7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Had a look but if the cache is meant to be in the bush CO might need to check it is still there after its pruning.

23-Jun-19
Can the CO please check, there didn't seem to be any sign of a cache. The tree has been heavily cut back.

Yet another Wednesday wander for members of the puzzled puzzlers group. [8)] Today's members are myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats. [^] Surprise, surprise - we were NOT once again heading north towards Clare. Surprised Today we were heading roughly southwards to maybe perhaps rectify a few DNF's Cool

We got down and dirty but is looks like the bush has been heavily pruned recently and no cache could be located. Sad Bugger we are supposed to be rectifying the NDF list and not adding to it! [:(!] Blue is the new yellow it seems Wink

**Thanks Tyler0411 for the search anyway. ** Razz

Sorry about the late log,

The usual troupe of animals on our weekly Wednesday wanderings. Today heading to the southern suburbs instead of our unfulfilled plans to visit Clare.

As with logs from the others in the group. This one seems to have gone AWOL with much of the structure heavily pruned.

Another Wednesday Wandering, for a small group of Geo animals.
A Rat, Snake and Starfish ot and about on a sunny day caching.
We searched here and there, Got down and dirty.
No luck for us today.
Noticed that there had been recent pruning of the shrub.
Will have to come back.

We were surprised at the number of people at this location this morning but, thankfully, none were near close to the cache. After identifying GZ and not finding the cache, we gradually widened the search area and the cache was located about 6m away. Contrary to what has been reported in some other logs, the logbook was dry and signable. Thanks Tyler0411 for the cache.

03-Apr-19
I found it. Log book is really wet and there are bugs all through it might need to be updated

Took Nothing, Left Something
Thanks for the cache. Signed log book, a bit wet still.
Was at the oval for my sons footy training.

Mr Tardis stopped by here this morning while finding a few caches in the area. I searched for about 10 minutes and then phoned a friend to check I was looking in the right place. I ended up extending my search area, and happily I found the cache.

The logbook is very wet and I scratched my name on the back page, because my pen wouldn't write on the wet paper.

Thanks for the cache Tyler0411.

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
As I was heading back to the office spotted another one on the way. Who am I to resist a cache and a find. Headed for the area. There were workmen in the area but as others had noted it was easy to sneak up. Got down and dirty but was not finding anything. Hmmmmm..... Wandered around a bit. looking. looking. looking. Got down and dirty again and searched some more but nothing was happening. It had reached that time where I thought I just had to abandon the search and as I was walking off, spotted something out of the corner of my eye and it turned out to be the cache. Phew. Signed th3e log and replaced just a a couple of carloads of muggles drove up. turns out there was a funeral round the corner so my timing was impeccable.

TFTC Tyler0411. Perhaps it’s your birthday today ? No trouble with any bees. Easy to sneak up on this cache unnoticed.

03-Nov-18
No good if you are allergic to bees!

Found after at least one circumnavigation of the structure. Thanks for the cache Tyler0411!

This cache is not a 1.5 difficulty, this was a rather difficult find....PLUS there were millions of bees buzzing around.

After attending a nearby event, Doctor Owl, CPwanderer, gridge98 and myself targeted some nearby caches....all I can say is that Doctor Owl was on fire and once again put her hands on this cache first, and then we were on to the next cache.

Thanks so much for the cache Tyler0411! [^]

30-Oct-18
After a near by event this morning a group was formed to go and collect some caches in the local area. Dr owl, GoodLook and CP Wanderer joined forces.
An interesting place but an even more interesting spot for a cache?

30-Oct-18
Found with Dr Owl, gridge98, GoodLook, Bindi the geo pooch ………………………………. and a thousand bees!!!!!! Thanks for the hide!!!

30-Oct-18
Armed with a massive hint from a frog, Owl made quick work of this - to the amazement of her caching companions. She later helped another cacher, so applause please!

29-Oct-18
Watch out for the bees!

First for the day and it's always good to start with a find Big Grin.
Looked and looked and it was Mrs DISK that made the find [^] - no easy way to retrieve this one; so glad it wasn't wet and raining Surprised.

Thanks Tyler0411.

After another very enjoyable brekkie event headed here with JJ52 to find this new cache. Had to get down on the hands and knees and then spied it. Broken glass about a meter from the hide so be careful!! Didn’t have gloves with me to be able to remove it maybe the CO could move it as could be nasty if looking for this one in the dark. TFTC

27-Oct-18
Stopped off here with Michells&hound after a breakfast event close by. [^]
I had been here in the dark a couple of days previously, but only had a half hearted look and I can now understand why I didn't find the cache then. Red Face
Today Michells&hound got down low and the cache was soon in hand and the log stamped. Big Grin
Thanks for the cache Tyler0411. Smile

Hunted caches on my way home from work today - 5/5 found. Hunted around a bit and then did what the hint said and found it straight away. Signed log

22-Oct-18
I have been away interstate and noticed 3 new hides by the one CO Smile

This one was saved for last and boy! it was the toughest [B)]
I don't mind difficult hides coz my searching skills have been a bit relaxed of late and this one was needed to snap them back into action.

I initially was all over the shop looking for this one [:o)] My mindset was wrong and I wasn't getting anywhere fast so I sat myself down and read through some logs. had another look... still no cache, so I thought i'd try something I should have tried at first and the very sneaky hide was soon in hand and it's log was signed [^]

I loved the Biblical lines on the cards within Smile

What everyone else said. I decided to use string theory to find the cache. Some how I flunked the 1,000,000th possibility.

Thanks and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Warning this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.

Came in the dark. Used a small torch.
Scaped around down low.
Then used a bigger torch.
Gave up the subtle approach and tried the
super dooper bright as the midday sun torch...
... and there it was Big Grin
Clearly labeled !!!
Thanks for the cache Tyler0411 Cool

I came and looked. Then I walked around and looked some more. Than I got down and dirty where I first looked again. Then I PaF’d and looked some more. Then I adjusted and looked some more. Then I went back to my car and stopped looking. Then I went back for another look. Then I looked again from a different angle. Then I went back to where I first looked and looked again and there it was, right in front of my face! How did I miss that before?

Thanks for the cache Tyler0411.
