Very clever! What a well camouflaged cache! Who would have thought. Thanks for the nice and easy grab! #431! Dropped off a trackable !
Thanks! Our first one like this! Its all in perfect condition, thanks for the effort you put into placing this
Had to pick a cache for my 2000th, so looked at all the caches in the local area with lots of favourite points, then saw this one! Given I work in a hospital (though not this particular department), it seemed only fitting to make this #2000. Once at gz we spent a bit of time waltzing along the nature strip, but eventually saw something that looked a bit out of place! Glad to have the gate to open to make it easier to reach this one, though I'm pretty tall so could have just about managed it. Thanks for setting up this cool cache! TFT-2000th-C ^_^
1 am so glad the cache owner was beside me for this one. Front yard caches are nightmares for me. As I had taken crusty for a drive, I could see the cache before I had parked. But his instructions were rather essential for the attempt. What a great idea. Gets a favourite from me. Tftc. Tnln.
Thank you for the great cache were visiting from Cairns so this is a fun little hide we I fortunately dont have a pen but heres a photo for proof
Found, and retrieved with a bit of help from the CO. I would have struggled a bit with this one being somewhat vertically challenged. Nice camo helps it to hide in plain sight. TFTC
Found the playground cache nearby with the Geopup and saw this one with a bunch of favourite points and decided to go for it before heading home out of the fog. Definitely a good choice - great hiding place, and very secure. Loved it! Off to warm up! TFTC
Love this one, no bruce for a visit but a cute spider friend was guarding the logbook
Nice quick and easy park and grab one of the better ones of these we have seen tftc
Back down the mountain now and I spied an interesting cache and thought why not! I had to go through the gate to collect the find. The dog from next door didnt even know I was there! Thank you Crustyvarmint for placing and maintaining ICU for us to find today.
A quick find today, with no one around. We came prepared with some height assistance. A very clever placement Crustyvarmint.I did not CU, but found the log to sign. Maybe you did see us! FP for the idea.
A very nicely constructed host and very cleverly and unobtrusively displayed.A favorite point coming your way.First thoughts for Mrs Riddell was the obvious versus Intensive Care Unit..what do you expect from a health professional!TFT Very clever Cache
Eye spy with my little eye, lots of muggles passing by...The party next door seemed to endand as people waved to their friendsI tried to look like I belongedand that I wasn't doing anything wrongso I changed tack and employed a confident approachand spiffy- helped to coachthe cache lid was held on tightbut when we had the angle just rightit was easy to openand soon we signed with a penthanks for the cool ICU cache!
With the enjoyment and fun last Saturday with the JuzzMagic caches KristysAdventures, Snips and Co and myself headed back out here to finish off the current ones even though we knew some others were coming. Of course they then got published just after we got back home! Snips and Co joined us for a little with the geodog but after completing half a dozen or so decided to leave us to continue by ourselves. After a lunch break we headed here and I soon worked out we didn't need to go into the Intensive Care Unit and after waiting for a couple of muggles from the party next door to head off we soon the the cache open and the log signed. A favourite from me.Thanks Crustyvarmint for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
We walked around to here after finishing our lunch at the Montrose Community Playground and also finding this CO's other cache ("Power of One"). Our caching friends who accompanied us were scratching their heads thinking they had been here sometime in the past but just could quite remember when. Anyway after I spotted what I thought was the cache and pointed it out they said: "Oh yeah, now we remember" which confirmed my suspicion. So after signing the log and returning it to the "container" we headed back to Kilsyth to continue searching for the rest of JuzzMagics caches we had yet to find. Another great cache and another favourite of mine!TFTCPS: I wonder where Crustyvarmint lives? (Wink, wink.)
Needed a hand retrieving this one, very amusing though but loads of muggles around enjoying the good weather so stealth was required.TFTC TNLN
Really cool one just didnt get to open it because trying to keep minimum noise due to a dog next door
You may not have seen me but I'm sure you were warned about my presence by the alarm dog next door. I absolutely loved the hide! Very cool and of course deserving of another favourite. TFTC
Nice hide. We had all the neighbourhood dogs greeting us today. Thanks for the fun and yes we did open the gate to reach, but left everything back as we found it.
Third and final day of Chook's visit to Melbourne and she had enough time for a quick dash around the Montrose area for a few more caches before heading back home. Pulled up and instantly worked out what the cache was, despite Chook's nursing background that might have led her otherwise. However she had great difficulty getting the opening mechanism to budge, despite Bruce's offer of help. Notified the CO who graciously responded soon afterwards. A definite favourite point from us. TFTC Crustyvarmint.
A very pleasant, if somewhat damp, walk around Montrose with my faithful giant Geogroodle (Bear) today.
We had a quick look here on the outward leg of our walk and found the spot but I struggled a little to access the cache with one hand (the other holding the lead). I was probably a bit tentative too, as residential property caches always feel a bit odd.
On the return leg we stopped in again and I tethered Bear to the gate. Two hands did make things easier and the business was quickly completed. Neat hide (have a favourite point)!
As we were leaving Bruce next door said a spirited hello to Bear, who went into excited play mode. They sniffed each other under the fence and on we went.

