We went round and round in the general area the GPS was indicating but had no luck.
Continuing my walk along here, slight scramble off the trail, but soon found the cache in the likely spot despite the thorns and debris surrounding GZ, TFTC
Took a while, one nearby tree has been split by wind and looks like it could come down anytime tftc
Out in Marshlands for a walk along the Wairau diversion. Drove down the gravel road to the gate at the start of this track. Enjoyed the walk and happy for a quick find as it was getting dark. Cache all fine. Thanks for the smiley
Had a nice walk to GZ. The cache proved to be a bit elusive. It was eventually found on the ground back where I first searched. Restored it to chest height.
Just going for a run so just had a quick look next t well have more time tks
We are staying at the camping spot nearby. After doing a bit of cleaning I decided to head out for a walk to grab a couple of caches. I turned around after locating this cache. I looked in a few pest trees before locating it. Great work on this area.
Thanks for placing and maintaining your caches

This took a bit of a hunt, with the initial weed checked, though promising, had no cache. Checked a few other weeds and got the correct one eventually! Cheers.
Ms_KR and I cruised around the coast and Wairau Bar before headiing off home. Another great day out!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

He mihi mahana tēnei ki te tipuna ko Hinepango. Tēnā! He tino teitei te harakeke ki reira. Kāore e kore he mīharo kē ki te mahi raranga. Warmest greetings to the ancestor Hinepango. Wow the flax is really tall in that place. Really good for weaving, for sure. Not the pest I was expecting so we went further than necessary and there's plenty of old man's beard around. Ehara i te Puawānanga/ not the native kind tho. Tftc
I continued on with my walk to find this second cache, before heading back.
I wasn't really sure what i was looking for here, but had no problems finding it anyway.
Thanks for setting this up

Me and my wife just started our South Island road trip since we have now retired. Quick find to start the morning. We have many more to go. The misses got attacked by a blackberry vine on the way to find the skull.
I had done plenty of walking by the time I attempted this cache so I guess I was hoping for a park and grab when I arrived here in the late afternoon. However, I enjoyed the leisurely walk. Some unexpected muggle issues meant I had to delay my foray from the track. A short search was soon rewarded with the discovery of a nicely hidden cache.
Another fruitless stagger through the forest, although the walk to get here is very cool.
Nice work...Found while stopping over before catching the ferry in the morning..TFTC
Foind in the right sort of tree with skull, after looking at the wrong tree and being attacked by rose thorns. Sad to see so much blackberry and old man's beard.
But great to see the reserve.

Quite a bit of searching and rereading of logs search, I didn't expect a real skull! I also enjoyed the miniature horses
Had a bit of spare time in the area this afternoon so went for a walk to find this one. Piles of cut down clematis vitalba along the way, some of it even starting to sprout again. Somebody has been doing a lot of really worthwhile work here! Found the cache after a few minutes of hunting around, I had to check a number of possible places. Signed log, TFTC.
Nice walk from the stopbank. Will be interesting to see the area developed. Thanks
Came back for another go as staying at the campsite. Found it this time. Skull back in place but no horseshoe.
Dad for the find. Cache damp, but surviving.
Thanks for introducing us to this walk Seagnoid! We appreciate the cache too.
Now to the beach!

It is still there! My iPhone took me to a likely pest, but reading previous logs I knew it was on the way out.... on the left. My phone was 13 metres out, but knowing how CO hides things, I thought it would still be there. TFTC (and others in the area)
Out and about collecting caches for the latest challenge "Mystery at the Museum"....
I have investigated the scene and am now finding the stolen gems.
Parked nearby and walked left along the trail before doubling back and coming to this one.
Wriggled around the tree to grab cache...replaced wee skull on top after signing.

