We were out this afternoon with ilook4geo and picking up some caches before it was time to head on to the event near here. This one was a nice easy find and was hidden out of sight again after the log had been signed with both names. Thanks go to Renski00 for placing this cache to be found on a hot but muggle free day.

Didn't hang around here too long today, the rain came over and I wasn't keen on having the kids as close to the water as they'd have to have been here, 2 already ended up with water over most of their shoes. Will be back in future. TFTC.

Time for another day chasing mint tins with marj01. With a predawn start we headed from the eastern suburbs out west to Penrith. We started caching at Wallacia and made our way north through the suburbs to Jordan Springs. We had lots of finds which included trads, multis and mysteries; also some dnfs that were too well hidden for us to find or weren't there. I lost count on the number of mint tins found but there certainly wasn't an oversupply. Thanks to all the CO's for placing their caches and TFTC

This one had a typical telltale of a geocacher presence. Cache was found quickly. Don’t be afraid to hide a bigger cache as it’s available to do so at this location. TFTC.

15-Feb-19
This one took longer than it should have as I initially drawn to a significant wetlands structure. Then I looked at my GPS and saw I was some distance from GZ so relocated to there, where I quickly spotted the tell tale of a cache.

Thanks for the hide Renski and for bringing me to this nice wetlands area.

Crawled around on the rocks for awhile. Will come back.

With accurate co-ords the cache was located, keeping an eye out all the time for snakes as I have seen more this year than ever before so a Christmas present this year was a new pair of anti snake bite leggings. Also I have started to carry a PLB while caching just in case.
As normal the ageing Bushfire has replaced this guy as if it was one of his.
Good luck to the next seeker and thanks to Renski00 for placing and maintaining the hide for us to find. great location.

Moved away from the most obvious place and trusted the GPS with these excellent co ordinates and soon had the cache in hand. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

#2423 Yesterday I was here but I disturbed a large blue tongue lizard which went under a rock. Also I think there was a curlew seemed to be telling me off everytime I was making my way to GZ so I called it quits.

Came back this morning and parked in the car park of the nearby oval and went for a walk around the lake. Came to this one first none of my wildlife encounters this time and a find near where the blue tongued lizard was.

With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Renski00

#4759- Out caching with thomo31 early before the heat. Parked on the other side of the lake and walked across. GPS had me on the other side of the little inlet- skipped it then spotted it from the other side. Back to sign and off to the next. Thanks

#5563 (4 of 4 today)

Decided to finish the month with a few finds. And I've not been out towards Glenmore Park for a while - and I see that a number of new caches have taken up residence.
Decided to pick out four, three of which I noted had moved in where a previous series had recently been.
My initial fourth target though was muggle central, so picked an alternate.
Got all the ones I attempted.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I initially went from my last find to *#7* in this series, but it was muggle central so I kept driving to here.

There was a father and two sons at the end of the pier, but I noticed that GZ was elsewhere, so I made my way there and saw that:
1. I was somewhat hidden by the foliage; and
2. I was right next to the cache!

Completed signing duties and replaced. Then made my way back to the car and off home.
I expect I'll be back here soon for more in this series.

Came down yesterday for a FTF, but found a Rainbow lurking about. We had a chat about the new series and caching in general, and I decided to leave this one for another day...which turned out to be today. The coords were pretty good. They wanted me in the water, which only a metre from where I found the cache. Common sense Al! I actually spent more time looking for the plastic bag, which I had dropped, than I did looking for the cache. Thanx Renski. Glenmore Park is once again alive with geocaches.
