Its a miracle! An eclipse tin has morphed into a bison tube. Finally found it but a wee way from the co-ords. Thanks Miss Direction.
Something is wrong here. There are only so many places to hide an Eclipse tin on this structure depending upon whether it is magnetic or not. Could not find it and now viewing the photos on line I am pretty sure that its not there. I'll have another look next time I am back in Caboolture. Thanks anyway Miss Direction.
Miss_Direction I found your cache Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi on 31/8/2022, 12:50 pm. This is my find 4049 and find # 10 today. Eventually found it, coordinates were out. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
This took a few minutes to find.
After visiting the Sunday Market at the Caboolture Showgrounds we walked back to camp and had some lunch. In the afternoon we headed out with a focus on the Harry Potter series, but of course picked up a few traditionals that crossed our path on the way. We got all bar one on our travels and had a successful if at times eventful day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Miss_Direction.

Got here early, but not early enough to beat the country folk walking their big grass eating pets. Nothing suss lurking behind a sign with equestrians and their gee gees all mounted up near by. Took a letter at a time and midway through my search came up with the prize. Thanks Miss_Direction for your efforts here behind this ionic sign.
This morning I went for a brilliant bike ride from Caboolture to Woodford and return on the rail trail and back tracks through some beautiful forests. When I got back I still had a heap of energy in the tanks so I decided to do a little loop north and collect a few caches along the way.

Thanks for the cache and taking us here Miss_Direction.
After an overnight stay in Landsborough and heading towards the 'Safari' event, I did a very short detour to look for this one. Found with the process of elimination, it blends in very well in its surroundings.

As a local I have seen this sign many of times while driving down this road. Finally decided to find a few local caches with Nayfee. The coordinates were out a little but after looking through previous logs the cache was soon in hand.

Alycem89 and myself were a couple hundred metres away grabbing a Q500 cache, so while we were making our way back home we decided to drop by and have A look for this cache.
We arrived at GZ and had a fair idea where to look, but after A brief search we struggled to come across anything, we then decided to have another look further on and Alycem89 spotted the hide which was roughly 8 metres out.
A fantastic location to visit. Thanks for bringing us here today.

Out for a day of caching with the regular crew, PirateLinda, 2manytrailers And Giraffe18… we’ve been in the car long enough that it’s time for a rest stop and this is only the first cache of the day…
I managed to pick the right point of entry and had the cache super quick… while still allowing a couple of my friends to continue looking… I’ll pay for that later…
I never went to Expo, but my job at the time meant I saw about a million pictures…

Nice surprise coming around the corner and yes we could guess where GZ was.
Out with PirateLinda and Peppa and 2MT
Quick find by Peppa and we tried to look the other way and sign log quickly and sneak back to the car before the other two caught on. Laughs all round.

Solo Geocaching Hike from QSEC to Elimbah and back!
The last of the day I had just dumped everything in the car and taken only a pen to GZ but when I got there I spotted the bottom of the container on the ground and the lid still firmly affixed with no log sheet in sight… luckily the car wasn’t too far away so I went back for a fresh spare log sheet which I duly signed and put into the container screwed the base back on and it seems otherwise ok…. Final smiley of the day!!!
Days tally 12 finds 2 DNF + 1 egg and a flock of chickens!

Today, I joined a small group in hiking up Mount Beerwah in the Glass House Mountains. We had a reasonable starting time, and then proceeded up to the summit, to be rewarded with some terrific views of the surrounding mountains and plains. After taking a short detour past the summit geocaches, we were back at the car park in 6-7 hr. We managed to take a few more stops in the vicinity, and then I travelled solo south to Caboolture, where I managed to completed a few more Adventure Labs: *Caboolture Oldies* and *Sports of Caboolture*.
I previously had a DNF here back on 28/03/2021, and at the time, I thought I had thoroughly searched this structure without finding the cache. As it turned out, my search was in vain, as the CO had subsequently confirmed the cache to be missing. Oh bugger. So with the container back in place, and subsequent Geocachers managing to make the find, I thought I would make a stop to avenge my former DNF. I searched along looking for the cache container noted as per the description, only to find the cache reasonably quickly once I was in sight of it, as it turned out to be rather exposed. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the cache container is no longer a camouflaged Eclipse mint container, so the geocaching description probably needs to be updated. I made sure to hide the container a little better, just to not make it a target to any curious muggles. Thanks Miss_Direction for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

