Took us a while because there were a few muggles on the track on such a lovely day. Found it eventually though! TFTC!
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up at the NZMCA Niagara campsite for a couple of days, exploring in & around the area … we went for a bit of a drive this afternoon & thought it would be rude not to check this cache out … found with no issues, log completed & cache returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,198 for us.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on our first full day in Invercargill. We had come to this lovely (and busy) bush reserve to do an Ad Lab waypoint, so thought we might as well complete the circuit as well.
This cache was a harbinger of things to come. In the thick bush, both GPSrs struggled, even SW's very reliable one and they took us hither and thither. Best to ignore the GPSr for this one and the hint (which is a tad misleading if you are trying to pinpoint GZ) and just use geosense. We found the cache on the other side of the track from where both GPSrs favoured.
Log book a bit wet but we managed to glean the required numbers and scrawl our names. TFTC.

#20740. This one took a bit of tracking down (and was the only one of "song" caches on the loop track that we found). We thought it likely that the hint was not meant in its usual sense, and that turned out to be right. Good to finally locate this one. TFTC.
Cool hide! Didn't sign log as we didn't have a pen but we do have photo evidence of being there. TFTC
Didn't find too many of the hint objects and what I did find didn't reveal any caches. Had a look at the multi book out of curiosity so I have that to work on along with the puzzle so hopefully I'll be coming back another time.
A nice quick find thanks. Made me smile, so worth a Fav Point, Cheers.
Ms_KR and I are on the road to Southland to finish off the Southern PW GeoTour. Today we cruised around Invercargill. The place has changed a bit since we used to live there in the 80's, but then again it is still recognisable.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Out for a walk after a full day of work in Invercargill. Had a previous visit in the dark but no luck. Today enough light when I arrived and found after a bit. Can see why I didnt spot it in the dark last time. Not what I expected. Thanks for the cache.
*Found on a nice day going from cache to cache with woolwood9.*
We soon had the container located. SL: **tm/ww NZ**
Thanks for putting this out for us to visit!
First on our walk tonight, very tricky.
Raining a bit, but not too bad!

I have several Johnny Cash CDs that I have belting out on a road trip interspersed with The Boss and some more mellow ones depending on my mood. Round and round here looking at the options. Enjoyed the find a lot - have a favourite forthat and all the neat memories this place has brought back today. TFTC # 16,354
3 sets of eyes could not spot this one and there goes the mystery cache but at least the kids learnt its the hunt not necessarily the find
Loving this bush walk. And this tree is awesome. Left calling card here. Cheers. Fav for the great tree time.
Tuesday 27 October. Checking out Invercargill again today. Lets go Toby!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Tftc. Good place to walk the dog. A little bit tricky to find as the compass was playing up. Hint not much help.
This took a while to find, for a start I was on the wrong side, came back out walked up a bit and by instinct walked to the right tree and soon spotted it, tftc
Cache 180 CHEEKY avenged this DNF today as well after taking some pics to study txt at home to solve the multi close by I thought I might as well grab this one on the way past . not what I was expecting to find! GREAT HIDE T4TC gets a fave from me ️
Searched for about 10 minutes but couldn’t find anything even looking at anything resembling a fork. Will try another day️
Had major trouble pin pointing location compass kept bouncing me around a lot will try again at a later date ️
We had a good idea what we were seeking, and it didn't take too long to find it, although for us this fun cache was about 10 metres south of the coordinates. Our coordinates were S46 25.879 E168 25.511. A favourite from us. TFTC
**Found on our February - March tour around the South Island. Logging back home in Auckland in Lockdown isolation.**
Travelling from Gore to Invercargill today, targeting mainly TMGT caches and solved puzzles.
We spent a bit of time in this beautiful Bush Reserve. This was the third and final cache needed for the puzzle, so we were determined to find it. Took quite a bit of looking, and I guess the hint was pretty accurate - just not what we had been looking for! Very pleased to get the last numbers needed. TFTC

Second time looking for this one with a different companion and still didn’t manage to find it. My GPS was all over the place though so it was difficult to know where to look. But we had a lovely walk, thanks.
Together with TEMBO! I had a really interesting geocaching-trip today. We could find some geocaches, met some locals and had a great talk to them.
Concerning this geocache I want to say thanks because we had much fun in searching and finding this geocache! The cache made our trip even more interesting!

