Went with flow. Never push against the tide. Great cache hide here. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.Blockheads Unite in 2025.
I did the lab cache before work early this morning and got the co ords for the puzzle this afternoon. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM Cheers dkmacca

Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. Many thanks to Geocaching NSW for hiding.+ 1 FavoBest regards, searchersab
Over in Sydney to visit one of our sons and to pick up some geocaches of course! Enjoyed completing this geocache as we walked from our bus stop over to the Rocks, and then finding this final. Thanks for setting it up
Out caching in the area, after catching the train down from the central coast. The weather is good and I am having a nice day. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found slI completed the AL some time ago and came for the final today, a clever hide at GZ
We spend a few days in Sydney and enjoy the city with its unique sights, buildings and parks. We also search for and create caches, virtual and lab caches. This takes us to places we would not have visited otherwise. The caches are in very good condition and the hints helpful and they were all dry and there was still enough space for the next cachers. After solving the Labcaches we are able to find the nice Bonus. We give an Favoritenpoint. Many thanks and greetings from the Moorhelmi
On a late winters day, Ms Atalanta and I went downtown to complete the AL challenge relating to the Tank Stream. With the GPS coordinates in hand, we set off to locate this bonus cache. After some beating about the bush, we located it about 10m from where my phone was pointing.TFTC and the tour of the Tank Stream.
Did the lab many months ago when visiting. Forgot a bit about the solved bonus. Came down from the bridge walk, checked my phone for caches and suddenly was at just 7m from this one! After a bit of looking around, I spotted the container, tftc!
Up there with my fav ALs - very well done. Fitting that water fell on my head the whole way from location 2 to GZ. Thanks! tftc
Heading to Singapore early this morning, I wanted to find one last cache in Sydney.I don't count *Adlabs* on my main account so used my alter ego to work through the interesting stages to gather the information for the final coordinates. I checked out the final location on my way back last night so this morning I was able to nip out of our hotel to quickly grab the cache. I'm surprised that this hasn't been found since May. All was well so I quickly completed the administration & rejoined my family for our journey to Asia. Now I just need to complete my mission by finding a cache in Singapore to break my record for *Longest distance between caches in a day*!Found at 06:58Cache #10488TFTC Geocaching NSW
Found on a big walk around Sydney whilst in town for professional development and a work function in Kings Cross the day (and night) before. Seems that the theme of my walk today revolved around the Tank Stream as I seemed to visit a lot of places about it today, even outside of this AL. Very interesting feature of Sydney that I had never heard of until today. All answers were solved pretty easily, WP3 obviously required some Googling but managed to get the answer within a few minutes. Very cool hide and Camo at GZ. TFTC Geocaching NSW!
I had been chipping away at the Adventure Lab for this one for some time every time I went for a walk in the city. With a series of torrential downpours rolling through town today I was in two minds as to whether to head out or not, but things cleared up nicely at lunch for a short period so I quickly headed out from Barangaroo to complete the final two Waypoints, reveal the final GZ a pleasant stroll away, and retrieved the cache for signing (keeping it nicely dry under my umbrella from the next showers that by then had rolled in). Spent some time looking at the wrong hint item until I realised from prior logs that others had done the same thing...found the right one a few metres away and spotted the wonderfully designed cache. A definite Favourite Point from me for the challenge, the opportunity to learn more about the history of the Tank Stream and an excellent bonus cache.
Yesterday I did the lab cache, today I went for the bonus. Quickly found.Tftc, Christian.
#1994This was the second of nine finds for the day. After finding "TFTC Sydney - Bridgewalk", I returned to Milsons Point Station to catch the train back to Wynyard. I realised on the map that I had the solved coordinates for this AL Bonus and that it was only a few hundred metres from the station. I enjoyed completing the Adventure Lab, particularly after having completed a multi based on the Tank Stream several years ago. With the solved coordinates, and a pretty good hint, I found myself at GZ very quickly. I also remembered being here previously for another cache that was part of the old Rocks GeoTour. After a quick search, I found the object the hint referred to and spied the cache. SL. TFTC.

Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. A lovely cloudy day in Sydney. Today a little shopping and a few caches here and there. Greetings from Finland Thank you for this cache.
Today raija485 and I did a lot of sight-seeing and at the same time, of course, we did geocaching. We found several caches during the day and this was one of them. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!

