Staying in a nearby hotel for a couple of nights courtesy of an airline due to a late night cancelled flight and zero availability for a flight on the Saturday. Getting out of my box hotel room for some fresh air and a walk, and decided to check whether any caches were in the area.
Quick easy find. Signed log book and replaced as found. TFTC.

A bit of late night catching let me out here. I think the logs been wet and dried out and may need to be replaced. Signed a piece of paper and put it in the container. TFTC
Found it, but it was just on the ground. I have hid it again. Hopefully in the right place
Great location and fairly quiet. Getting some exercise in. Enjoyed the views. TFTC
On my way to bust my niece out of day care early and stopped in to grab this cache nearby. I can’t wait for Edgars Rd to be completed all the way through to Craigieburn East Rd - this rabbit warren of traffic is a nightmare for all these new estates.
The cache was found quickly but the log was very damp. Did my best to get my name in it.
Thanks VK3TV for the cache.

There are lots of wading birds around the area. This cache was a speedy find on a Saturday afternoon with no one in sight.
Due to work I find myself in Epping with a couple of hours to spare, what better to do than a spot of geocaching on this chilly Melbourne night. Quick park and grab, happy I didn't have to search the entire structure. Nice hide. TFTC
Out with xambo4u for our first day of caching since the covid lockdown, we felt free again.
A quick find on a cold windy day. Thanks VK3TV.

Out and about today with echidna44 escaping for our first time since lock down. Ventured North to continue our clear out of the area. IInteresting to see these new building sites that are popping up. Nice easy find thanks for the cache VK3TV
I picked this one up on the way home after filling my tank with Diesel for under $1 a litre! With sanitized hands I signed the log and returned it to its hiding place. The log was dry as a chip and in good condition. TFTC VK3TV

An early start from home - less traffic, clouds cleverly blocking the sun as we travelled eastward toward "10 Months to the event in Whittlesea".
We made quite a few "Cache Stops" along the way, this being the first.
Our thanks to 'VK3TV' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

A good hide and a quick find after the compulsory weekend outing to the local Bunnings, TFTC.
Found at 11:26 AM GAFF1.
Killing time while the stove in our van is being serviced, I looked around for a few of caches that I could do. This one was going to be the start of a run heading south, but as I arrived, the factory called and the stove was ready So a quick look and there it was - badly situated and ready to be muggled!
A nice little oasis in the midst of industrial land.
Thanks VK3TV

Daddy day care means lots of time to go caching! Good little stop to let the nugget stretch his legs.
It was amazing the number of kangaroo's around this cache, and they didn't really care about use either. A nice quiet area and quick find. Thanks,

Headed out with Fleabag today for a few hours to continue our mystery at the Museum campaign. So we headed out to an area where neither of us had found too many.
Appreciate the pencil thanks.
Thanks VK3TV for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Out with Spiffy- collecting clues for the Mystery Challenge. Definitely not warm today and it was often hard to write with frozen fingers. Quick find for us.

When I grew up in the suburbs to the south, Edgar's and Dalton Roads stopped where Epping began; Thomastown and Lalor were effectively isolated from their surrounds by open space to the north and south, and creeks in the other directions, unless you took the train or could drive on the busy High Street.
That was my playground. We could walk or ride anywhere within those boundaries, and there was no escape without tackling the tangles of thistles in the paddocks.
Boy, have things changed... shared paths on the creeks, and houses everywhere. Plenty of places to hide Geocaches along trails and a bunch of parks for kids big and small to explore.
Which brings me to this evening. This is the first time I've been to what is, at the moment, the top end of the road, and I'll have to bring the bike up here soon. With the weather looming, I had just enough time to relax and sign the log after a nice easy find, before venturing closer to my old home.
VK3TV, thanks for the incentive to explore... I'll be back on the trails, paths and bike lanes soon.

Out and about in the area putting some smiles on the map.
Good to have a quick drive-by sometimes.
Cheers for the cache.

