# 9258 It's my last full day in Adelaide. I felt the need to get out of town again, so I headed south to Victor Harbor, stopping on the way at Wilunga. One of the best things about today was that there was a cool breeze blowing. Spent some time on Granite Island but didn't see any penguins. Victor Harbor is a lovely place and seems geared up for big crowds of tourists. Luckily that was not today No ivy any more. Thanks mogni for the Traditional Cache
Found with gridge98 whilst in the area doing some caching apologies for the late log. Thanks for the cache
I started this series a few years ago and found a few along the way, today I returned to finish off the rest that were yet to be found, some of the older ones as noted could do with a fix up This weekend Courtneyrose_ and I headed down to Victor Harbour for the Victor Harbour 10k fun run, whilst here we did parkrun plus find a few caches around the area yet to be found. Thanks for the cache
This months challenge and the price of fuel will send us broke, kinda pleased when the challenge is finished. We have a friend who is a devout Essendon fan and we are glad we didnt know him in the year 2000, he would have been impossible to be around with a premiership under their belt. Not being fanatical footy fans has meant we have kept our sanity as it seems so many footy "People" are insane when it comes to being sensible aand realistic about their footy team.
Thanks mogni for the cache, had to wait for the tree checkers from SA Network Power to move on but soon had the cache in hand. TFTC TNLNSL

Needing a quick 5 finds to set up my 5000th find for tomorrow. Easy and quick. Left a swag item. TFTC
Hint helped, thanks Mogni for bringing us here, maintaining the cache and the series tftc
After very recent abdominal surgery we were hoping to make a start on the latest Signal Labyrinth souvenirs.
We decided to head for this series of caches but were very picky where we stopped to ensure not too much stretching or scrambling was required
Many thanks for those we attempted today mogni

Staying in Victor Harbour so decided to attempt this series. What a great concept. Tyftc
Found on a two day blitz of the area to get back on top of the growing number of un-founds for me. I was a bit concerned when I approached GZ, but the cache was soon in hand, Phew!

Easy find thanx to hint. Home owner came home just as we were getting into the car parked near his driveway and wanted to know what we were up to. We explained we were geocaching. He remarked that he had seen other sneaking around near there from time to time. He said it's been there a while. I looked it up and said yes since 2019. He seemed to be satisfied and wished us well. I do hope it remains where it is. Thanx

Out on the long weekend, looking for some new caches and some that were DNF. After a quick search we had this one in hand, signed the log and moved on to the next one. TFTC
Drove down this way with Purrfect Di & Jack.
Combined a relaxing spa getaway with a bit of caching fun
Found your cache along the way.
Cats aren't really into football. The balls are a funny shape and far too heavy.
Appreciation goes to mogni for placing and maintaining this one

This cache was found and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or sometimes with just plain old dumb luck!

Stay safe when caching. Watch for snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only ones you share and pass on
2020 turned into 2020won, and 2020too is on the way! 2020free should see us through
Still important to observe social distancing when possible, (150 nano caches apart should do it)
Still important to wash your hands (always has been really [:o)]
Still very important to look after each other and take precautions & get checked out for even the tiniest sniffle or cough, or unexpected headache! [8)] [B)]
Still even more important to get some fresh air and exercise while we can, so get out and cache the country!
Thanks so much to all those placing caches out and about away from the city crowds,
keeps our game safe and interesting
[:o)]

7years of full time travelling and we have only been to Victor Harbor once when we were staying in Kuitpo Forest in 2014. Time for a longer stay this year. Yesterday we were riding about on the train.
Just a day at the van today so we ducked out to find a few caches before lunch today.

The team headed off to Adelaide for a wedding for a couple of weeks in the caravan, exploring Victorian and South Australian country side, with many campsites to stay at, and many more caches to find along the way. Thanks so much to the CO's maintaining these for us to explore.

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled to Victor Harbor and Goolwa primarily to attend the community celebration event, but also to kayak a few of the island caches. Conditions were forecast to have some swell but minimal wind, and so plans were made in the morning before the winds picked up. Following the lunch event, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I then visited a few miscellaneous geocaches along the coast, finishing up with a muddy wade to another island cache.
This cache took a little to find, and I thought the coordinates were slightly out, but I listened to the hint, and searched within that to eventually yield the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@mogni](http://coord.info/PR1NT8Z) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Being wee Brisbanites I knew we would get caught somewhere with our pants down if we were having cuddles in a place we shouldn’t or didn’t know what was happening in the AFL. On the plane flight down I read the Sunday paper to catch up on all the news.
On Monday our wine tour guide gave the me the “quiz”. I think I passed with flying colours assuming those colours are red, busted red and filthy red. I knew the scores from the weekend but not the players that starred. Coming to South Australia I researched the local teams but when I mentioned that I hadn’t been to a Brisbane Bears game, things went pear-shaped. tftc

Nice day so thought I'd get out and find a few caches, Including kicking a few goals of this footy series. TFTC mogni.
Today my target was to hit my next big milestone. I also wanted to get 10 Freddo caches, I am attempting to get to 350 Freddo finds by the end of the year. I think I got 8 in the end, 10 was a bit too ambitious given all the other things that needed to be done today. My list tells me I still have 360 odd to find so a long way off ever being anything near Freddovarna.
I did however make it to 9000 caches and had a nice day out. Saw lots of wildlife including a ginormous bull. The weather was a bit weird but definitely much better than yesterday.
Managed to make my on time arrival at Marion shopping centre at 3.30pm if only I had all the day light hours for caching....
So once the Freddo business was out of the way (this took up most of my caching allowance) I headed to Mogni territory, I think I hit 100 Mogni finds today.
It was good to pick up the rest of the AFL Premiers series today. Several were missing last time I did them, some I couldn't find, some had been archived. Today all were found relatively quickly in excellent condition. Liked the tape jobs! TFTC mogni

Today we headed to Victor Harbor to cache. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks mogni for this cache and the AFL Premiers series.
Took longer then it should have but found eventually amongst all the annoying ants.

As Peter Plus once sang -
Didn't we have a lovely time - the day we went to Victor.

Yes I did, with Anymules and sometimes Muff1 and later mogni. Luckily no car problems and quite a few caches found.
First order of business was to go back and get all the replaced or new additions to the AFL premiers series. My GPS took me to the right of the cache but Anymules had no problems and soon had the cache in hand.

Neither hubby or myself follow AFL so unfortunately none of the colours have any meaning for us. But we did get to see some great views from some of the caches. Some were a little hard to find and some really easy. Some you needed to work out how to access the cache container others were 'just there'. SL TFTC

As it was forecast to be very hot at home I decided to go for a drive down to Victor Harbor to find mogni's new caches and a few others that I happened to drive past. [^]
Kept bumping into CPwanderer, clare007 and Gizmos Gang and met up with them and Mogni for lunch before continuing on.
Had a good day and found all the caches I looked for and really enjoyed the air conditioned car between caches.
It was a case of deja vu having completed all of this series not long after it was first published. It is good to see the series revived again. [^]

Happened to be west of here doing some beach walks when published. Decided to come here instead of going further west to Deep Creek...
Found all easily with good co-ords and the bigger ones well stocked.
Dropped my *FTF* geocoin through for a visit too.
Thanks for placing and keeping this series going Mogni
