I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi BrownscacheDiversBCDThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
This was another DNF and i did take a photo in the rain to show i was there and i will put it on my watch list .
A DNF here for NZDi and I today, we even came bck n the 10th for another look, with the same result.
The Temuka Girl Guides had a weekend camp at the Peel Forest DOC Camp ground. We went on heaps of cool walks around the area! This was a nice track to walk along after we had morning tea in the shade. An easy find... but only after we walked past it! Tftc
Spent the day walking around the tracks. This cache was a quick find as we headed back to the car. TFTC.
We put a new waterproof logbook with bag in it. It was such a nice walk to find this cache.
We took the kiddos for an early season camping trip. A couple of short walks were needed today on the trip home. This walk was stunning. The trees were amazing! Thanks for the cache
#21437. Certainly was a peaceful spot today (didn't come across any other walkers en route to the big tree). TFTC.
It's been a while since we had walked in Peel Forest. We had aimed to go on the Fern Walk, but overshot the track entrance and found ourselves here.
Peaceful spot indeed, with the track to ourselves today. Signed the log book as "SWaT" as it is wet and falling apart. TFTC.

Albi's work commitments does take us to places and this time Mesopotamia it is. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Had no trouble in finding this one, but log book is all crumbled and unfortunately we didn't have a replacement with us. TFTC.

1510. 10:58 am. We are camping at the nearby DOC campsite but the weather has changed our plans for today so a quick find this morning before heading to town. TFT(remote park and grab)C.
Walking the Fern Track, and this cache was near where I exited the track. The track was a little muddy but very enjoyable, saw no other walkers. Was accompanied by loud birdsong for the entire stroll; TFTC
very impressive total on this loop. not so peaceful today with young family up ahead. tftc
Down here to do a difficult cache on my D/T chart & picking up some caches along the way TFTC
With Judith Richards. First find if the day. About to go for a lovely stroll in the bush. TFTC
Missed it on first hunt but found on second after reading description and hint more carefully. Found with peebeenz, team coolbeenz. No pencil to sign it.
We are taking our cat Coco on a motorhome and Geocaching holiday. She looks after our home while we go off in Suzy on GC adventures.
Getting to the end of our huge day. Was waiting for farther and son to pass as thought they were muggles. Said hi and said I was geocaching and they were to. Met gorzzle and both signed log.
Thanks for this cache BCD.

Heading out early morning to do a bit of caching out past Mt Peel.....still early so easy enough to park and grab this one on the way by. Nice morning birdsong. Thanks.
Had to come here twice. First time no find. Then off to the Fern Track to get a couple. Came back on way back to camp for another go. Though about the clue and then though closer to the clue. You should not leave the track to get this one as I am sure others have been doing. TFTC
We had just finished the Fern Walk and quickly grabbed this one on the way past. A quick find in a nice looking walkway. TFTC
Almost back to the car after my loop walk around the Fern walk and Allan's walk caches. That turned into a much more challenging walk than I thought it would be. Nice peaceful spot indeed. I have been surprised today at how few people there are around the area today as its usually very busy at this time of year. TFTC # 16,474
Log was a bit wet, so added a new one. Very easy find, Nice trees around, and very easy walk. With the number of kids doing this walk, I wonder how this hasn't been muggled yet!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Out for a little walking loop on a lovely day! Quick find here, the container was out in the open, so I tucked it closer to the hint object. Log not signeable. TFTC!!
During our travel in NZ we did not have mobile data. So this log is written, when back home.
While having a walk around Peel Forest we came by this path and found the box
Thanks for hiding! Found together with m3h4.

We are finally home and I am trying to catch up on logging some of the caches we found on our holiday.
We had come to this area somewhat unexpectedly, we were further down the South Island finding the TMGT caches until the extreme weather made us head north again. So with a message to a friend we were set up for a couple of days in this area.
I had just come through Allans Track which was about as much as I could comfortably handle on my own.
After having lunch in a nearby shelter (the only dry seat I could find) I wandered up to see the big one and then onto find this one. I was surprised that there was no one else on this part of the track considering how many people are on the track going to see the big one nearby.
The cache was in the first place I looked, I quickly signed the log and returned it as I found it.
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

While Andy went for a walk up Little Peel yesterday, I started solving the puzzles in the area on my in/out 1 bar of data reception. Today we headed out to pick up the solved ones and any other caches we came across on our walk. Parked at the Blandswood Road end and did the Emily, Rata Fern and Big Tree tracks on the way back to the campground.
The small parking area here was full of vehicles and luckily for us that's also where the muggles were and we could make the find easily. Just had to wait for some to pass by before returning the cache. tftc

??????It's time for Xmas holidays!??????
At Munich airport I met Jon Snow and Ari and a couple of muggles. Here we started our common holiday tour.
First we went to Singapore by plane, where we stayed one night and strolled through this beautiful city. It was really amazing!
Then we went on to our real destination: New Zealand! ????
Within nearly four weeks we first explored the North Island, followed by the South Island in the second half of our journey. We could discover unique landscapes and great nature, we saw many animals (and no, I'm not talking about sand flies here??), we met nice people and found also some caches. ??
Thanks to all the owners for elaborating, hiding and maintaining their caches! Staying and caching in ???? and ???? was a great experience and real fun!
Sorry for logging so late, but it's not one of my favorite pastimes...
Greetings from "good old Europe"??, H.N.

?????? Vacation at the original locations of the LotR-films! ??????
Together with Jon Snow and H_Nelson and some friends-of-mine-muggles we went to New Zealand for almost four weeks, collecting many great impressions of both islands, their awesome landscapes, their clinging (and indeed very annoying!) muggles and bushes, their fascinating wildlife (especially the sandflies were very clinging, too??), their various locations of my favorite movies ?? (although the guided tours were very overpriced!) and last but not least their nice geocaches!
I fell especially in love with New Zealand's bushes because most of the caches are hidden deep inside. And the good thing is: there are definitely no muggles there??!!!
It was a very nice vacation with many great impressions and experiences!
We stopped here on our way from Twizel to Christchurch. Found it after having visited the impressive trees of Peel Forest.
TFTC and greetings from Bavaria, Ari

We always enjoy a trip to Peel Forest to view the Lilies so it is a special treat to also find a cache on the way. TFTC
What a beatiful nature walk! Finding the cache was not too difficult. Thanks for the hide!
A quick find on a scorching day. Was good to be in the shady forest...patchy signal though so our first day today have been a bit hit and miss.
On our way to the big tree, picked up this cache. Log was wet. Greetings from Australia tftc
Needed one for today so this was our closest. Bit damp, could do with a plastic bag. Will try to remember to bring one when we go to big tree. Lovely to be home and great to hear wonderful bird song again.
Cute wee cache! Log paper was a bit wet though. Didn't sign as I forgot my pen. TFTC!
Easy find on a sunny winter day. Great reserve to stop and enjoy some massive totara.
Quick find on the way to the big tree. Lots of birds singing this morning. TFTC.
