We attended a Mega in Adelaide for Leap Year, and are now slowly making our way to Canberra for the Easter Mega. We called in here to find this cache as it ticks off another LGA for this state. We are using the Acronym 5 for QLD to sign the log sheets. It was a pleasant drive through that countryside, and we were pleased to find all the caches on our list. So, log signed and cache replace as found on 16th March, 2024. TFTC, locus cache.

Quick find here. The cache was just where you said it would be.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. The weather forecast was perfect for caching... and testing my new driving sunglasses... so I decided it was time to go after a collection of challenges near Bendigo that I had my eye on for over a decade. After that I decided to head off to Shepparton for a couple of challenges that have been recently placed there... stopping along the way for more caches. Not sure if this is *the place to be*... but it certainly is a nice place to stop off and look for a cache. Thanks **locus cache** for putting it here.
Great little easy find at the entrance to a beautiful lake worth checking out. TFTC
Nice and quick to find. Couldn’t log the book as we forgot our pen. Headed up now to take a look at the lake. TFTC ️
Have always seen the sign for Greens Lake, but never had been inspired to do it, thank you

Rutherglen MEGA Long Easter weekend trip. Day 7 Home time.
This year with new tools and transport on board. Bike, ladder, poles and a variety of other items to help with the cache grabs.
Puzzles were all sorted before the weekend. Making way for the finds to come.
Plans sorted for cache attack days, between ladder climbing, power trail grabs and the large amount of ad labs in the area. Not to mention the MEGA site visits and numerous other events to attend.
My stat's of finds started at 11,886 before leaving home. Let's see what the final numbers are at trips end for the MEGA.
After a full on weekend it's time to head home from the Rutherglen MEGA... there was lots done, lots seen. Thanks to all.
The last cache of my long trip. A quick grab making for a pleasant cache

Camped at Grren Lake for the weekend knocking over a few GC's in the district. TFTC.
We pulled up at gz, looked at the hint and because of the overhanging greenery it did take me a little while to find it.
Nice little hide

Thanks locus cache for a nicely placed cache while Alan and I were away for a few days catching up with friends and trialing our new/old van.
We also wanted to check out the nearby free camping area for future travels. Alan stayed in the car while I did the honours here.

Find #2730 for me. Found at 8:10 am with my dog Bonnie. When I went to navigate to this one from the Well-Built Bridge, it failed to show up on my car navigator, then consulting my handheld GPS I noted that it wasn't loaded there either. Not sure why as I had it marked for download in GSAK but ultimately it didn't really matter since the cache showed up nicely in the geocaching app so I was able to get here for a quick find using the app instead. Thanks for the placement locus cache!
I've had trouble getting to this cache due to lockdowns.
Will get there asap to assess the situation and replace if necessary.

Nice little find on my way out of Shepparton. Love the link between the sign & the name, easy find if you look in the right spot. Placed fresh piece of paper for future logs thank you!
At first I thought a piece was missing, a quick look again and it was there. Tftc
Was it the urge to go travelling?
Was it being cooped up with the Co-vid19 virus?
Was it the draw of the sunshine up north?
Was it the bite on the rod of the great Murray Cod?
Was it running out of the fine liqueurs from the Rutherglen wineries?
Whatever it was, the team dusted off the caravan and scraped off the mould, and got out of home.
After being cooped up for the last few months with Co-vid19 virus we finally got let out of the house – whoo hoo - parole! We’re free, after the police check point on the Hume Fwy leaving the Mitchell Shire checking every vehicle. And besides we needed to get back to the Rutherglen wineries as we finished all our liqueurs while locked down. OK, any excuse to go travelling. We love it. So we spent a couple of days free camping on the Murray River, having some time out, some time to re-coop, keeping warm by the camp fire and in the local wineries as well, spending our money supporting the local businesses.
Easy as find at 2:25pm, even without the GPS.

We picked up this cache as we headed toward Bendigo for a family visit. Not sure it is an actual destination, but it did reward us with a smiley token.
Our thanks to 'locus cache' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.
