Great place for an event. Despite the drizzle, it was a great turnout of cachers and I enjoyed chatting and meeting with others. Well done to Sunset62 on your first event and for making sure I got there. Thanks for organising.

Like bears out of hibernation, we decided to show our faces for the first time for the year. Great to see old and some new faces today. Great venue in Buninyongs gardens too. Thanks sunset62 for hosting.

Despite the drizzly weather and Chunk not being 100%, we weren't going to miss this event for anything as we were so looking forward to catching up with the host. We even managed to find a handful of caches with Explorer Nan beforehand. A good turnout in a lovely location. Congratulations Dawn on your first event. It was a lots of fun and a great vibe. What a great event! To be honest, I wasn't sure whether I was going to get here. Although I visit Mum in Ballarat almost every Sunday, the event started at the time when I usually leave to head back to Bendigo with the kids. I prefer not to get home too late, but I also like to meet up with other geocachers, so after finding some geocaches in Learmonth earlier in the afternoon I got back to Mum's for a coffee and thought, "let's do it!". Leaving the kids with Mum, I arrived here a little early but there were already several familiar faces gathered here and it wasn't long before more arrived. I was pleasantly surprised by the big turn-out and enjoyed seeing some new faces and chatting with geocachers I hadn't met before today. Pity about your voice Sunset62 but you did an amazing job with your first event regardless! Thanks so much for the prize I won too! Funny, I don't think I've ever won a thing at work raffles, but I've already had my name drawn at geocaching events several times so clearly I have better luck with geocaching! Thanks, too, to those who let me take their photo. Thanks so much for organizing the event Sunset62 - had a ball as always!

While heading home from the youngest team members first soccer season of the season we were in the area and couldn't resist joining a group of familiar and new faces, we haven't been able to attend a event in a long time, thanks for the fun, hope you feel better soon

Thanks for the event - I could only pop in briefly with the kids as we had to get home. Thankfully I was there to win a prize though which will come in handy!
