth a fave point for sure. TFTC
Found on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon with Mystic Seer. Tough, but got there in the end!
Located in a gr8 spot. No room for swaps or drops SL TFTH TFTC Cache replaced as found ready for the next adventurer. Thanks and cache on
Solved this and had a DNF a few weeks ago. Time to go back, now the cache has been replaced. Always good to have an excuse to get up from my desk and go for a walk!
GZ still very quiet, making it a quick grab. Like an idiot I forgot a pen! Have photographic evidence of find

Out and about today with Calypso62 for a day of adventures.
The main aim was to completed the Sydney Operatic Operation AL.
We decided to take our bikes in to the city and start at town hall and do a sweep of caches before completing the AL.
I worked this one out on the train and once at GZ it was a quick find.

Sorry about this one. I'm not as comfortably mobile at the moment, but managed a masked visit today. It had indeed once again been muggled.
I've replaced the container.
I've replaced the container.
Had a heads up that his had been replaced today, so ducked out of the office and made the short walk to make the find.
Cheers

Solved the puzzle after a few attempts. Wasn’t paying enough attention to detail when I read the description! Arrived at the GZ on a muggle-free Sunday...but no luck. Found a fitting spot that I think the hint is referring to but no sign of the cache. Thanks for the puzzle and the hunt! I’ll keep my eye on this one.
Having solved the puzzle a few weeks ago, I thought I’d take advantage of the lack of muggles during the week to search for this one.
Unfortunately I found my self at a bit of a loss. Tried to use satellite image as suggested on a previous log. Not sure if I got the hint wrong or misunderstood it but it’s a DNF for now

Solved In Quires and Places Where They Sing (GC7KMQD) - Success! Now to plan a caching day to retrieve the goods
In view of the easing of some Covid-19 movement restrictions, I'm re-enabling this geocache.
We have, however, been asked to continue vigilance, social distancing and sensible hygiene practices.
We have, however, been asked to continue vigilance, social distancing and sensible hygiene practices.
To help stop the spread of Covid-19, The Australian and NSW Governments require all of us to stay at home unless we are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
Many of us have continued hunting geocaches – justifying this as exercise – and telling ourselves we're doing it responsibly by avoiding high urban traffic areas, practicing social distancing and hygiene etc. Some others are possibly less careful.
As a Cache Owner, I feel duty bound to follow the lead of wiser heads (wise guys?) and lessen the temptation to break curfew, so to speak. To that end, I'm now temporarily disabling all my hides. Please don't try to log them.
Hopefully, if we all do our bit for our collective well-being, our community will make it through this difficult time.
Let's stay home and work on solving some of the pesky puzzles we've been avoiding tackling. Or maybe get creative with ideas for future hides. And of course we can still geo-chat on social media.
Be safe – and keep smiling!

Tftc! Many thanks AussiePam for the rapid response. A great fun cache. The puzzle and find are excellent. Fav point
Thanks for the tip, AussiePam, but I can't find it. Methinks that it has been muggled, or I've gone blind.
I'm in Sydney this week from across the ditch attending a conference. I've taken the opportunity to grab some caches while I'm here. I'll expand on my logs when I get back home (as well as posting photos, answering questions, etc.)
Another early morning start, trying to pick up as many caches as I can on my last day in Sydney. I had solved this one back home and it was just off my intended route. Hopped off the L train. Headed to GZ, found and signed the log, replaced, and headed back to jump on the next L train. All good here. TFTC

We solved this one from home before arriving for our Aussie adventure. Found the cache quite easily but couldn't remove the log as it was wedged in there. We put our names on a piece of paper and added it to the cache. Thanks for the puzzle and thanks for the hide...in a very suitable spot!
Another wonderful day caching and exploring in Sydney. So much to see and do and our team were thrilled to have a cache to find here. Team CCC was comprised of WRTagalong, MissPeach13, Mr. Peach13, Kteeeee, Mr Kteeeee and me. I shoveled snow got on a plane and arrived to this rain deluge. We are thrilled as we know the rain in needed but really that was a lot of rain. The puzzle was simple yet fun. Thank you.
Easy, but impossible retrieval of the log without the proper TOTT! We spent quite a while using pins & pens and thick paper trying to retrieve log- but failed. Instead we inserted an additional paper signed CCC for our caching crew.
Love the puzzle name as well as the hide area! Fave.