**XX** MMMMMMMMXXX: Spent a very hot Leap Day in Sydney geocaching. Completed this informative adventure lab over several days. Nice hide for the bonus. TFTC
Visiting Sydney from Canada, by way of New Zealand, and of course, out to get some caches as well. TFTC
GC8BHH5 AL Bonus - Go with the flowI completed this ad lab last time we were in Sydney but unfortunately I had no luck at GZ. After a few DNFs it was marked as missing. In town with my daughter and friends to see Tay Tay (them not me). Morning walk and I had to go past here to try and right my wrongs. Nice easy find this time. TFTC Geocaching NSW
While the family visited the museum I walked around the city collecting caches. Initially walked the botanic gardens with one of my sons while he Pokmoned but then walked from Pitt Street mall to the Opera House and the Rocks collecting AdLabs and caches on the way. A warm day in Sydney and busy but really enjoyed the exercise. This was the first AdLab I ever completed - a long time ago. But I had no luck finding the bonus on a previous visit. With a generous hint it was a quick find today (finally). Took one of the souvenir wooden geocoins to place in a cache at home for others to discover.TFTC Geocaching NSW

We are visiting from Arizona, out exploring Sydney by way of walking, uber and light rail. Enjoying talking with some of the locals, seeing all the sights and finding lots of fun geocaches. Thanks for the fun adventure lab and showing us around the area. . S/L M&D
Another cache logged during my Australia trip. Spent some time on a wrong concept and finally got it.
this cache and it's accompanying adventure lab were one of the first cache location discoveries upon arriving into the big smoke.having never cached here before, i was excited to finally hunt down oldies, uniquies , favourites and missing months after collating lists seemingly forever.i do love myself some history, so this adventure lab somewhat jumped out at me. found over a couple a days, with the last waypoint cache garnering many a sporadic photograph. then the final found at another time, completely randomly in a place i hadn't yet been, and late at night. definitely made for less muggles about. thanks so much for putting this historical journey around the tank stream together for us all to muse an' mosey on. sorry for the late draft log.

A couple of years after finishing the AL and my initial search, I gave it another stab. Not sure if the hint was updated but it definitely made the difference. TFTC!
My 3rd attempt at this, and only dedication to the cause got me through. Too many distractions. The 3rd? WP got me stuck, as the link sent me to a home pages, and it was difficult to bring up the info I needed. There was some "reading what I wanna read", and not reading the pages involved brought me unstuck and frustrated for a little while. Got there today though, and after looking too low, finally came up trumps. TFTC. FAV for the historical aspect.
Well my trip up to QOGM has officially started and I’m taking the very indirect route up to outback QLD to get there.
It has been a while since I have driven up the Hume and some people say that it is a very boring drive.
I consider it a very easy drive as people can pass you and you can pass people very safely.
After spending the night at Lane Cove CP I had the day to spend in Sydney.
Caught a few trains in to town then walked around Circular Quay and surrounds finding a few caches as I went.
I caught another train to St James station then I followed the Lab tail back to Circular Quay.
I had never heard of the Tank Stream and it’s association to Sydney and it was an interesting read as I followed the way points.
At GZ it took way longer than it should have but that’s just how I roll.
A fav goes out to you for interesting Lab and Cache.
Thanks Geocaching NSW TFTC.

Day 1: Sydney and The Rocks
Touched down in Sydney today, and headed to the hotel to put down the things and have lunch. After that, it was an afternoon of caching, mainly to pick up the caches and ALs that dot the immediate CBD area. It was a little windy and chilly at points, but remarkably pleasant after all, with many quick finds and urban caches found in quick succession, while revisiting some of my favourite spots in town. There is a lot of well-documented history to be learnt as well, and appreciated the many lessons, both old and new that were encountered.
(End of the cut and paste bit)
————————-
Last cache of the day, and as an “alumna” of the former Tank Stream Multi, I am glad to have made a second walk down the stream, and revisit many of the sites again. I love how the stream lives on in the memory of the city. The cache took a bit though as it was dark, and the signal was jumpy, so some unneeded ducking into the bushes were conducted before figuring out how obvious the hide was. Lovely and appropriate cache, so Tanks! Sorry, I meant Thanks for the Cache and AL!