We were looking for something using a devilish hide and then it jumped at us. SL TFTC
We have now set up camp at the Caboolture showgrounds. We have been joined for a couple of days by pprass.
Today it we found only a couple of caches but we completed a two ALs.
This was one that hubby did on his bike f4om where we were camped.
Thankyou Miss_Direction for placing this cache.

Loved this one! Nearly gave up but persisted. Loved the new case! Geokid took this photo
Seems this one had disappeared again it’s been replaced and slightly moved down a little lower
Today, I joined georode in climbing the Glass House Mountains twin peaks. After an extended bogged vehicle and recovery incident, we completed the peaks in just over 3.5 hr. I then started to head home, passing through Elimbah followed by Caboolture. I completed the *Caboolture - Old&New* Adventure Lab visiting some of the history in Caboolture, before calling it a day.
I ended up spending 20 minutes here looking all around. Unless my search strategy was completely wrong, I suspect the cache is missing. I tried to read past logs and photos, which all seemed to suggest it wasn't a hard find. I did expand my search radius to 20 m, covering all of the letters, and concentrating to the 14 m distance as evidence to where the cache was found, but alas, no Eclipse mint container cache, or anything else, found. Now cue a newbie find to contrast my search difficulty... Thanks anyway Miss_Direction for the cache placement; it was a cool spot to see.

Finally got around to logging our finds on the other account. (Silly me lost my password)
Was apart of the FTF group of Leathebowler, PrincessMoo10, Krista8175 and Dfc_jlk2019.
Thanks Miss Direction for the awesome cache and the history around this area

With my 365 challenge completed it was nice to go caching when I wanted to go rather than having to go. So today it was a little drive north. The plan was to go up to Maleny and Montville, however a slight detour and I was in Beerwah and surrounds, ok happy with that. There are a few different types of caches in the area, a lovely little scenic drive around the area, it’s been a while since I’ve been around here so ok let’s do it. Completed a few trads, some earth caches and a puzzle before I headed home.
Driving back I spotted this one and thought just one more for the day. Thanks to the CO for placing this one here. It was an easy find, and with the log signed and cache replaced as found I was homeward bound.

In the area today and decided to clean up a few that I missed yesterday. After parking nearby I headed to GZ and soon had the cache in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Found! My phone said 14m from GZ, but it was being a little temperamental. It's a big sign up close! TFTC.
We looked all around the Australia sign and couldn’t find it anywhere . Can you please confirm the geo cache is still there
Thanks Miss Direction for this sneaky hide. We had to hasten the pace as a couple were keen to take a photo and may not have wanted us in there keepsake.
Tonight wasn’t our night with this one we did a bit of searching but unfortunately a muggle started hanging around. Looks like we will be back another night.
Have wanted to stop at this sign after I drove past it a while ago. Today was my chance. First I found a lid I assume off an old cache then the cache (with lid in tact). TFTC
A day out caching with Brislions and Mr Curious Quest. After finding a nearby cache, we headed to this one. This one took waaay longer than it shoud have, but was eventually located and the log signed. Sorry for the generic logs....it was a really big day! TFTC
Out and about with Selva Girls and Brislions today. Selva Girls and both needed this one. It took a bit longer to find than it should have at GZ. Log signed and replaced. TFTC
Well, it’s been about a two year rut since I went out seeking my last cache. Today in the drizzly weather I am driving my partner around catching Pokémon (lammeee) when I cracked it and said if we are going to be gallabanting around the region I may as well be finding something real and so I downloaded the app and a quick password reset and off I went.
Last find today, have been here before. Luckily it was raining and no muggles in sight. Quick find, back to the car to sign. Back to GZ to replace and then home for a warm shower!
