Wow thats a strong magnet. Had me sitting on the ground with both hands getting it free! Thanks for bringing me to this area and showing me a new spot TFTC
Camping in the area. Time to grab a few caches. A favorite for Ramp it up from Chalk it up. Cheers!
Catching up with late logs.We are traveling with Geoturtle 37, Papi4506 & The Drovers to do an assault on Bathurst and surrounds. We solved all the puzzles we could before we left home which was also an enjoyable part of this journey. We had a great time here in the Orangearea finding all types of cache sizes and hides but unfortunately we have got behind in our logging and are trying to catch up now.We can no longer remember the caches individually so we apologize for the generic log, it's certainly not meant to take anything away from our experience, it's just the old minds just ain't what they used to be.Many thanks for adding this piece to the game board for our enjoyment.
Team Crackers, The Drovers, Geoturtle37 and I are staying in Bathurst for a few days. Each day we head out in a different direction. We ventured into this location and found a really great camping area. There were a few people visiting but also a number of permanent residents. We only managed to find a couple of caches before we were evicted from the area. There were men with guns everywhere. We thought they were hunting, but GT37 spoke with one of them and they were on a training weekend. Apparently, access would soon be denied to anyone wanting to enter, we had just managed to sneak in a little early. They were all friendly and stopped all activity when we approached but it is not what you usually expect to find when caching in a rocky pine plantation. The weather was rather drizzly but didn't cause us any big issues. We soon had the cache in hand, signed and returned to where it was found. Thanks for placing it for us to find
Day 3 of our Bathurst trip with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506.Today we did a lot of country driving, and included Orange in our travels. The scenery was lovely with the trees turning a multitude of different colours for winter. All puzzles were solved before the trip. This is one of the caches we stopped to find along the way.A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, Code1, for us and others to find.
Little bit of work. Should have worked it out sooner had to us the hint. Good hide. Chilly day. TFTC. log is very wet near useless.

I had a little spare time today, so figured it was time to visit this part of the world and start to find the caches spread throughout. I arrived at GZ to find a familiar looking object, which I expected to take up some of my time to locate the cache, but as luck would have it, the cache was spotted after around a 30 sec search. Looking forward to coming back out here in the coming weeks.

Quick easy find. We didn't do all the caches in the forest today as we didn't have time. I don't particularly like caches so close to the road. Very close to the road so be careful!
We have decided to stay one night in the forest. After setting up camp we headed out to do the caches that were a little further away leaving us to explore the forest in the afternoon.
We were quite surprised to see so many people at the camp ground, quiet a few look as if they have been living here for some time.
We enjoyed our drive around the area, some very scenic locations.
Thankyou Code1 for placing this cache.

#503. A nice quick find with meals 5. A little bit of trouble retrieving but got it in the end. TFTC!
Had a little difficulty in finding it and then being able to record details but finally managed to do so. Good hide.
Tftc, quick dash down the road, no logging here today. Searched for a bit with no luck, ramped up our efforts and a find was made
Orange 2020 Day 3. I headed out for a long weekend away with Fitzy1965 & MinnieK to cache between Orange and Dubbo. We explored forests and towns and camped at Macquarie Wood. The weather was great and we managed to visit many more caches than I ever expected. The day started with packing up, then we found the remaining caches around the woods here. Lastly we finished the day by getting to as many of the Orange caches as we could in the remaining time.
Thanks.

A plan was hatched for the three of us to head up this way for some quality caching over the 3 days. Day 3 and we packed up camp before trying for all the caches in the Woods. Quick find on this one, and we were soon off to the next one.
Thanks Code1 !! Very convenient series !

Great day out caching with the kids! We love this place. Kids loved this one too! TFTC!
Having based ourselves in Bathurst we enjoyed caching around the locality. So green now after the recent rain and we loved the scenery. We enjoyed this Macquarie Woods recreational reserve so much we are going to camp here with the caravan tomorrow night. Nice hide. Thanks to Code1 for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
After finding some caches around Lake Canobolas and in Orange with goingplaces2, we decided to pick up some of the caches in Macquarie Wood. It was a successful run and with a variety of caches and hides found. Log signed and replaced. TFTC.
After doing a selection of caches around Lake Canobolas this morning, as well as some in the Orange area we headed out to Macquarie Woods to go for a drive around a beautiful area, so green and peaceful. The caches here were all different and were all placed differently. Many thanks go to Code1 for placing this cache for us to find and enjoy.
Caching far away from home, stayed at the nearby woodlands camping site on a cold night. What better way to warm up then get out and do some nearby caches. A easy find. Tftc

Tftc. Nice drive through here. Mrs Jaybeem had a chuckle as I nearly went head over heels due to the strength of the attachment.
