Logs
Just picking up a few more caches with goingplaces2 while still in the area. We limited caching for the day due to the heat. Logs were signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
Came along on a hot day with ilook4geo to add some more caches to our collection. There were a few caches we selected for the day and each found log had two more names added to note our visit. Thank you to Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing this cache.
I have been eyeing this trail off for a while since I moved to a not so far away place. I need to increase my caches in the Sunny Coast LGA for a challenge and I wanted to get the kids out for a bike ride. Week after week someone was sick or busy. But today, I was able to make it happen. We only completed the first part. There seems to be a chunk of the caches no longer active which is a shame. I couldn't convince the kids to do the last lot so I might make that a solitary trip one day when I am running solo.
After the nearby event and dinner, I returned to the *B/W Trail* to grab 8-10 of the series. I parked at Mathew Flinders Park, and proceeded on foot north. I had always thought that I'd bring Cottontail and my bike to make a morning of this series, but it was just as enjoyable jogging along the old track. As I continued along the track, I departed when my GPSr pointed inwards that a geocache was present. The cache was quickly located with thanks to its accurate coordinates, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [Slow Puncture (LJCC)](https://coord.info/PR7770T) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This afternoon, with a free work calendar, I headed north to the Glass House Mountains vicinity and attended the [Sunset at Wild Horse Mountain Lookout #2](https://coord.info/GCATD6Q) event. I dealt with the start of peak traffic congestion as I vacated Brisbane, and I just had time to walk part of the Beerwah Way (B/W) Trail geocaches and see the Bora Ring before then admiring the scenic sunrise. It was then an opportunity for a few more B/W Trail geocaches, before returning home.
Whilst on a geoadventure that took me in a loop from Beerburrum, Glass House, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford and back to Beerburrum. A quick and easy find, like most in the series. Thanks Slow puncture!
After climbing up onto the Embankment it was a quick and easy find
I am currently on a road trip from Victoria enjoying Queensland.
I am having a ball travelling round the area
I am driving around getting new local government areas to fill my map and make it worth while in a geocaching way
I want to say thanks to the CO for the placement of the hide

Headed up to Beerburrum for a day of caching in the area and this B/W Trail was high on our list . The overcast weather made for very enjoyable day and we were pleasantly surprised by a well maintained path snaking through the trees. We tackled the trail on electric scooters which handled the terrain easily and the dense trees provide good cover when a small rain shower passed through.
We passed quite a few QLD Rail workers chopping down more trees and it will be a very sad day when this trail is eventually swallowed up by progress . All the caches were right where they were supposed to be and all in good condition. A fav point for the trail. TNLNSL TFTC .

Quickn is a goodn
Made the trip down here to do the Bike Trail
The hides were all fun. It is a pity that the road widening has cleared the trees that were once along this route
Hope that the bike path will be replaced.

Slow Puncture (LJCC) I found your cache B/W Trail 9 - You Keep Me Hangin' On on 30/6/2022, 11:30 am. This is my find 3651 and find # 8 today. A quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Love caching in winter so headed up to do the B/W Trail by foot plus others around the area. All coords were great. A few over engineered creek crossings which amused us!! Got wet and muddy shoes first up but it was dry after that. Thanks Slow Puncture for the trail - we loved it.
No luck today, lots of branches and debris around gz we just couldn't locate this one
Attacking this series on foot today. A bit warm but a nice stroll along the path.
Found in good shape.

Second day back to do a few more of this trail before heading home.
It was a nice pleasant walk to find them and all were spotted very quickly, thanks CO.

Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while enjoying a walk in the area thanks for the cache
Time up on Sunshine Coast for a few days and today was to tackle the B/W Trail. I decided to do this Trail while riding my recently acquired E-Scooter. The Scooter handled the Trail without any problems and got thru the B/W Trail 1-12 caches I decided to do today. The caches were easily accessed and did have no trouble locating. Did not feel like anyone was watching me (wait a moment, I did not see one person go past while out doing these caches on the Trail). Signed the log and placed caches back where found. Well looky look, a coffee shop.................. Found the cache and rode on.
Can't believe we just rode past a coffee shop and at 11.00am not a drop of caffeine has passed our lips. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC).