Nice to be able to finally claim a find on this bonus cache. It's been sitting in our to be found list for a couple of years and we just haven't had the opportunity to come close by. GPS had us checking out a box right under a surveillance camera. Reset and found it soon after. Thanks GCNSW for placing this cache.
Always like an AL with a bonus. Go with the flow is what today was for me really, following one icon to another, with a few detours and backtracks! Enjoyed this AL and the walk it led me on. Nice container and hide here! FP, thanks for the fun!
After a pleasant stroll up the Tank Stream, I continued to the bonus. A little upset that the underground part is closed.
The bonus one has a look but really needed the hint - didn't think the hint pointed to anything that existed as my gps took me a long way from the GZ.
Great little adventure!

After my last DNF here in 2019, I tried again ladt night. But there were way too many muggles. So decided to give it a try again later om my way back tk hotel. This time (2AM) it eas way easier and finalky signed the logbook.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a day in and around Sydney CBD. Many kms walked today!
An interesting journey, which we started at about 10 this morning and finished (this bonus) close to 3pm, though with other caches and ad labs done at the same time.
Quite a short journey. I'm comparing it to the Avon River in Christchurch (NZ), where there are currently 10 ad labs covering its journey from start to finish! TFTC.

#22755. We enjoyed going with the flow of this cache (though getting to the bonus required going against the flow). Once at GZ I initially focused on something big that wasn't the hint object. Once I spotted the hint object the nicely build cache was quickly spotted. TFTC.
Did the AL in a couple of walks through the city. Had no idea about the tank stream! Quickly found the cache at GZ. TFTC!
Thanks geocaching NSW for this great bonus. A great way to finish the lab and extensive tour of Sydney CBD
So daughter has been working down in Sydney for a while and she hasn't gotten a bit lonely. So what do we do..head to Sydney for a week, and definitely some caching.
Fun AL. With all the required info in hand it was on to the final. Couldn't get to it last attempt due to muggles, but back today and able to find without issue.

I swung by the AL Bonus cache today to check on it following reports of a stuck lid. It was very difficult to remove but I managed to pry it off. I gave the inside of the lid a good sanding and applied a film of silicon. It is now much easier to remove and replace. I also picked up the only TB that was in the cache. I note the container could do with a new paint job so will get that sorted during a future maintenance visit.
Please continue to enjoy finding this bonus cache.

Great fun working through this Adventure Lab. As mentioned in previous logs, could not get container open even after trying for quick some time. (Have a picture as proof of find if needed.) Nice hide. TFTC
We came to Sydney with a group of muggle school friends(from 50 years ago) from the UK. They helped with the Ad Lab and were disappointed at not being able to access the cache.
Thanks anyway. We are staying in the tank stream hotel so we did not have far to wander.

We are visiting Australia from Florida, USA for a multi-week vacation which will have us visiting two states in Australia (Tasmania and the ACT) we missed in 2014 followed by 28 days on the Ovation of the Seas including New Zealand and a Transpacific to Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
We arrived in Sydney this morning and after checking in at our hotel if was time for a nice walk around the area especially after a 17 hour flight from Houston, Texas. We would do @27 caches including Labs, a couple of multicaches and earthcaches, along with some traditional caches.
Thanks for a fun tour of the area, the find was easy enough, then tried a few methods to open the cache, however each one failed. tftc!!

Mrs Shiter and Miss Shifter completed the AL today on a trip to Sydney today. Miss Shifter has always been interested int eh history of Sydney and the Tank Stream so we combined a mother/daughter day out with completing this AL and learning a bit more about the Tank Stream. Unfortunately we were not able to gain access to the food court of Australia Square where there had been a viewing window to see the Tank Stream many years ago, we wanted to see if it was still there.
We found the bonus but, like the previous finder, we were also unable to open the container. We have taken photos as proof of find if needed.
Thanks for the great AL and bonus.

Well made cache that I couldn’t get the lid off. Maybe jammed from recent humidity. Will hopefully sign when it’s fixed.

On my way to the ferries to leave the city for the day, I passed by this one and hoped for a quick pickup. I finished the adlab a few days ago but didn’t have time to log the bonus then. Today when I was at gz there was not too many muggles here and I could go straight to the host. A nice container that most people would believe was part of the host, but it came away easily with a simple pull. I also found a trackable within, which I took the opportunity to discover, but didn’t take with me. Log signed and hide replaced as found. Thanks for the whole adlab+bonus and I’m attaching a FP for a well constructed adlab.
A big thank you to Geocaching NSW for creating and maintaining this geocache, so that the rest of us can entertain our hobby. The log is signed as Bubbles.