Tftc. Bit of a hunt around. I wandered what the muggles thought of me and the dog fossicking in the forest?? Many a strange looks I got. But all worth it when I forked it!!
Today me and the boys headed off to find the caches we left behind the previous time we visited the bush. Previous time we did not had cellphone reception, but fortunately today we came prepared. The cache took us a while to locate as the GPS was jumping around all over the place. Thank you for placing this cache.
Thought we’d go for a cache after work. Original idea was in another town, but didn’t feel like a good option after work. Thought let’s do the closest solved puzzle, but cubs were on in the hall. Maybe a walk in the bush is in order? Plenty of fuel, but how much phone battery? Better enlist the help of the the newest geofone - torch works, and cache found (still dry on the inside). Thoughts now turn to dinner, maybe we’ll just walk in and get some fish n chips. Thanks for the cache and smilie TT.
Yay found it. Out with Wombat1234 trying to get in 500 metres of Lizzie exercise. Lizzie enjoyed the tracks and all the new smells and sights. We got to gz and the cache took a while to locate with lots of stumbling around looking at all the trees but we got it in the end. Thanks Tuitigger.
I walked this way... then that way to pick up the caches needed for the final walk. More like a jog this way and that with puppa who was going stir crazy at home. Sorta had an idea for the final and yup after checking the logs it was clear I was on the right path. My offsider Granville86a and I were rummaging in the bush for the final I was just about to give up when I looked in the right direction could have easily missed it, Yay! tftc for the series TT
I was driving past and saw some cache icons appear on the screen of my in-car GPS. So, I parked where there were a good number of vehicles already and soon got an understanding of why this was a popular area. I headed towards this cache first and soon noticed problems when my GPSr showed my line of travel to be quite different to the track on screen. So, I wasn't surprised to walk past the cache site without apparently getting close to it. When I backtracked, I got closer but it obvious I wasn't going to track down this cache using the conventional approach. I had a think about other information that was available to me and noticed something of interest. I went there with a sense of hope rather than expectation and was delighted to soon see an object one doesn't expect to be in such locations. Unfortunately, this was the only cache in this park that I had time for today so hopefully I will have the opportunity to return.
Day 2 of my hunt for celebration souvenirs. Third for the day, and with the phone gps playing up wondered if I'd end up way off. I did a little bit - showing 2m at the line which soon bounced back up to double digits. Back tracked, reread logs, spotted something likely. Lots of hint objects - some too high, some too low, some empty, but one just right! And unlike Goldilocks I didn't break anything or fall asleep.
Came across an interesting felling tree - I wonder how many others of this type are a tually multiple trees grown into each other.
Thanks for the smilie Tuitigger.

Usually the long loop route taken around Seaward bush is the cache trail, looking in while going past at the FTF Multi I got while it was still a PMO and kick the multi WP back into the hide when it drifts to the top of the fallen log. Sometime ago I had a good laugh when a muggle looking for his dog found the final and signed his visit in the book. Seaward bush has just got that little bit more saturated with the available zones chopped down to one, or maybe two free places left for other caches. This hasn't diminished the number of runners and dog walkers who are sharing the bush walks with cacheri returning for more published caches. Stopped at the right place this time in relation to the multi WP and final and started the search. Two goes at finding this cache. First attempt when it was on the other side of the track and I hadn't gone far enough off the track! Chose the most affirmed and easiest option and PAF with a quickly returned reply that I had to go further off the track! I found the fo#^ing F&@* cache 20mts off the F#&)ing track and got whipped in the legs with f$@ing bush lawyer and signed the log while the 'other' thing was hanging in the hide. A little while later watching the logs and ho ho the CO could not find his own cache. An apologetic message was received that he had found it eventually and moved it closer to the track on the other side. While passing by from the other new caches, the F*$)ing cache was found again, slightly more exposed than the original hide but not visible from the track. Thanks for the F@%&ing cache TT. **Carnival 3pt**
Took awhile but eventually tried the other side of the track to where I thought it was and yah . Filling in my dot days with some of the new caches out here . Will be back on Monday for the next one
Thanks TT for getting me on my bike for another smile

