Always thought this was the odd one out in the series as I couldn’t go any further so decided to archive it. Thanks everyone!

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the NSW Southern Highlands for a short midweek caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Mittagong Caravan Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore the areas around Mittagong, Bowral, Mount Gibraltar, and Box Vale. Hoping to collect a variety of cache types, including some Earthcaches and Wherigos and previously solved Puzzle caches, and to also complete some of the Adventure Labs in the area.

No luck for us at this one. Searched for a short while amongst all of the vegetation, but failed to locate the cache. On to the next one.

Found. Not too difficult! Thanks for replacing the lost cache. Now we can try and complete the series!

So much flood damage, don't think this is here anymore.

We had a bit of a look, but with so much obvious flood damage we weren’t hopeful. A quick look at the previous logs and it’s seems the last few felt the same. With StylishParasite

Had a fairly decent poke around, to no avail. As others have said - lots of flood debris here. Thanks anyway

Recent flood damage and lots of debris in the gps spot. Needs maintenance please.

Didn't find this one, but to be honest we didn't look too long. Looked like the area had been flooded recent and we wondered if the flood might have claimed it. Could be still there but in the end we moved on with no find.

GPS kept bouncing around but after some bushwhacking finally found s it. Damp.

Wet logbook but no pen, muggles around but got in there safely

I am taking a road trip to Sydney to visit my daughter and picking up caches along the way.

Nice cache TFTC

Starting off the geoventure with my partner in crime Mizcupcake today nice and early. We're here in the Mittagong area and enjoying the great weather. The 20th find us for today and we've only had 2 dnfs so it has been a good day. We were enjoying the cherry walk and picking up caches on the way on this lovely route. This was a quick and easy find the we both signed and replaced. Now off on our walk to the next one. TFTC!

Littl3Vix and I have decided to hit up the Southern Highlands for our big geo adventure today. We have a big day planned, Bowral and surrounds is the perfect place for us, many caches and many cache types! Plus, who can forget that its EarthCache weekend? So away we went!

Such a lovely park here! We enjoyed the scenery while waiting for muggles to pass but once they did, it wasn't too hard for us to find. Thanks for the cache and the walk!

Staying in Moss Vale for a couple of days and finding some of the many caches and AL's here and about.
Searched under, over, etc with no luck for us.

Took a bit of searching. Log needs a plastic ziplock to keep dry TFTC

In the Bowral area for a few days and today decided to take a wander along the Cherry Tree Walk to get a little exercise and for me to pick up a few caches.
Took a few minutes - mainly due to having suspend searching while muggles walked past.

It was time to take a break from driving and to stretch the legs, so I went for another of this series. There were a few muggles on the path this morning. I arrived at GZ and started searching. After some minutes I checked the hint and changed tactic. Eventually I spotted something different and with further investigation I had CIH. I decided to sit down nearby to sign the log and then I had to wait a bit for the passing traffic to clear before replacing and heading back to the car. TFTC.

TaurusSix and I came back to this one given some nearby muggles. When they were gone we found it quickly.

Quick find thanks

Tackling the current challenge, mizmaz decided a road trip was needed and the highlands was our destination.

Chasing Museum clues around the Highlands with kea26 today, finally got around to ticking off the Cherry Tree series. With time at a premium to get as much done in the area for the challenge as possible, ended up driving to closest access points making the series more a trail of PnGs than a walk. Spoiler photos and a recurring theme eventually located the hide.

Having negotiated a 4-day weekend I took the opportunity to head to the highlands for a spot of geocaching. Most of my finds for the day were done on the bike and with such good weather there was no better way to get around.

Was soon knocking these off with quick succession. A great morning for a ride. Hint didnt help here

18,253. Headed up the Hume with minniek today to try out the new Wherigo's near Bowral.

After a successful raid on the Mansfield Reserve Wherigo's, we had time just for one more before heading back to host our CITO in Goulburn. We missed #6 in this series as it wasn't published when we did the rest. Today we knocked off this last remaining cache. Took a few minutes poking around before the cache was finally uncovered.

A rare kid-free weekend, so caching we shall go....ok, after a bit of a sleep in. Fitzy_1965 & I headed up to Bowral to do the new Wherigos today.

This cache wasn't published when were last up here so fixed that today having already completed the rest of the walk.....it took us a while but just as we were about to give up, fitzy had a look in a place we hadn't already searched.....Yay!
