Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are staying at Millicent for the week, finding some of the caches we should have found if we had not been prevented from attending the 2020 Mega by Covid19. Thanks for the cache. LNCU.
.just be blind in old age. Two of us searched for a long time in what seemed to be the obvious place, and likewise indicated on Gps. Tftc
Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in last night packed the car and headed off to SA this morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border yesterday and staying at Millicent last night its now time for more LGAs and head to Wellington for my next stop.A nice park here and I checked out the memorials, a grave, a mural and the big blade as well.Crossed over the road to look for this one.Its a shame about the tourist railway as the were always enjoyable to travel on.This one was a nice quick find. Thanks whitchwayz TFTC.

This was a good find after an earlier DNF in similar area. The weather was ideal, cool breeze, sunshine so a short brisk walk was tempting. So glad I was tempted. TYFTC
At first we were expecting a dreaded train engine but we were pleasantly surprise that the cache wasn’t as we thought. A short walk and the cache was located as per perfect co ords. Thank you.
A great hide. I'm a worker on the railways in Adelaide tis great to see these old signal switches. Tftc
Found by Rebel Acts in the company of The Empire.
with it being School holidays in Victoria I had some time spare to head to Millicent where I teamed up with the Empire for a few days caching in the area, we had a fantastic time exploring the area. Today we tackled the Crayfish before chasing a few D/T combos on the SFE trail and the UNAL series, once they were done it was back into town to grab a few before trying out the local Pizza for Dinner.
This is one of the caches found today.
Thanks ho_hums for the cache.

In Millicent for a few days of caching fun! The Crayfish was the first series we wanted to complete this morning. With the cold wind keeping the crowds at bay, we were able to find all of the caches in this series without too many interruptions from the locals. With that series out of the way, we were able to chase some interesting difficulty/terrain combos with the ladder in the back of the Patrol, we smashed out the SFE series now back in Millicent for some more caches before pizza for dinner! A quick find whilst Rebel was on the phone - we made this one a little harder than it needed to be... Thanks for the cache witchwayz.

I think I am cache blind cause almost everyone else can find it but I cannot! Toot, toot, chugga chugga, big blue DNF!
Stopped off to use the loos and then wandered across here while every one was busy. A few possible locations and usually the easier they are the dumber I make them but happy to put my hand right on it today! Thanks for the cache.
Be careful there is a snake we’re the Geo catch is just wanted to let you guys know
Unable to find this one in the short time I had available. I am sure it’s there, just didn’t see it. Besides I didn’t put my hand everywhere. See pic, just under end of rail. I had a lizard helping me, he didn’t offer much advice
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Southern Cross Caching
Found at 8:39 during a fantastic extended weekend away with Shonkylogic and Southern Cross Caching. We had grand plans to complete swathes of powertrails and solved puzzles, but the weather slowed us down a bit. Even so, it was a lot of fun, and we passed my goal - to get my 9000th find
Friday, day 1, had us driving and caching from morning in Adelaide until the 6pm event in Millicent.
Day 2 focussed on the fishing series, wine bottle, and numerous other caches in that vicinity.
Day 3 was our slowest, due to the worse weather, but still a lot of fun.
Day four, after doing SFE series and nearby caches, plus those we passed, I arrived home at about 8pm, after finding my 9000th cache along the way.
Great to catch up with many of the usual faces, some others we hadn't seen for a long time, and a few new faces too.
Thanks for the hides

Apologies for the generic log.
Uni and Medusa, Southern Cross Caching, and I ... shonkylogic spent the October Long Weekend in 2021 attending the Easter 2020 Mega Event at Millicent.
Along the way we stopped to find as many caches as we could - because we somehow convinced our better halves not to accompany us. Or perhaps it was because they really don't like caching as much as us.
We came well equipeed in the Pahero, with not one, not two but THREE TOTTs to help us. Even that wasn't sufficient for all the hides, sometimes you just don't have the right tool for the job.
However we had perfect tools for the Fishing series, and then went on to Kalangadoo for the wine series and stopped at a few others, some involving ladders or tree climbing.
We enjoyed meeting up with old friends, in these days of Covid is really is very special to be able to hold an event like this.
Thanks witchwayz for placing and maintaining the cache

All the history around here ??
It’s great to see it’s still preserved, little siding switches, as colourful yet rustic
We have been Meandering up the Western Australia coast, the Northern Territory, and South Australia, we have finally arrived down south of SA.
Down the Highway and byways, tracks and trails, the geological, historical, the fun geocaches, traveling this great country through the eyes of a geocacher has lead us to some fantastic outlooks.
Thanks to all the COs for placing these Geocaches, it makes the Adventure more interesting.
We found your cache container, a nice quick find, and with signing duties done and dusted we replaced it as found.
Now Ready for GeoVenture 2020 in Millicent, SA.

Doing a bit more caching this afternoon before we head off to meet up for a coffee event with friends, along with goingplaces2. No problem in finding this cache, signing the log and then replacing as found. TFTC.
