Unfortunately the area has had trees cut back and cache needs a bit of maintenance but still a good find for the kids
First of 4 days caching with Robmc today. Today we left home in Melbourne to travel via Apollo Bay, Port Campbell and then north to finish in Mortlake. Grabbing caches as we went along.Really enjoyed this series. Mostly nice straight forward finds with spot on coordinates.Thankyou!
Day and I have set off for a LGA collection trip around Western Victoria. We started today heading down to the Otways, then across to Port Campbell, then north to Mortlake. The weather was somewhat changeable, but we stayed mostly dry.We didn't disturb any bees here, just signed the log and scampered. Thanks, Robmc.
Found It.......While having lunch we decided to head down here to collect some more caches and do some cache maintenance on one of ours. After winding through the rainy ranges we popped out in wonderful sunshine and after pulling up we set off down the path picking up caches as we went. Once at GZ a quick search soon yielded the cache and with the log signed we continued our journey. Thanks Lumpyjrb for the cache
Well I'll bee!!!Second find in this series and another great container and well maintained cache. We have a couple of 'critter caches' back home in Tassie and they are always good value.Second finder of this one today too. Thanks and another favourite point for your efforts here.
We headed off down the Great Ocean Road for a few days for a belated wedding anniversary celebration. The weather was kind and the scenery along the road spectacular. We based ourselves in Lorne and then tripped around checking out the local places. While we had visited the area some time ago it was great to spend more time exploring the area, and of course the caching.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Lumpyjrb.**SKI Pair****
Nice little creature here. Many thanks Lumpyjrb for providing this game piece for our enjoyment. And thanks for sharing the highlights of your region.
Bullertrout, Nanzie and i are caching our way to Adelaide for the mega. Picking up what we can in the time available. All logs are being signed as BT, N, PC or some variation of that to save space. TFTC Lumpyjrb#15141
PCNBT Team on our trip to join our other caching friends at the Adelaide for the Event. This was an easy find pleased it wasn't real it deserves a favorite thanks Lumpyjrb

Quick stop for all of us. Nice place and today wasnt so crowded. I found that bee- TFTC!! And greetings from Germany.
The weather is still ugly down here. Lots of rain about. Muggles still in bed. 1 dog walkers seen.Found the bees no problem. Liked your bee story too..Cheers and happy boxing day...
Got it. This one was near in deer to Wisewarrior heart Hes not a big fan of bees. I got this one out with Wisewarrior and Littlehawk. TFTC
Found it! This cache was a real surprise, and a lot of fun to find. I was staying in the caravan park nearby and went for a stroll after dinner, and it was a great way to end the day.The cache was well-hidden, but not too difficult to find. The hint was helpful, and I was able to spot the cache from a distance. It was a bit creepy to get close to at first, but it was also really cool. The logbook was in good condition, and I was able to sign it easily.
Found by The Empire + HFuelled by caffeine and a sense of adventure, we set out to explore more of the Great Ocean Road's treasures. The winding path ahead promised encounters with the natural beauty of the coastline and more delightful surprises that this coastal town had in store for us.The drive into Apollo Bay was an adventure in itself. We left behind the bustling city of Melbourne and soon found ourselves enveloped by the lush greenery of the Otway Ranges. Towering eucalyptus trees reached for the sky, their leaves forming a natural canopy over the road. The air was imbued with the earthy scent of the forest, a welcome departure from the urban landscape. As we continued along the winding road, glimpses of the Southern Ocean teased us from between the trees. The distant sound of crashing waves whispered promises of the sea, a melody that grew louder with each passing mile. Our first stop was at a lookout point that offered a sweeping view of the coastline. The azure expanse of the ocean stretched out before us, framed by the rugged cliffs that defined this coastal region. Seagulls circled overhead, their cries adding to the coastal ambiance. Thanks for the cache Lumpyjrb.- M
Found it. Lucky there were no actual bees here. Got stung once while out caching, wasn't fun. This was fun though. TFTC
We are visiting from Brisbane with muggle grandma, driving along a big section of The Great Ocean Road. Before everyone else was awake, I snuck out at daybreak to finish off some caches in Anglesea before we all headed off to Apollo Bay. So many beautiful places to see along the way. Many of those places are pointed out to me through caching.
Ook deze pakken we snel. Normaal hebben we niks met ongedierte maar deze is wel leuk.

Spontaneous trip down the coast, destination - Apollo Bay, for icecream!!!
Stopped to grab a few caches along the way. Did part of this series as a park and drive, but it would be wonderful to do it as a walking trail and be able to take in the beautiful surroundings a bit more!
This one was quickly spotted after parking the car, although had to do some stealth squatting and hiding to be able to sign the log and replace it without being spotted by passers by!

To bee, or not to bee, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous caching,
Or to take Arms against a Sea of AdLabs,
And by opposing end them...
Thanks heaps for the cache, Lumpyjrb!

This was a much easier find compared to the last one. However, while I was looking I got a call from my new work boss! How awkward was it having a phone convo next to a busy road while trying to dissect a bee and sign the log? Oh well, better than having a phone interview while on the dunny...
Great series. Managed half on our way to Apollo Bay. Will get the rest another day. Greetings from Edinburgh. TFTC
Heading into AB with kids for fish & chips and logged this one on the way. Cache in good condition. TFTC!
Another very nice cache. Am here biking with friends. Apollo Beach is lovely! TFTC
#2054 2022 Great Vic Bike Ride - Day 5 Colac to Apollo Bay Almost at the end of todays ride (and for me this years ride) so decided to make it a leisurely ride into town doing a few caches on the way. The log on this one was pretty full too (had just come from Rhino Beetle which I thought had the same problem) Left a new log sheet to keep it happily ticking along. TNSL.