One for the tall people but we managed Definitely had to enter the property though. ICU!
I was looking for caches with 10+ favourite points and only about 6km from this cache, of course I had to go get it. I knew the CO, who is one of my favourite geocachers, and rang him to see if he was home. I suspect he would have been upset if we didnt. After making the fun find and loving it so much that Im adding another favourite point to the tally, I rang the CO, who was home and invited us in for a cuppa and a chat. Of course we couldnt resist. We had a lovely time and spent way too much time there and the number of caches wed get today was reduced, but well worth, making our day!
I was a lovely Mothers Day to be out and about with all the other people sharing the day with there mother. I was at the chocolate place just around the corner when I saw this on did not have a smile face so had to grab it, wasn’t to sure about the dog in the yard but luckily I had some help. TFTC Crustyvarmint
Found it! Hello Bruce! Fish are friends, not food! Yes I did meet Bruce today, all be it through the fence. He barked away as I struggled with the cache. Unlatching the gate and moving it slightly to get better access, I soon had the cache in hand. A fabulous idea for a cache. Bruce makes a very good alarm! TFTC SL. I left everything as I found it. Favourite point added too ️
We met the owner of this cache who was extremely helpful and gave us some advice as we have just started geocaching.
This is the coolest cache. I wonder who lives here. I am short, so needed to increase my elevation to access the cache, and annoyed a dog in the process. It took me a while to get into the log, I have not seen a catch like this before. The dog was not impressed, so I quickly signed my name and headed off.
Having come over to Montrose for an Earth Cache, I wasn't going to leave without finding a few more caches... and with all the Favourite Points this one has, it was a *must do* as far as I was concerned.
*Bruce* certainly made sure that I couldn't find the cache without being noticed... but no one seemed to care... I suppose the locals are used to random people showing up and poking around.
Anyway, a very clever cache... easy to see why it has collected the points it has... and one more from me!
Thanks **Crustyvarmint** for the great cache.

*Cache find # 14100.*
While in the area and before heading for home, I noticed this one with a few favorite points, so I thought I should investigate.
As I was driving towards GZ, I spotted the cache, I parked and headed over, I then had to work out how to get it open while the dog on the other side of the fence was barking its head off.
A short time later I had what I needed, which was signed, I shut it down and headed on my way.
**Thanks to Crustyvarmint for placing this cache.**

Found, absolutely loved this cache, one of the best examples of creativity we have seen
Great find and put a smile on my face!
Awesome afternoon to pop past for a quick cache, and ended up meeting a few local members!
TFTC, awesome hide and I loved the creativity!

6 year old gives this cache 5*! We loved it, thank you for the creativity.
A leisurely day was spent with the ever so patient Crustyvarmint helping me with some puzzles and a quick pick up of a couple of caches. As the day drew to a close I realised I was yet to log one of Crustyvarmints caches that I knew was practically under my nose so with a bemused Crustyvarmint looking on I set about to find it. After providing him with a few moments of entertainment I finally spied the cache. Thanks for the cache, and thanks for another nice day Crustyvarmint.
Thanks for the cache crustyvarmit, I enjoyed the camouflage. Just trying to get a few quick cashes in on my way home from work this one's highly recommended, and gets a favourite from me which brings it up to a nice round 50, pretty impressive! regards from Victourer
What an awesome hide
I wonder what the neighbours think of it!

Quick find, took longer to work out how to open it though haha. Left a trackable in this very cool little cache. This one was a vertical challenge but I was able to use the fence and climb up a bit to get inside.
Favourite from me! Tftc

My geoson as at nearby appointment which gave me 45min to find nearby caches. Spotted this one straight away but struggled with stature. Bruce the dog made his presences known and was clearly trying to reach my hand. Took a while to work out how to enter the container but soon had the log signed. Thanks for the cache. Favourite point
