Having already found the type of cache that I really wanted for today's calendar earlier this morning, I headed out bush for the weekend. This mini series of caches were begging to be found to increase my date's total. This cache was on the appropriate side of the road, so it was grabbed, and the log signed as SG. All caches found were in good condition unless noted. TFTC ALL7 and DSD
Reperio 12:11Day 2 of our Capital GeoBash mega caching trip, and Miss Vitruvius and I continued on doing some of the longer series and power trails just outside of Canberra. We moved from Goulburn this morning through Tarago, Bungendore, and then onto Captains Flat where we camped for the night. Cache found without any issues.Gratias DARKSIDEDANAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

Making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few hours of caching fun. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up as many solves as I can to keep that long list under control. Seems to increase faster than it decreases

#11739 - 9:20:00 AM; Another day out with Sol de lune to do a top up of cache finds on the calendar for today. A straightforward run, apart from heading up one road with no caches along it. A total of 20 finds and only one DNF for the run. TFTC ALL7
Out with LuckyL10n again for a few caches to add to out totals for today. No real problems with although there was one DNF. All logs were signed as SDL / LL.
Thanks for the series ALL7, no doubt we'll back again for a few more.

Catching up on some very late logs.
Day 3 of our planned assault on Canberra with the same group consisting of The Drovers, Phetlern, Micaparamedic,
Alansee GoodLook, and ourselves.
We had another busy but very enjoyable day chasing series caches and happily we found all we were looking for with no DNF's
We all had a fantastic day and would like to write more but as we have said when you do so many in such a short time it is hard to remember individual hides.
This in no means takes away from our appreciation to the CO's for all the effort, time and expense they have done to let us find so many caches.
As per the other two days we signed as "The Mob" to save room in the log books.
Many thanks /// for the hides and the fun.
Wow - we so lucky to be able to explore so many different areas of the Aussie landscape following our passion for the geo game, particularly in the company of Alansee, Good Look, Micaparamedic, Team Crackers and The Drovers. (For economy of space logs of caches we found are stamped "The Mob"
Another fabulous day of fun and friendship.
Thanks ALL7 for placing so many caches on the gameboard, which players enjoy finding.

We stamped the logs as "The Mob" to save space in the logs - today there were 6 teams caching together: Team Crackers, The Drovers, Phetlern, Alansee, the lovely micaparamedic and myself.
Most of the cache finds were straight forward, yet a couple stumped us. A few were located where it was difficult to safely pull the car off of the road, but we made it work with some creative maneuvers.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip that was planned at the Clear Waters mega was able to occur.
Adelaide, Victoria, NSW and Canberra - a decent drive, filled with various caching activities including Adventure Labs.
Several days caching with the awesome Team Crackers, gorgeous The Drovers, fab Phetlern, cool Alansee, and the lovely micaparamedic.
We laughed, sang to a vast variety of songs and chatted - almost non-stop! [^] We piled into cars and had such a fun time. Despite the light showers, windy conditions at times, we also had sunny days to enjoy caching in.
A sincere thanks to ALL7 for placing these caches, including the enjoyable little series.

The third day of caching logging as THE MOB. Once more we appreciated the CO's efforts in putting them out. The weather on all 3 days has been great for caching.
Caching as 'The Mob' - 6 teams made up of Team Crackers, Phetlern, Micaparamedic,

Day 3 - Concentrating on trails, and a few nearby caches.
A few caches were replaced, and some logs replaced due to being wet.

SecretSquirrel-BJC and I spent a great morning chasing most of this series. Lovely sunny weather and lots of caches.
Having a great day caching in the area. Thanks to all the CO'S who made this trail.
I assisted ALL7 on a maintenance run with codawives, finding the cache, checking the condition, replacing logs and/or cache where required. All good to go. Thanks for the find
With an RDO from work today, sun was shining, and the temp was rather pleasent, so I decided to go get some caches out towards Captains Flat. Picked up a decent haul being I was caching on my own, had 1 DNF and 2 unattempted (1 due to the muggle across the road who wouldnt take his eyes on me and my car, so thought it was best to move along, and the other was due to the terrain, being alone, wasnt willing to risk it).
Thanks for the hides ALL7 Another handful completed.

Easy find. Great view, can see the Telstra Tower from here. Thank you ALL7 we have so enjoyed our morning out on this country road.
After being cooped up all week with work it was that time again today for some fresh air, although maybe a little too fresh. Told the CO of our plans so she joined us to do a maintenance run as well, replaced all logs with fresh ones except for the ones that looked like they had been replaced recently. Managed to get them all done before the rain and sleet set in.
Lots of laughs and fun while out on the trail.

Today is a challenge day for TikvaNZ, Fox in Jox, Flintstones and myself - we are aiming for 270+ caches in one day - a big ask! We are hitting a number of power trails around the ACT, mainly ALL7 and DSD caches. With 4 in the car, the jobs of driving, navigation and cache finding will be rotated around all of us. Unless otherwise indicated, caches found easily and in line with the hint.

After being away on holidays it was great to be back in Australia and out picking up a few with StrangeTrousers who is part of the “Kayak Cachers” team. We are so lucky here with great places to go and views to enjoy whilst also getting those find numbers up. I loved that there were flowers out by the sides of the road as we were picking up our finds – nice to come back to the Canberra region and know that spring is in the air and the warm weather is on the way. Thank you AII7 for your trails.

