At GZ there's a tangle of dumped dirt, a profusion of blackberries, a barbed wire fence and it's a mess
Needs CO check to see if it's still viable.

Couldn't find anything dead but there was a lot of dirt... does that mean the cache is now dead?
Came here a while ago and couldn’t find it when it was too wet. Found it easily today. A few bugs in the box but TFTC!
Found easily. Container was waterlogged. OCW Brewmaker and MaxAdventurer. TFTC
The lid was broken so the log book was soaked and unable to write on. Photo as proof. Needs serious maintenance. TFTC
We would never have found this one without the hint. It is quite overgrown, and the cache container is broken s the contents are very wet.
An exploration of Bowral was on the agenda for today with the associated geocaching. It was a mixed day, with quite a number of hides being in poor condition while others good, but in general some tough going. The weather was a bonus, with overcast skies and only light wind.
The highlight of the day was a trip up the Gib with some magnificent views and good caching thrown in at vantage points.
We completed two Adventure Labs and a few multis, but largely traditionals, with a couple of Earthcaches thrown in.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache widge76.

You don’t need to go get pricked by the thorn bushes! Learn from my mistake! Thanks
An early start today for my geoventure with MizCupcake. We met up and headed down to the Southern Highlands for a day of caching and to enjoy the area. We had a lot of fun making our way through the towns and back roads to each of the caches and had many victorious finds today, ending up with 30 finds by the time we decided to head back home.
Okay, we did stop and search for this, but with the grass was almost as tall as us and the overgrown brambles made life hell! We eventually got sick of getting stabbed by thorns and left before finding this one. Might be better for another day when it gets cleared a little.

Last one of the series. Unfortunately we have had a couple of issues with a couple of the others.

Today is the 9th November 2020 and I managed to find 75 Caches for the day with my friend Loci612. It was an amazing day of caching. We had no DNFs for the day and we also got a grand total of 37 FTFs. We spent a total of almost 14 hours caching and I was dog tied at the end of it all. One of the highlights for the day were seeing a Lyrebird and almost hitting a kangaroo head on at 90kmph (just Missed Him). In total I drove 770kms but I love geocaching so much and the friends I have made along the way make it all worthwhile.
I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it. Thanks for all the caches and sorry for the generic log for this cache but with 75 finds including the 37 FTFs it is hard to write a different one for each cache.
ALL CACHES WERE SIGNED DSD. ALL CACHES WERE FOUND IN GOOD ORDER UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. THANKS FOR THE CACHE AND THE ADVENTURE.
I have included my one of a kind Geocache Poem with this log for future readers to enjoy.
Geocache Poem
By DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
***** I am currently writing more detailed logs than usual. This is because of a challenge provided by Project-GC called "The Author" Badge. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to write an average of one hundred words or more in each Found It log. As of 9th November 2020 my average was 160 words per log, which seems close to the 200 words per log target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After 7600 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 160 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before this year ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

We pulled into this little off-street to grab this cache, and then a couple caches just south of here near the monument and pathway, but after finding this one and a huge dead rat only metres away from it, a whole bunch of FTF's started to get published! So we ditched the other caches and raced off instead! The final find in Moss Vale despite it still being early in the day, our caching plans were about to be completely flipped!
Thanks widge76

A big day in the Highlands caching today. With so many new caches popping up, there was a plethora of caches to choose from. Taking advantage of the longer daylight hours and many solved puzzles, I was able to find some good numbers.
A quick series as I headed between Bowral and Moss Vale.
Thanks to the CO's for placing the caches I found today.

Touring highlands with ThomasK03 after FireAid 2020 fund raiser Bowral. Just grabbing a few caches. Interesting area around both of these caches in near proximity. Cache in good condition. Log signed. Some swaps left. TFTC
My family and I enjoyed find few caches and Good fun... Good weather!!!! thanks

Found with sjg66 on our Highlands caching weekend. Thanks to all the CO's who maintain these caches, we had a great time.
I decided to celebrate International Geocaching Day by polishing off a couple of power-trails that look like being archived soon. Add in the event in Bowral and a handful of other caches that caught my eye and I think today's total was 49. Not a huge day, but given that's more than 10% of the caches I've found this year it's fairly significant! I even managed to stumble (literally, getting one foot wet) across a new hide location. All up a beautiful day to be out and about, with surprising warmth and a clear blue sky heralding the arrival of spring in a couple of weeks' time.
I picked up a few of this series on the way to the event. This one was a nice easy find thanks to a geotrail. TFTC!