Arrived at Hinepango early for another CITO. Enjoyed a bite of lunch and sit down before the afternoons activities. The Seagnoid arrives promptly at 1pm. Hes come to check out this cache which I had in my sights today so tag along to get this one tagged. Cheers. Now time for some work.
Along with the other young ones, we were here for the CITO and had a bit of time to fill in before it officially started so popped up to this one. We spent quite a while searching at the indicated GZ but nothing, so read a previous log about heading back to the main track and dark in a couple of times and that worked as we found it about 10m off. Signed it, returned the inner container into the outer, the correct way as requested by the CO, and replaced at the hinted height.
YAY found it!!!! We found it at ground level within metres of the skull! It's now sharing the space with a horseshoe
Wow, the beard is a lot more prolific down this end. I'm not sure if that's due to the work you've been doing down there but if it is well done. The GPS took to a place I was expecting but I couldn't find a cache there. So I retreated and followed it back in to the the exact same place. Same result. Spied another likely place on the way out and on the way there spotted the cache. A very lucky find in the end but I'll take it. One of these days I may get over for one of the CITO's but don't hold your breath. TFTC # 13,445
Bit of a tough find this afternoon with eltee291. GPS was going a little nuts in there but we tracked it down after close to five minutes of searching. Quite a few bones in the area. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache, the Seagnoid!
Found today with hingis20. Found the cache sharing the space with the skull of some varmint. Another nice day in paradise so it meant we were out and about sightseeing and caching. Hingis20 and I are from Canada and in Blenheim visiting my daughter and her family. TFTC
Quick find. Noticed that the OMB is certainly vigorous along this wetland. Unfortunately can’t assist this month but it needs plenty of manpower and I think glyphosate to get on top of it. Tftc
Yes, old man's beard is a major problem, especially the way it can climb over everything else and smother it. TFTC.
Caching for the day with Sidewaze, we opted for the parking spot between 2 caches and enjoyed the walk after a lot of time in the car. We headed for this one first and found a way in that did not cause too much damage to our legs and arms. Sadly, the GPS for Mrs SoBad did not move from 11 so it was a matter of looking. The look was stopped when Sidewaze called out that it was found - and to come and see the what was at GZ. Nice to see the Shetland ponies on the way in and out.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found with NZDi. After a self-imposed non-geocaching holiday in Golden Bay, it was time to scratch the geocaching itch again, so NZDi and I headed out this way to snap up a few caches that have appeared since the last time we cleared the area. I picked up four and NZDi picked up a couple that I already had. The effects of the holiday must have still been lingering because now I am back in the office logging the finds, I realise that I dated my logs 13/11/18, not 14/11/18.
This was the first find of the evening and we parked on Flaxmill Drive and did a few hundred metre walk to GZ. Approaching GZ we noticed the geo-trail that is starting to be formed so took it towards GZ. At GZ there was a feature within 2m of the indicated coordinates that pretty much screamed 'There's a geocache here' but there wasn't. Expandeing our search radius we soon came upon the cache and its 'pest' guardian.

We spent the night nearby. Drove to Flaxmill Road, and walked to this then the other cache nearby.
Said hello to two ponies on the way.
Thanks to Seagnoid for placing this cache.

A day of mixed activities for us, dropped off a package at one address and picked up another elsewhere, found some caches and even managed to place some to assuage the guilt (yeah, right) of a Nelson Interloper claiming a FTF in "foreign" territory.
I was surprised how extensive this 'residential' area is as we drove through it to the most practical parking spot to look for these two caches.
An enjoyable walk to GZ and we had a wee chuckle at the cache camo.
Thank you the Seagnoid.

We couldn't make it to the CITO but had to see what was being done here. A huge project indeed with Old Man's Beard and Blackberry racing for the sun against a backdrop of willows, hawthorn, thistles and untold more undesirables. The cache was found camoed by yet another undesirable and was a nice touch Thank you the Seagnoid
I too had a banishment of a beard this week. First time I used a razor in at least 5 years. Enjoyed the cache even though I overshot and ended up somewhere with wicked thorns.
Thanks once again. A lovely spot and the paddock full of miniature horses nearby was an added bonus for their children. TFTC
Wednesday has come around again, which is normally my weekly quiz night, but it's also a 3 day vortex day and I want/need to find a cache. So I decided that I would flag the quiz and not bother going and get a cache during the day instead. However, with a busy day testing at work left me with no ability to escape from the shackles of the office so I messaged mrs capperz before getting home to say I fancied a trip out this way for a walk and a couple of caches, prior to a curry takeaway - yay!
Got to the end of the nearby road and we took a walk down to the beach first up to check out the lay of the land, pun intended before turning round and finding the track starts off the little road. Decided to head to the Micro first as the light was fading and wasn't sure what the hide would be like. As we neared G Z by phone G P S I headed towards where I thought the cache would be and spotted it on the floor so picked up and rtried to get the log out, but there was no log inside. Hmmmm, strange, not like the CO and we knew we were 3rd to find. As I expanded the search I spotted the real cache and suspected the C O had dropped the first one found (this was true and the imposter has been returned to him). All good with the real McCoy and replaced as found.
A great new area to explore and some new cache finding/placing potential around here I suspect.
T F T C t S and I still top your finds as the most prolific finder.

We were wondering what we were going to do to qualify for the latest hidden creatures challenge. We have been streaking for a couple of years so our supply of caches around Nelson are starting to thin out. We decided to come over to Marlborough for the weekend to make up the numbers we needed. We had noticed there were many park and grab type caches in this area so this is where we decided to target.
The nearby CITO was the drawcard to get us into this particular area this morning. After we had done a bit of damage to some old mans beard the CO gave us permission to sign this log. So what an absolute bonus to get a shared {FTF}. Thank you the Seagnoid, we really appreciate that

{FTF} today at the local CITO.
While not a dot day or anything else of significance, I made the find of this one with the COs permission. A nice track though here, and we met some locals who had been maintaining it, and/or were keen to continue. Successful day I think, I will be back on future Sundays. TFTC tS.