While waiting for a friend, I decided to pick up the final for this one. I don't often do puzzle prep work until I have a specific target in mind, but as I wanted to clear out more of the city, I had this one solved for a day like today. I enjoyed solving this puzzle (because I could do it on my own!) and even though there were muggles about, the find was made easily and replaced safely after signing was completed. Thanks AussiePam ad Setrite.
After our DNF of a couple of days ago we took ris768’s advice and looked at it on satellite view when we got back to our apartment with Wi-fi (our UK phones do not have internet access). The satellite view showed it was in an area we had not searched and a bit away from where our Cachely map was suggesting. A bus trip, a ferry trip and a tram trip later we were back. A lot quieter this morning and an instant find. Extracting then log took us forever. Many thanks.
Didn't even have to solve the puzzle! Was down by the cathedral one day and after a quick search had it in my hand. Tftc!
So disappointed not to be able to find this one as it was our target cache for our day trip to the city. Not sure we understood the the hint (and no internet connection to double check). Although the general area was very busy, there seemed few actual hiding places. Hope to return some time in the future.
Found with RIS768 while in the area today

This time Deep_99 had to work in the city, so I caught the train out to meet up with him. I wanted to have another go at this one as I was sure my phone was all over the place last time. Looked at the satellite image on google maps to put us closer to GZ and then it was a quick find to keep the streak going. Took much longer to get the log out and neither of us had tweezers, went rummaging in my bag and luckily had my work security tag on me. SL #4370 on streak day #2755 TFTC
So glad to solve and find this one. Thanks for making it fun and for bringing us to this interesting place.
After solving the puzzle a year ago, I’ve finally been able to find the cache with no muggles around

and came up with goods despite the muggles.

Well now, this one has been solved for sometime but never taken the time to stop and grab it. Now it's the only one unfound with a halo of golden smilies around it. Time to finally turn it into a find. TFTC
Finally got it! Enjoyed the puzzle, which took longer than expected due to not being sure which numbers to use. Had looked a couple of times when I finally found it but couldn't see anything and the place is crowded with muggles. Thanks for creating this cache
Visiting from New Zealand for the weekend and finding a few caches as I wander around. Great hide, and all safe and dry. TFTC
Find number 4694.
Having solved this a while a go it was simply a matter of time and patience as most my meetings at TH where at lunch the area was seldom conductive to a safe search. But this morning a training course at Pitt Street provided an excellent chance to pick up this cache.
Thanks AussiePam and Setrite for placing this cache.

Woohoo!!!!! So please to convert my blue grumpy face to a yellow smiley!
I was in the city to attend a very special award ceremony for a really good mate and got off the train at Town Hall. I knew AussiePam had replaced this cache so thought it was a good opportunity to grab it as I was passing and had the time available. I came round the corner to find the area teeming with school kids from the Cathedral School. I guess it was recess! They were all chatting with each other and playing on their phones. I'm pretty sure I was able to grab the cache, sign the log and return it without being noticed.
I really enjoyed solving this puzzle and claiming the find in this lovely part of the city. In all my years, I've never ventured into St Andrew's Cathedral. I must do it one day! Awarding a favourite point.

Decided to come into town today and find a few caches including targeting the lab cache. Getting off at Town Hall I remembered I had solved this a few months ago. Initially searched the wrong place but then made the find shortly afterwards. Not too many people around today at midday. Thanks AussiePam and Setrite.
I suspect this one may be missing. Will disable until I can sort it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you for the fun puzzle. Nice to know we sing the same hymns on the other side of the earth. See ya in the spring when we visit.
Penguinphloppers from California in town for our first family trip to Australia (my second visit to the country but first to Sydney). We arrived fresh off the plane at 6:00am and powered through the whole day, taking a ferry to Manly, walking across the bridge, and eating lots of good food. At this point the rest of the crew wanted to rest in the hotel room (no sleeping! was the rule), so I walked around for a couple of hours, picking up a few more caches. This was the sixth and last of this run. I had solved this back at home before I arrived, so I had the coordinates queued up in the phone. I wasn't sure where to look, as it seems that the coordinates are a little bit off. But I eventually found it, despite the hint no longer being accurate. TFT?C! #3501