I started a bit late this afternoon to chase down the last of the cachers needed to get the final souvenir. I ended up hunting by torchlight in order to get them all.
Thanks for the cache.

Another trip up the highway to grab a few more around the Southern Highlands. Rapidlywild joined us for the assault and the fun. The weather was lovely with a nice cool breeze. Not a bad haul for the day, and we were all pretty pleased at the end of the full day. We left a couple just to taunt us to return and continue our journey through this pretty area. Thanks Rapidlywild for another funfilled day.

Plan had been in the pipeline with the FFLL ladies to do another Southern Highlands caching run however we have had to move the date a couple times due to changes of circumstances. Today we finally made our way back up the very familiar highway to get cracking on some more finds. Our main target today were a few Muppet puzzles that had comments on them about upcoming archives so we wanted to get the checked off since we had solved them. Target caches were found and quite a few extra more
We had collected our target caches for today, we still had daylight so we decided to keep collecting caches. Another nice easy find, signed and replaced. Last cache for today, time to make our way home.
Thanks for the cache placement widge76 and thanks FFLL ladies for another very fun day trip away

Tackling the current challenge, mizmaz decided a road trip was needed and the highlands was our destination.

Chasing Museum clues around the Highlands with kea26 today, included a few newer trails since my last visit up this way that provided enough options to complete the three levels and put me well on my way to the bonus souvenir. Followed geotrail and needed to move a particular item before cache finally spotted.
Another tidy hide and good co ords. Plenty of ample & safe parking! Tnsl TFTC xo

It was a fun caching day out with goingplaces2 today. Found most of the ones we looked for and signed the logs as required. A few we missed but simply moved on after a reasonable time was spent searching. Thank you to each of the COs who placed these caches found today.
Decided to follow this trail with ilook4geo, as we were in the area following the Ozgeomuster in Wollongong. It was a successful run, although we found the co-ords were not to be followed too closely sometimes. Each was an interesting find and all logs had our initials added as a record of the find. Thanks go to widge76 for placing this series of caches.
Found -- 8:40 pm -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *widge76*.
**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.
**The Cache**
SL with our initials probably and returned cache to its hide'y hole. Wasn't sure of the hint but made sense after a few moments *Little Kitten* found it in an instant. Great placement here. Drove almost to GZ, I guess cars passing were wondering why we were at this location.
**The Adventure**
OCW *Little Kitten* heading home from my event I thought it was a perfect opportunity to find some caches. It was a beautiful mild winter night and the road was fairly quiet. **I recommend doing these caches at night except 2 and 3** which would concern residents with someone prowling around swinging a torch. These caches were easy to find and made our night caching a lot of fun. I have been a bit hesitant to head out during the day to find these as there are hundred of muggles passing by probably intrigued with what is going on, so a spur of the moment decision saw them signed off tonight.

18,290. Found during a meander around the Southern Highlands with minniek, GLISS! and specimenX.
A plan was hatched during the week for a lazy meander around the Southern Highlands, cherry picking caches we all hadn't found. A mid morning start had us wandering around in the light drizzle for the rest of the daylight hours. This was the next find for the day as we started on this mini trail - quick find at GZ.
Thanks widge76 !!

The geo team of GLISS!, minniek, fitzy_1965 and myself hit the Southern Highlands for an easy day of quality caching and to knock off a selection of target caches. Great day had by all!
After initially following a wombat trail rather than the geo trail, we had cache in hand for the signing.
Thanks for the hide, widge76

Headed back to Moss Vale for a bunch of finds - and yes that includes part of a Tic-Tac Trail. Tried for fourteen, including a previous DNF and found the lot.
Started with the trail and grabbed about half of what was left there. Even spotted some moving trains... at different caches.
Fun day out with a pleasant walk to start.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
So, I picked my next target for the day... and then took a wrong turn. By the time I realised I was at this one where I could turn around.
Well, while I'm here...
Overthought it and headed for a likely spot. But nothing. Backtracked a bit and then spotted the obvious cacher trail.
Yep, there it is.
Made the grab, signed, replaced, and back to my intended next target.

A fairly late start to the caching day today. Picked up 3 local caches before meeting up and driving all the way to Maitland. This one I missed previously, but an easy find today.