Since I got ftf in the original place decided to do the extra walk and do the loop while getting walk of life and go past and find the new place. Now there is no need to fight webs to get. Tree was creaking in the breeze.
Mrs. Hazzer messaged asking if I wanted to go for a walk to find the new caches, so off we went. The sun was shining and by the time we emerged on the other side it was shaping up up to be a ripper day. My co- ords were a little off, however Mrs. Hazzer's weren't and she walked straight to it. Nice and quirky. TFTC
Didn’t think I could cope with an Annielin adventure so I “fork” I would need a caching buddy.
Messaged Searchwisely set up a time & what a perfect day for caching. Didn’t seem to take long to get to general area as we were chatting all the way there. SW co ords were going one way & mine the other. Cache was soon in hand, log book retrieved, signed & returned.

Coordinates changed to:
S 46° 25.872 E 168° 25.511

I went to update the coords tonight, but it took me half an hour to find the cache. It wasn't my intention to get people lost. Have moved closer to track to keep people safer.

So. Another Tuitigger special huh.... sigh....
Thought I'd try beat the rush on Tuesday... seeing as someone was on school camp, so i thought "goody", a slight chance for a ftf by myself...
What a forking fail. It was raining, i was in my work clothes, i didn't have rain coat with me...
But off i set... and off i was..i did the typical (dare i say it),woman thing, turned around in what i figured was gz, and then lost the track... fork it!
So after about 20 minutes of mild worry, i finally was like found it!!!
Yeah, the track, not the container!!@!
So off back to the ranch, dripping wet and feeling sorry for myself.
Stripped off when i got in the door and had a warm shower. I left the ftf for icebergs.
So Friday comes around, fish n chips for tea, no knives and forks for me!
Let's go get this forking cache...
At the gz, again i turned around three times in squirkles( squashed circles), and lost the track. But with the reassuring voice of dsi and the flash of a headlamp i wasn't too worried...
Found myself sitting on my butt on several occasions, waiting for gps to settle, while looking for the container... so why not take a photo...
Finally, forking Finally i hear a FOUND IT.... yes, the container was located and were the 3rd to sign log.
Then when asked which way out to the track, i promptly started heading in the wrong way...
Fork it!!

After work tonight it was my turn to cook tea ,so after I got home with the two course meal I cooked .... Yes fish and chips.
The forks can be put away as this one is finger food!
After tea I said to annielin let's go see if we can find out where you got lost, and find the cache .
So on with the shoes and away we went.
Got to the gz zone and left the track .
So after a bit of a search I got the GPS to toe the line as it had more bounce than a trampoline park.
Now that the GPS and I are in line with each other we set to work.
All this while keeping a close eye on one cacher busily get lost .
After a minute or two I spotted something that was not like all the others .
Yes this will do so a call to the lost one to come and have a look at the hide before the log was retrieved.
3rd to sign and return.
I then asked the lost cacher which way to the track and got a 'this way'. I am glad my bush skills are very good ...
The lost cacher would have had us walking a line less traveled .
So back on the track and homeward bound.
Great hide tuitigger

Went looking for this yesterday after work and also after a bit of rain. So looking close to the 10m from track line did a good search and getting wetter and hungrier gave up the search to return.
Returned after tea tonight armed with a torch as in the bush was needed to look in the dark places. Extended search then saw a silver glint all set to comb a possum going by. Then the nervous un-rolling of the log and wholllllllaaaa FTF.
Log signed at 2030h and walked out and the sun was still up. It's more like 18m from track. Tftc