Being a quiet Sunday afternoon it was a case of pulling up nice and close to the gz and making a quick find. Thanks VK3TV for the hide, it will be interesting to see how the wetlands around this area grow in and mature, certainly a nice change than wall to wall buildings.
I found your cache Edgars Upper, on 24 March 2019
Sadly the bag was ripped and I wasn't carrying one of appropriate size.
RC helicopter flying nearby.
Thank you for placing and maintaining this geocache for us to find VK3TV.

Thanks for another cache!.. its sad too see how people just dump rubbish everywhere.
Out to pick up my son after his afternoon shift - I thought I would try my luck to find this one. It was an easy find and lovely night to enjoy the fact of no-one around. After signing the log and putting it back - I had 3 kangaroos bounce in front of me. TFTC VK3TV and for showing me another different spot in Epping.
Suscoe was heading homewards now.
A lovely day, delightful sun and mild temperatures.
The day was disappearing steadily and this was the last caching stop.
There is a large population of ducks nearby enjoying grazing on the grass, hope they keep safe in the coming weeks.
Thanks to VK3TV for this hide, a steadily developing area.
Time to head home now, its been a long day since 6 am.

Tftc had to take a trip to get some gardening supplies though we would see whats about this was a quick park and grab
This is an unusual place for a park being in an industrial area. I had to sit down and relax after finding the cache. TFTC.
My very last unfound county in the immediate Melbourne Region, wooohooo!
Had to pick this last one up, and decided the best time would be when leaving Melbourne and heading back home to Canberra. I spotted this newish traditional cache and it is certainly the easiest to access from the main highway! Just a quick detour, and also used the time to get some food and very cheap petrol at the station nearby! Petrol is almost 40 cents cheaper here than it is in Canberra, what a joke.....
Thanks VK3TV, an interesting area that seems very bare at the moment, will be curious to see how it develops in the future!

Thanks for showing us the new development here. Great to see the environment is preserved for the growling grass frog. TFTC
Found it pretty quickly, it will be a nice spot for a lunch break for some workers in the not too distant future.

A quick park and grab with lots of learner drivers about here today!

Was in the general area and couldn't leave this one on it's own. A quick easy, obvious hide in a very quiet area. Thanks so much for the cache.

On my way home from work, again, more caches to find, never enough time in the day...
Grew up playing in and around Edgar’s Creek but down in Reservoir, both upstream and downstream of the lake. Never been to this end though, thanks for bringing me here and for the memories. Quick find.
**Thanks for placing this cache VK3TV**

Found @16:00 after a quick trip to the big green shed. Muggle Matt, my reluctant boyfriend made the find. TFTC!

In the area tonight and needed a cache for another "found by date". A nice easy drive by, closely watched by 4 kangaroos.

I had to come over to the Big Green Shed today, so being close I had to grab this hide while nearby, Thanks for the cache, VK3TV, I needed a rest after walking around the shed
Decided to grab a cache today to reset my 47 day slump, so picked one close to home. Google maps took me the long way, but when I got to GZ I realised the roads are connected to Edgars Rd and you can drive right up to it now. I parked in Kirraley Drive and found it easily. Walking back to the car I saw a car drive past with L plates and thought this would be a great place to take my son in August when he gets his L's. It was very quiet on a Sunday afternoon. TFTC VK3TV.
I made this one harder than it should have been by parking at the wrong end of Jersey St and having to walk through all of the paddocks.
They have done a lot of work around this area to allow for all of the new estates and still having the creek.
Once at GZ a quick search and I soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for another cache that you have placed for us to find VK3TV.
Thanks VK3TV TFTC

Last one for today, then on the bike again, down Edgars road and home. Thank you VK3TV all your hides today were excellent and I enjoyed everyone even the one I didn't find. The glue on this one is the same as the bbq it has let go, it needs reglueing, the magnet still holds it in it's hide.

A cache close to work , always handy when travelling home, this was found as the winds of winter begin to whip up their frenzy to freeze us
Fantastic first to find. Was geocaching in the area when I noticed this one.
