Fairly easy find, but more of a "small" cache as previous entries have suggested. Tftc
Our last day in Invercargill today and the weather gods were shining on us today. Beautiful day for some sight seeing.TFTC
Nice walk around the loop picking up a few of the newer caches we hadn't done, TFTC
Enjoyed doing the Daffodil bay walk with my family and finding these caches, TFTC
Another great day, so time for some smilies to start this month's wheel of fortune challenge. Met up with relative newbie MaramaNZ for some adventures.
Managed to look in just the right place.
Thanks for the cache wombats_4

It's coming to the end of our Southland sojourn with a few selected caches still to be found. Out and about today finding some of the closer ones.
Thank you for placing this cache.

Our holiday is coming to an end and we're mopping up strays on a beautiful autumn day. Thank you for this cache.
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are currently parked up at the NZMCA Park in Invercargill …we decided to drive out to Sandy Point & go for a wander & grab some parts to an Ad Lab based out here & to grab a few caches as well … this cache was easily found … log completed & then replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #3,813 for us.
It took us quite a while to spot this cache, perhaps a little south of the coordinates for us. TFTC
Nice loop track. Not the best area for finding caches with a mobile device but this one was found by my savvy 10yr old who knew where to have a look!
Time for a little lunch time walk to make the most of the nicest part of the day. TFTC!!
Great to have a hint here as we've struggled today with the gps bouncing around under the tree's and often no hints.
This was a much appreciated quick find.
Thanks for putting this here

Quick find out for a run at Sandy point used to run here 25 years ago. Favorite spot.
Cache 544 I don’t know why but in my head I was sure this was going to be a bison tube nope took a few minutes to spot as my gps was bouncing a little bit but got there in the end, had to be stealthy as I heard some muggles coming luckily the dogs alerted me to them lol cache is in great shape T4TC ️
#18962. Stopped for a few drive-by trads (in addition to the puzzles that were the main focus of the drive out here). TFTC.
Today is our last full day in Invercargill, as we are heading north on Saturday, so need to mop up some more puzzles, including the Big I series, and a couple of adventure labs.
Wow, so many caches here and so little time! But time to stop for an almost drive by. TFTC.

A check on caches around Sandy Point today, only a few concerns. all good here... an interesting find pinned to a nearby tree

Had looked for this one day a long time ago.
After 2 weeks solid caching it seemed far to easy to locate this afternoon.
Down here on my bike, a little dusty and I was amazing the number of people around .
Guess us southerners like to enjoy every nice day.

Snagged this one along this awesome walkway. Cheers. Starting to spit now. .
Friday 30 October. Its exploring Sandy Point again today.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Decided that with overseas trips on hold to spread out my annual leave and take a long weekend away from Dunedin. It was a chance to head to down and see some caching friends and go out caching in an area which is very green on the app map.
As it was a lovely day I decided to head down to the spit to go for a few long walks and grab some caches. A lovely day and dodged muggles looking for the caches.
Thanks to all of the COs, I smashed out the last 100 points (and more) for the memory lane souvenir collection.

[NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) is definitely happening, but has been postponed until 2021. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 22 to 25 October 2021. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20+ years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

Working in Southland again after a few years away...headed back out to Sandy Point and Daffodil Bay to enjoy the walks and grab the dot caches that were missing last time I walked here. Starting to get a bit late but a quick find as I headed back to the car. Tftc
Nice to have a few caches in hand on a sunny ️ Sunday afternoon. Had to revisit this one, with a Paf. There it is, signed and off for a walk. TFTC
Did a mad dash after work. Big black sky, am I going to get wet? After all this rain the road is quite mucky. Parked up, scuttled across road oh dear a few drops of rain. Thank goodness cache was quickly found. Signed log & rehid, back to the car & headed home for a shower.

What a beautiful day it's turned out to be, we decided to make the most of it and do the tracks out here. It's been a while since I was out here last. Got near GZ and Tuitigger and I separated, each following the compass, I found this one quite quickly. TFTC
Spring is the best time to get out and get some Daffodils... perfect day for it today. This was the first Daffodil picked today, parked the car and SW quickly found before my coords settled down.
This one had been archived when I did the loop back in early 2016. It wasn't an immediate find but I earned my smile. Putting it back was problematic because it kept sliding down the back. I ended up making sure that it was secure where it kept slipping to and used some leaf litter to help hide it.
Thought to come see if i could get this one before a trip around pak n slave.
Parked up and made my way to gz.a search and yay, found it.

Buried in the snow but we dug it out.
That's enough Pengi. Time to go back to the fire.

Yay a {FTF} with DSI at 13.05 3/8/19. After getting some of the new caches nearby we decided that since we were nearby it would be rude not to have a look for this one. Parked up the cache mobile and headed off with DSI and arrived at gz before the rain got heavier. A quick search and the container was found with a clean logbook. The stamps were used and the container returned just in time as a couple of walkers passed us exiting from the bush. Thanks Wombat for the new hide.
Second find for afternoon in the downpour. Quick park up and dash across into the trees to get away from the rain... lots of good puddles to splash .through on the road. Tftc yep I'm getting real wet now after being exposed on the rover track.
Granville and I had spent the last hour or two walking down some new green dots on the radar.
We decided while in the area it would be rude not stop by and give this one a go.
We jumped in to the cache mobiles and then droped down to one to make a stealthful approach to GZ .
We found a parking spot and closed in on the gz a quick search soon had the goods in hand and yay a clean log. And a FTF
Thanks wombat1234 for the new hide .
I run past this spot twice to day all ready and not knowing it was here.
