I had planned with green cordial to grab some caches at Cooby. So I decided to start at the Cooby Dam reconstruction multi. I really should have checked a map as there is no way to access the other side. Oh well just means Ill have to come back. This cache was a quick find. I was surprised at the size given its close to the road and without much cover. I placed some more cover over the cache but is still easy to access and find. Thanks for maintaining this one.

We were in the area for a Rural Safari event and stayed a bit longer to visit for the first time the Cooby Dam and to get some more caches. We found this cache, it needed a little tree climb, and signed the log. Tftc HippyDonna

Spending the day showing Beardman75 the sights of Highfields and Cooby Dam.
We’ve never driven down to this part of Cooby dam, nice to see water in the dam.
Quick find of the cache

I spent the day caching around Highfields and Cooby Dam with Davinells. We removed the wine gums as food in a cache is a bad idea. Thanks for the cache HippyDonna

After the multi find I thought I may as well knock this one over too. This is quiet stretch of the dam here. All good with this one. TFTC HippyDonna.

On a camp at Reflections, aka Camp Cooby, needless to say I seized an opportunity to walk over and grab this one.
Cache is in beautiful condition although a couple of branches have fallen here and there. I re-covered it well and hope it lasts.
An FP for a great cache in a great spot.

With nothing better to do today, I’ve come for a drive up the mountain to collect some solved puzzles, caches with a particular attribute and any others that I step over on the way…

After a DNF at Wired, I was a little more determined here… that and a big cache container made for a quick find… and here I was hoping to stay off the dirt roads today….

Tftc…

**Feeling Good Lyrics (Feel Good by Cy Grant 1965)**

Birds flying high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by you know how I feel.

It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life for me yeah

It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life for me
Ouh
And I'm feeling good Smile

After yesterday's 53 finds we had an unencumbered and refreshing night's sleep at Yarraman Caravan Park.
Up early to snare a few more smilies before heading back down the mountain.
#3 of 18 found today but we sure covered some kilometres! Surprised

A nice quick find while coughing up dust! Surprised
A well stocked cache container.
Not sure about Pining for Water Views? [?]
I'm Pining for **WATER** at the moment.
The plumbing needs a good clean flush out from end to end! Big Grin
The dust out here just penetrates everything and everywhere! Sad
Made our mark & replaced as found.

TFTC HippyDonna Smile

Left Brissie early to head up the range for the event at Highfields this arvo, stopping for a few target caches along the way. A muddy road in after today's showers, but a quick find at GZ.

Goombungee Day 2
Camp at the Goombungee showgrounds for a couple of days.
Todays trip was into Highfield out to Cooby Dam & return.
After 5 caches we realised we had a flat tyre so had to make a detour to have a puncture repaired.
We travelled to many new & interesting places, many dirt roads again today.
Thanks for placing this amazing series HippyDonna

Almost missed it

Came here along with SaintsMadHouse to give this cache some love. We really enjoyed the drive and continued on until almost the end. The dam is in need of more water but we know it got some this last Sunday and more rain is expected in the next week. We appreciated the play on words with the cache name and made a quick find. Thanks for the placement HippyDonna. It’s a great drive.
Cheers and happy caching!

Out and about before work to find a cache or two to fill in a spot in the calendar. First stop for me and after one wrong turn I was finally on the right road and heading straight for GZ. A nice find with everything AOK with this one. TFTC HippyDonna

10-Feb-19
It is time to go caching again and the incentive for this day of fun was to attend an event in Toowoomba at 1200. 24 on my list today starting around the Cooyar area. I have 11 between Nanango and Toowoomba to find then there are have 9 in Toowoomba that I want to tackle and that leaves Mt Peel and three others for another trip. Then there are 4 on the way out to Leyburn for that multi.

Left Nanango at 0545 and arrived at this one at 0830 . Found a very safe spot to park and went for a short walk towards GZ. Good hide. TFTC HippyDonna

06-Feb-19

After a 5 day weekend away camping and caching I am back in town ... and I need to top up a calendar date. Razz Who would of guessed[?] Smile
Road works have started out towards the first cache I headed to so there is MUD everywhere along the road ... and over/under my car. Sad
AND ...... So, now, here I am ... in the rain ... searching among the dripping trees ... Surprised
Just another day out geocaching. Big Grin
And i dropped off a TB.
Thanks for the cache.

Wow my phone was busy pinging away this afternoon, but a series of unfortunate events (you know, work meetings, training, work itself...pffft!) kept me from exploring let alone solving the new puzzles that had been published. Still, as I was heading home I decided to duck past and find this cache, and I was pleased to be first to find it. My safety work strappy sandals protected my tootsies from any spikey things, but I did startle a jumpy thing. The little, fluffy tailed bunny kind. Smile

Thanks for the cache, HippyDonna!