12:46:00 PM. We have looked at this trail for a while. So today we parked up at Glasshouse and got our bikes and I hooked our doggy trailer on for Zara and off we went. A quick find and log signed. Nice cache. Thanks for the cache Slow Puncture (LJCC)
Fourth time at these trails! First time my bike broke, second time we only did a few because of the heat and last week was our third but we ran out of steam with three left to do. So this weekend we are back. Plus hubby wanted to go to the pie shop close by, which he has proclaimed as the best pie shop in Australia! It was odd to find such a large hanging container!
Today was going to be a long day. The bike in the morning doing the trail from glass house welcome to Beerburram, then in the afternoon doing the 27 Club and caches that we pass. A good 2nd day in Beerwah.

I'm back. Planning on finding the rest of this series today, so parked nearby and set off on foot. This was a good start as I walked straight to it.
Last time we were here we were on push-bikes and left with a DNF. It was quite embarrassing seeing we found the cache today within seconds. All the “I’m sure it wasn’t there last time” quotes could not do it, or us justice.
It seems like forever since we have been attacked by mosquitoes but today they had a penchant for blood. We had parked about 600 metres away and they seemed to have a personal grudge against us and were taking their ounce of flesh (not sure what that is in metric). Shakespeare needs some updating.
On the walk Mrs Woodyrothwell was slapping my back and rump like I was running the Melbourne Cup. All the mossies seemed to be attracted to me only because every time I checked her backside there weren’t any to be seen, and I was checking it every couple of centimetres.
Anyone that wants to see me smacking her tushy might want to check their favourite adult web site. Let’s be honest, we all have one. tftc

Out and about with Chamad on this wonderful Boxing Day to complete the B/W trail series, Hamilton series and any other caches that were in the vicinity. The weather was perfect with a hint of cloud at times to make the day a little more pleasant. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience today and how can you not enjoy the backdrop of the Glass House Mountains, we really do live in such a wonderful location where we can experience places like this. After several hours we decided to call it quits, I finished the day with 30 finds and unfortunately 1 DNF.
Thank you to each an every CO for placing caches at each of these locations and for giving us a reason to visit.

I had contacted Geonayfee and said we hadn’t been caching together for a while did he want to come along for a morning of caching. I had planned to grab “little boxes” and the ones along the trail leading up to Beerburum .
After our success at our first cache we hit this trail thanks to the CO’s who placed all the caches along the way here. We found all caches and some were quick finds and others took a little longer, but all were in good condition and still in play. There were some interesting caches and a variety of sizes and placements, so again thank you. We signed all logs and left caches as we found them. A very nice drive, walk and bike series for us today.

We decided that a bit of a walk was in order to start the weekend so headed to Beerburrum to follow this trail all the way to Glass House Mountains and back again, picking up all the caches along the way. We were lucky to have perfect walking weather and were delighted by some of the cute cache containers we found. Great way to spend the day. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)

Today I conquered the Evil series. I was chatting to another geocacher last weekend. Was told they weren’t to hard to solve. To back that up, I started solving one of them when we were talking. A few minutes later had it solve. Then I just started laughing. She look at me to see what was funny. I told her I just finished solving it.
4 days later had finished all 6. But that’s just me, 3 of them were just causing me problems. I was using the wrong solver program. Now that was the easy part.
I check will Grannysmith1947 if she would like to come along us usually she said yes. We bought along Miss Millie. Maybe we shouldn’t it turn out to be a National Park whoops .
So the day was planned to pickup 5 traditional and 6 mystery, found fist traditional at 8.40am and the last mystery was found at 1.40pm. One we had to MAF because that one was causing us problems.
Oh, that wait awhile caused us a lot of pain. I am glad that I read some of the logs. I went up with long pants on. But should had wore long sleeve to. And maybe a helmet as well. I came away with scratches behind my ear. Ouch.
I will not be going back. Lucky I have a 4wd because I needed it with all the wet tracks.
After them we grab two letterbox so that now 50 I have collected. Now only have one letterbox left on the Northside of Brisbane a few Southside and all clear up to north of Gympie. . And I cleanup two DNF I had. So 15 caches for the day.
Sorry for a generic post.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. Slow Puncture TFTC *444* streak. *2715* Finds

A quiet (for me) week off work so far, and so Crew153 and the mighty Geofalcon offered to get me out up this way and about for the day. And so it continues. Bike trail power caching - on foot and in car. Busy road indeed at this time of day. Walking faster than the cars.
Thanks Slow Puncture for entertaining me at this location.

