While staying at Rutherglen on our fifth day the rain slowed down allowing us to tackle the BBP series. While we were doing this trail we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

After spending the first part of the day looking for caches in the BBP series, we turned our attention to some other caches in the Rutherglen area. This was one of them.
Accurate coordinates and a logical hide location led to a quick find. However the log was very wet and just signable. Some attention by the CO is required. Thanks Bingley3683 for the cache.

More information and history about our fantastic region. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
After stuffing our faces with the best poor I've ever eaten and the best cream and jam donut I've ever eaten
There was a white frost on the lawn of a house as we left the caravan park to begin our second day in this lovely area.
Reading on the cache page that it was a nano, led us in the wrong direction.
feathertop read her GPS instead which led her to the cache.
Chilly fingers for our first one for the day.
Thanks Bingley.

It was the first cache of the day and low fog and wet grass greeted us as we pulled up.
Initially distracted in the search before following the GPS.
Nice hiding spot but bigger than a nano.
Found with Cybergran.

Found by Rebel Acts, in the Company of my good friends Roostaman, Mrs Roosta and Ski Pair, we were all able to find a free week to get away and do some caching around the Rutherglen area, we had a great time despite some very frustrating hides.
This is one of the caches found today. Nice piece of history.
All logs signed as Rebel Acts or RASP (Rebel Acts & SKI Pair).

Just a short trip today from Benalla to Rutherglen where we are staying. We picked up a puzzle we had overlooked on our last visit to the Wangaratta Mega and then spent some time in Wangaratta collecting a few we had missed there as well before finally reaching Rutherglen early afternoon.
we met up with Rebel Acts and Roostaman and Mrs Roosta.
All set up and ready for some solid caching here, with plenty of preparation done in the months leading up. A beautiful day today and the area pretty quiet at this time of year.

Spending a couple of days caching with Bogonghazy around Corowa. Thanks Bingley3683 for placing the geocache
**Staying in Corowa for a couple of nights**
A fantastic day to be out in the fresh air and sunshine. SO - whilst some worked, I made my way around the area. It was great to be back on the road exploring the roads less traveled letting my GPS be my guide.
A nice straight forward find here with good coordinates. I left my mark on the log and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Bingley3683. Appreciate your efforts.

We have been in Corowa helping family clean up after the recent rain. Heading back to Wodonga, there were a number of roads closed and water over many roads. I already had wet feet, so it didn't matter that I had to paddle through ankle high water to get to GZ today. Cache found and log all dry. Some interesting local history.
Thanks Bingley3683 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Corowa - Rutherglen
Today will be our last day caching in Victoria.
We have made our base at Ball Caravan Park Corowa for a few days
Lots of history & wineries in this area. Geocaching has been a wonderful way for us to explore this region.
Hubby being a kiwi was interested in learning more about Micky Savage

Suscoe headed out this today for a circular trip from Wangaratta to almost Wodonga and then out through Browns Plains to Wahgunyah and back through the farmlands to Wangaratta.
It was a pleasant trip with the temperature reaching 30 in the car but from time to time we had clouds and a bit of wind that seemed to cool us a little.
It is strange to see the greenish tinge to the grass as we wound our way between caches.
Thanks to Bingley3683 for this hide.

On our way to Wangaratta, we took a few back roads and decided to come and stop here. Having a little Kiwi heritage, we were immediately curious about this one. A nice sneaky and. Eat Hide and we soon had our name on the log sheet.

Drove down to Rutherglen for a Parker’s Pie and decided to swing past this cache on our way home. Remember coming for FTF on the original LoMo cache here, it was a nifty hide.
The grass had recently been mowed which made for a less stressful walk in this warm snake weather.
Thanks for the cache Bingley.

Our final day in Yarrawonga, we headed east to Wahgunyah and Rutherglen - we really felt as if we were in Team Thommo Territory. It was a great day of caching. Interesting snippet of Kiwi history.
Thanks Bingley3683 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Intresting story. Grabbed this one on a drive home from Rutherglen, i noticed sun reflecting off the cache from the car, nice little hide thanks.
After reading the plaque, the cache was quickly found, log signed, returned to it's hide and we were on our way. Thanks for the cache.
#4445 Always enjoy learning about some interesting local history as we travel the back roads. The connection from kiwi land to the Rutherglen area is a fascinating one. A local farmer was driving past slowly, so we read the interpretive sign near gz very slowly... After the coast was clear we swooped on the sneakly hide. The pen came in handy for 2 reasons here . TFTC Bingley.
Found by edmil & Maddie @3:35pm.
Out for a bit of drive on a road less travelled by us and figured there would be a cache planted at the location. Whipped out the phone and sure enough there was. Had it in hand a short time later. Log signed and cache returned to hide. TFTC