#5640 18th for today
After a long break, the "Kayak Cachers" team was reunited and out bagging a bundle today. Absolutely perfect conditions, not too warm and still. All7's trails out about Captains Flat Rd, (a place I am quite familiar with as I own a series along it) were a great place to be today. We managed to find all but two and we think that one of those was MIA based on prior logs. Some great hides today, nothing too difficult, but the occasional challenge.
Thanks ALL7

A terrific morning of geocaching today in the company of the always excellent IamCoust.
An early start was required, but fortunately the emerging spring weather played its part to make a most pleasant time of it. We ended up with about 30 caches (IaC just slightly less as he had already done a few that he indulged me by revisiting) without having to DNF any and removed a bag full of rubbish from beside the Qbn River as part of the CITO event there. A successful and thoroughly enjoyable start to the day!
Apologies for the generic logs across these. My expediency in no way undermines my appreciation for the generous efforts of those who placed the caches we enjoyed finding (particularly All7, who placed the majority of the ones we found today). TFTC

It had been a little while since our last caching adventure, images of Ginini Falls still fresh in my mind though. Something a little more subdue for this morning’s outing I think….how about a bit of ALL7 power trailing.
Up early and ready by 6.30am, MJW1’s gogetting geomobile primed for the morning ahead. Zipping out to Struggleto……I mean Queanbeyan, it was a Star Wars themed frenzy ahead. They came quick and fast and without much of an issue, the odd hide just that little bit different . Throwing in a few other CO hides here and there, the numbers grew quickly, and by 9.00am, our quota was pretty much filled. 9.00am, and a CITO event back in Stru….Queanbeyan. A quick drive back to town, and before we knew it we had a back full of rubbish, mostly collected riverside, originating from a local fast food joint starting with M.
A quick chat with others also in a cleaning mood before everyone went their separate ways, no doubt collecting other caches nearby. Jerrabomberra was our next port of call, just a few easy finds, before heading home to continue with weekend family fun.
Thanks to all the CO’s and of course to MJW1 for the great company (as always) and driving duties.
All caches found in good condition and without issue.

#7172. I have been in Canberra for several days picking up caches before heading to the Mega event near Wollongong tomorrow. Lots of interesting challenge caches in this city was a magnet for a challenge cache junkie. Heading out on the Captains trail today. I need a few bulk finding days on this trip. Planning to have a few hours out here after lunch before I need to drive to Goulburn for my next pit stop. Decided to pick up caches on this side road. Enjoying the drive out in the countryside. Much rather be caching in the rural areas than along city streets. No goblin to chase me away here. Another quick find here. Signed the logbook at the sign and replaced the cache at the sign as found. Thanks for hiding the cache here ALL7. Greetings from New Zealand. Didn't notice the two other caches up the road on my GPS. Will need to come back another time for those ones.
I've enjoyed today, it was a very nice day, the drive was interesting, and many of the caches were in interesting spots. I had no trouble finding any of them. Some of the logs have been wet and are now dry, and several are getting reasonably full. I don't think a maintenance run is needed. Thanks for the caches and the series.

#15448. Robmc and I are into day 4 of our 2 week holiday staying at Carwoola. With the Mega put to bed we are now free to go chasing caches further afield. Didn't venture too far today but completed the SRPT Series and a few others along the way before doing more caches along Wanna Wanna Road (very close to our accommodation). Finished the day with 71 finds and 2 DNFs.
Started this run of caches at 1.20pm and finished at 2.20pm. Then back to the accommodation for lunch and a bit of a rest.

BettyBoo3747 and I started with the SRPT before lunch, lunched in Sutton, then collected some more caches around home, some in Wanna Wanna Road and a few while walking the dogs in Queanbeyan.
For a short No Through Road, it sure carries a lot of traffic!
Lots of signs of water damage from yesterday's rain, fortunately all the caches were fine. (a couple of damp logs)
Some very flash houses out along this trail.

Many thanks to all the cache owners for their caches, which have been exceptional in their maintenance I have had only 1 dnf and that was only because I was not going to make a tree climb without seeing where the cache was. OZ Mega 2019. Clear Waters Queanbeyan. Day 8. After the mornings events we headed out for a bunch of caches along the captains flat road. I went with MinnieK and Fitzy_1965. It was fun to get to a line of caches again and the very heavy rain at the end caused a bit of added interest, especially when we came across a river over the road. It was good we were on the correct side to get home.

Fitzy_1965, Albida33, GSC2000 & death_killer & I decided to head out for a bit more caching after attending an event at the War Memorial.
We raced the rain but didn't win.....ending up having to take one of the furthest caches we got to back to camp for the night as the road was flooded after a hail storm.
By now the rain was bucketing down so we decided to skip the next few and drive to the end to see what the road was like (for when we would next be down this way). When we got to the end, the rain seemed to have abated for a bit so we jumped out and grabbed the last two. Whilst there, a hail storm set in so we left.....headed back into town but the rain started to abate again so made the decision to work our way back to see if we could put back the cache we still had in the car when the hail storm hit.
All caches were found quickly and we signed as MK, F65, A33 & G2K or MFGA.

Myself, DSD and J+J.au were present in the placing of these caches by ALL7!
We had a full day out on the roads, with everyone assigned a job at certain intervals including adding logs to caches, picking suitable containers for each hide, agreeing on a hiding spot and the CO herself was very quick at taking down coordinates on her GPS and logging them all by hand on the good ol' pen and paper between caches!
I had the pleasure of adding my own little twist to a couple of ALL7's hides, I am sure you can guess which ones had my influence Thanks for letting me add some flare to the trail, I am sure it will make for good breaks between the easy ones!
We had a successful day all up, and great to see so many people logging finds on them already. Sorry for the late logs, just catching up now with this busy period of time juggling work, Clear Waters mega and Easter.
I should add, that my name is not in the logs for this long powertrail, as the caches were made up on the spot and we placed them in quick succession. However all party's present can confirm we were all there, and survived Dan's crazy driving...! I think some of the hides will also show my colours if you know me well! We also took a group photo at Apple Box Flat which was the big turn-around point.
Thanks!