Pprime and I took a day trip around loop from Beerburrum, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford to find the caches in the area.
I'm sure I had a crush on Diana Ross way back then. The traffic along this section of road is getting busy. Must be people trying to avoid the congestion of the highway.

Second day in Australia. We were up early and decided to go for a stroll along this trail. We left our car at the railroad xing and walked south. At every cache we were looking out for creepy or crawly animals, you know Europeans are not really used to them, but only one grey snake crossed our path twice. From # 18 to # 8 we found every cache easily, not to forget Tibro Views.

I have not been caching with bb in forever due to work and family commitments and we have finally managed to escape the daily grind to sneak out for a Thursday fun day. The B/W Trail was our target, so we decided to park the car at the start of the trail, then catch the train back to Beerburrum from the Glass House Mountains station. We set off from cache #1 and had a lovely adventure, finding lots of caches along the way. We enjoyed ourselves as there was a variety of cache types, places for food and comfort stops along the way and it was a nice walk. TFTCs Slow Puncture (Sorry about the generic logs - I'm close to a milestone and am catching up on logging).
Been forever since rio and I have been out for a day.

This was an easy find no issues with the cache and so It was a case of moving on to find some more of B/W Trail. TFTC.
To Cut A Long Story Short the Longest way is ALWAYS the best way. I had noticed this little trail of caches had popped up around the Glass House Mountains. Now ruzzelz is never one to knock back a nice ride mixed up with a little geocaching. But, what can one do to spice up a ride a little along the way.
Looking at the map I thought maybe we could ride over there,up there a couple past those little hills. Along the way we should get nice views, there will be just a gentle slope along the way. Well that is what I told Beardman when he volunteered to come along for the ride.
Why are you walking Blair? That was the easy bit. No trouble just peddle harder mate I said. It is getting so much easier now, it should be all down hill now, well maybe.
Now that was a top day out, I do like having fun and caching.

Ruzzelz and I met up to do a ride around the Glasshouse area starting and finishing with this series. The caches were all found reasonably quickly and it was nice to find decent sized containers. Thanks for the cache and series
I completed this round after climbing Mt Tibro this morning. I had a lot of fun on my bicycle tour and found all caches of the series and returned back to the car in just over one hour.
Thanks for the fun and exercise.

I had been able to collect a few in this series through the week, so today I took my youngest geodaughter for a drive and we worked our way along the rest of the trail. I really enjoyed the good containers (and a few quirky ones) and the quick finds. great to have no dnf's! Thanks for hiding and maintaining this trail Slow Puncture; we had a great afternoon
It was perfect weather for this trail today, sunny and protected from the wind. La Kedi and I found all the caches in good condition and appreciate the time and effort in their placement and upkeep. Thanks Slow Puncture.
On an overnight trip to the Glasshouse Mountains. Did the trail. TFTC Slow Puncture
I've wanted to do this series for a while now and with the Mystery at the Museum ending in the next day or so, this a perfect opportunity to do both.
I parked the car at Beerburrum station and hopped on the Nambour train up to the Glass House Mountains. After picking up a couple of caches on the way from the station I headed to, what was technically the end, but for me, the start of the B/W Trail.
A nice quick find.
Thanks Slow Puncture!!

I teamed up today with
The Marble to tackle the trail between Beerburrum and Glass House Mountains. We had a great day exploring the area and managed to find all we looked for! I really appreciated the amount of effort put in to a series like this, in which all were found in good condition and with good coordinates.
Happy to report that I knew this song and hummed it as we approached GZ . TFTC, Slow Puncture. =^.^=