TeamOZCAT out and about signing Bingley3683 caches. We both got these caches under our individual profiles, but wanted to re visit them as a team
After poking around a few rocks and finding a few centipedes the cache was finally found to be all in good order. Thanks for the find.
Travelling north is via a rather convoluted route with a few detours, some back roads and even some backtracking as I went from cache to cache, and finding some amazing scenery, stunning old trees all made to look rather magical with the haze from the recent fires which is not a good thing. What a varied career this man had. So many different experiences TFTC Bingley
Spent the Australia Day long weekend around Wangaratta and region with fitzy_1965 and GLISS!
The Winery Walkabout was our main reason for heading down this way. 250km round trip for the day was hot and exhausting but lots of fun.
Quick find here today.

Day 2 of our visit south. Heading up towards Rutherglen with one of our main aims was the Winery Walkabout Series and any bonus caches along the way - like this one. This was a fun and informative Trad to do, and a nice quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Bingley3683 !!

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

On our way back to Albury from spending Christmas in sunny Yarrawonga with family, and we decided that we had driven past this far too many times , so today we were going to stop for a look.
We remember the chequered past the poor previous cache had here, but a quick search for this one showed it shouldn't receive the same attention....
The log is very full but I found a spot along the side to scribble our name, and we were off into the sunset.

Had a meeting in rutherglen and needed a few more smilies. This was the first one I went for and an easy find in the end
After doing a lap around the block waiting for the school bus and cars to disappear i ran straight over to the obvious spot, it wasnt there! I was aware that the shortly departed school bus meant that my kiddies were due to be dropped off soon which meant i didn't have a heap of time for this find ?? Where could it be? I checked the phone.. arghhh A MICRO!!! How could i not have noticed, in a quick panic i started searching.... luck was on my side, found it super quick, signed and made it back to chiltern just in time for my kids school bus .... tftc
Found while on tour of the area geocaching.
Good to point out the local history.

I had searched for the previous cache at this location with no luck.. its great to see that a new cache is now located here and highlights another piece of our history. Thanks Bingley..
My large hands just love these micros NOT. All geocaches get me outdoors, and any cache may highlight ...Vistas, Flora, Fauna, Local Interests, Events & History. Perhaps even being a simple challenge. Regardless of a find or not, they are all unique and I sincerely thank the cache owner for placement of this one.
I found the original list monster cache, a noteworthy topic good to see another cache here. TFTC
Had a few hours spare today and despite the weather forecast being pretty dire decided to take the geohound for a scoot around a few caches around Chiltern (and pick up a few more multis for a BB3747 Challenge). In the end got 14 caches (and 1 DNF - need to check that puzzle again!) and made significant inroads on another Bingley multi. A good day and I didn't even get wet!
Got the clue I needed for the multi but unfortunately too far away (will be back soon as the unloved numbers are too good to resist). So heading home this ended up being the last for the day. Took a little while (recent rain has made the hide a bit less obvious) but persistence eventually meant the log was signed. A nice little hide and an interesting bit of local history. TFTC

Road-tripping with TheClazzas - kids were keen to go pokemoning & mums caching...great we can combine both hobbies . This was our first find for the morning after battling a raid in Howlong. Quick find by MrsClazza. SL & replaced as found. Tftc I must have found the previous one here as the information is very familiar.

The first cache of the day on a trip down towards Wangaratta.
We had found the previous hide here a couple of years back, and so we had been to this spot before and knew the history of PM Savage.
Just as we arrived we received a few drops of rain, but it soon dissipated and we then went for a look. Found with no problems.
SL at 12.45pm. All ok with the hide.
A good start to the day and it was good to see this monument with a cache again. TFTC Bingley3683.

Continuing on from checking out the Silo Art with BettyBoo, we re-visited the site of this bit of Kiwi history. Very nice and a quite different hide to the previous one. BettyBoo was first to lay eyes on this one and we all SL at 4.27pm. By now we are all sick of the blustery wind and swirling dust, so time to head back home after a successful afternoon of caching fun. #5179 TFTC Bingley and thanks for bringing us back to check the historical notice board.
#14220. Touring around on a windy, dusty Sunday aftenoon with Harrowang. Haven't seen this type of thing since Ouyen days. They are kindly chauffeuring me around as we aim for the two new Silo Art caches and a new one by Bingley near Rutherglen. A round trip where both the car and the passengers got buffeted every time we opened the door.
2TF for us as we head back towards Wangaratta. Good to see this one back in play. A nice hide here and we all held on to the various bits and bobs so they didn't blow away to Sydney before we added our names to the log.
Thanks Bingley3683
