Sharing the caching fun with ilook4geo to pick up some of the caches in and around Millicent while attending the mega event. Had a lot of fun and this one was a nice easy cache to find. Log was signed with two more names and we were one the move again. Thank you to GeoVenture2020 for putting this cache into play. It is a delight for carnivores or omnivores.

Taking a meandering way back to the Mega. A quick find in the logical place. As inviting as the tasting room was, we had to rush off for the quiz, only to find it had been postponed by an hour, so we could have stayed a while or cached on. No matter, still a lovely evening. Thank you, GeoVenture2020; cache #3792.
Day 3 of our stay in Millicent for the Mega event. Today we finished the lobster and picked up a good amount of general caches.
104 finds for today and 256 for the trip.
Quick find here, all in good condition.

Down in Millicent for the "Used 2B a Geoventure" celebration weekend.
Highlight of course was the mini mega gathering hosted by the longest serving mega committee (thanks for all your hard work guys and gals)
( Hopefully we'll be back for the big one when it's able to go ahead )
Teamed up with Sebastbat, and JEM.
Quite dark by now but we kept on going, just one, or twenty... more!
Yummy But mint goes with lamb... not beef
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache on this corner of our caching map GeoVenture2020

Stay safe out there, caches and their hidey holes can be dirty!
wash your hands, wipe down your cache gear,
sanitise, exercise, even wear a mask if hayfever season gets to you and
cache the countryside safely distanced at least a roo or an adult brown snake's length apart ! ! !
Have fun ! ! !

The great Southeast Saunter with Anymules down to the Millicent area to find caches associated with the postponed GV2020 mega. But with leave organized and accommodation booked the caching trip was not postponed! [^]
Day 3: Today we set off to get out names in all the SFE challenges (qualified or not) and then head to Carpenter Rocks. From there it was up through the Canunda National Park again to finish caches in the southern section. This coincided nicely with finishing near the night cache just after sunset.
Finding the cache was the easy part. Getting that damn earwork out of my head now...much harder. [:(!]
***Thanks GeoVenture2020 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

A weekend in Mount Gambier with sir_spectre and catching up with family and friends. We had three days and we managed to make a big dent in the many, many caches around Millicent.
Thanks to GeoVenture2020 from mogni

quick find
found with mogni leaving Mount Gambier and on the way back to Adelaide. Today's aim was to get the night cache ( in daylight if possible ( and it was ) ), as many of the higher terrain caches around Millicent plus any higher D caches if we had the time, a few more off highway stray caches and any we just happened to pass.

Day 358 ( Friday 21st ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Millicent today. A total of 7 for the day and 6534 the trip. A grand total of 16,502 caches. TFTC
With COVID-19 restrictions being eased slightly we took the opportunity to have a day caching and visiting the beautiful Canunda National Park.
We saw only one car (with no occupants) all day so social distancing was easy.
We made a cuppa for morning tea alongside Lake Bonney and cooked a BBQ near the historic Coola Outstation.
This was the first cache for the day. From previous logs it sounds like this is a place to return to in the future.
Many thanks for the hide GeoVenture2020

This was a quick drive by for us today. We found the container tucked safely out of sight and in good condition. Too hot for tasting today but there will be future opportunities.

Mr Tardis was in town for the weekend to grab a few caches and attend an event or two.
I found the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Sorry for logging 4 months late - you'd think with less caching due to COVID-19 I'd be quicker at logging online - but you'd be wrong!
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache GeoVenture2020.

This afternoon, I decided to drive around Canunda National Park, and enjoyed the various 4WD tracks around the place. It was a pretty area that I hadn't visited before, and the camp spots were very busy with it being a March long weekend.
I've heard this tasting room is pretty awesome, and so was a venue that I was hoping to bring back [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) in Easter. I had seen it promoted on South Australia travel shows in the past few months, and so never knew where it exactly was until today. This cache itself was found reasonably quickly, with the container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks GeoVenture2020 committee for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Trip to Millicent from the van in Beachport. Thought oil rig square looked interesting so geo toured our way out there. Quick drive by in good condition. Tftc
We've come down to the South East to collect the hound who has been on an extended vacation at the farm whilst we went on an overseas trip, attended the St Arnaud Mega and then 5 days in Tassie.
He is happy to have us back but suspicious that we are going to desert him again (which of course eventually we always do).
So we decided to make a weekend of the pick up and went to the SIL shack at Robe. The weekend was filled with eating and drinking with friends and a small trip to Millicent to collect the new SFE series. The plan had been to do more but of course chatting and coffee got in the way of that!
It was a lovely break away and we are already looking forward to our next trip to the South East, especially with so many new caches and series to be found.
Quick find here before heading back to the shack. TFTC GeoVenture2020

After smashing through the GV2020 Power trail in just over 4 hours with Beaker we headed out north to rack up some even bigger numbers finishing the day with 123 finds and only 2 DNFs, nearly 3 times my previous days best of 44 finds in a day.
Beaker add the cache in hand by the time I got out of the car I was very happy about this as it felt like it 2°C
Thanks for helping with my big day out.

Beta tested this one on our way around the district placing new caches. Great spot to visit with great food nearby.
Found on the way home from cockle collecting at the "back beach". Had more luck with finding a cache than I did collecting cockles.

I headed down to the south-east with gridge98 on a quick, two-day trip to find a few caches.
We had some rather mixed weather, with sunshine, rain, hail and wind at different stages, but most of the time it was good weather for caching.
We also had rather mixed results in terms of caches. There were some interesting hides in some terrific places; some along the beaches, some in the pine forests and others at various scenic or interesting locations. We managed a few lucky FTFs, but also a few disappointing DNFs. But all in all, it was a great trip.
A quick park and grab as we were passing.
Thanks GeoVenture2020 for the cache.

Catching up on our logs, we found this exactly where the GPSr was telling us to go which is always handy.
We have dined at the Full Blood Mayurra Station, and highly recommend it for something unique and educational at the same time. We didnt see any of the tasty cattle today, guessing they are tucked up safely.
Thanks GeoVenture 2020 for bringing on a lil tour of the area for the purpose of a cache or two.
Found, Signed and replaced.