Enjoying the first day in Sydney with SpottyPippin, walking in the city, seeing the sights and grabbing smileys. Thanks for the cache and the fun. TRD: The Reformed Druid.
We completed this AL some time ago, but hadn’t made it to GZ until today. We we’re originally looking in the wrong spot but soon decided to broaden our search and had the cache in hand in no time. Thanks for the great AL and for this accompanying mystery. We also left a trackable that we collected in Western Australia to continue its journey. In Sydney for a quick stopover before we head to the UK tomorrow! TFTC
Out for a day of geocaching near our hotel. First day in Sydney for TRD and fun to be back for SP. MPLC and for the fun. Spotty Pippin
We found AL Bonus - Go with the flow while on a long drive, building up the learner driver’s log book hours.
We completed this series yesterday but having overdone it a bit, we retreated to our hotel. Back this morning armed with excellent hint and coordinates, we made an immediate find.
I have been looking forward to do this ad lab for quite a while. Thanks for the history
Thanks Geocaching NSW for hiding this cache so that we could come and enjoy ourselves

Came here a long time ago but got stuck and one spot the system wouldn't point me to the plaque. Ran out of time and went home
Today we came to town to find a dull drizzling day but not much muggle traffic and found the plaque straight away then finished the last 2 stages and coords for this one were given. A short walk to GZ and the cache was soon in my hand
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Geocaching NSW

Keep on forgetting to do this AL, but one of the stages was enroute to where I was headed so one stage led to another and soon the cache was found in a somewhat familiar GZ.
I was lucky enough to find the original Tank Stream multi - which was plenty of fun, thanks for the walk!

Find 10 of 10 for the day. Last day in Sydney before a late afternoon flight, just time to try and clear up the Barangaroo and CBD area. It was warmer and windier than the previous two days, and with about 45km walked over the three days we were slightly footsore by the end.
This AdLab took us a few visits with it being in a direction we never actually took. The find was then a bit of a schlepp on tired legs but we got it done.

Picked this up after completing the aslab. Lots of people busily lunching nearby but all looking at their screens and paying no attention to me.
A bit of a stretch for a shortie! Log signed and replaced as found.

This cache was inspected today and although the lid was tight, it could still be removed. If one end doesn't seem to want to come off, make sure you try the other end.
Some work has now been completed on the lid that should make it slightly easier to pry off.

Having completed the AL the day before, we went looking for the bonus first thing in the morning, well, second thing after breakfast.
The lid was tight, yet there aren't many things a bear can't open. Our stamp's in the logbook now.
Thanks for the enjoyable AL and for the nice bonus.

Like the previous finder, I just could not get this thing open. It was raining and all involved were just a touch wet. It was on the ground, but i found a good place for it...hope the photo is enough to claim the find. TFTC
I absolutely can not open the container, my hands just aren’t strong enough, but am sending photo to cache owner as proof of find. If this isn’t enough please feel free to delete my log. I finished the Adventure lab some time ago and had to go back to the journal as I read in other logs that final had been updated. I updated Coords and found quickly. Thanks for cache.
Took a little bit of effort to get open (twist and pull, not just twist - it’s not a screw lid). Pleased to complete the lab and the bonus one after the other. Find number 4999! Milestone next!! TFTC

A very enjoyable AdLab which taught me a great deal. Did the labs a couple of days ago and came for the final this morning. That's a cool container. I've picked up a TB to move on. Many thank yous !
After Covid caused the repeated cancellation of a family trip to Canberra, we had some travel credits banked that were soon to expire. So today I found myself in Sydney with my wife, for an extended weekend getaway from Brisbane, and some caching thrown in to the mix.
I was familiar with the Tank Stream from some previous caching in town. I had done some pre trip research as well which facilitated the easier collection of information on our walk around town today. With all the information collected it was time to head off to GZ. A nicely concealed cache which was easily found. Dropped off a trackable I had been carrying around for far too long. TFTC

Found it with Gl.Turbo during our vacation in Australia. Thank you for the walk ?
Did the walk together with TurboPar. The box was easy to find, but we had some problems with our counting, to get the right answers
I remember doing a similar multicache along the tank stream a while back and saying I should put my name down in the ballot to walk it and never did. Thanks for the reminder! Did this cache intertwined between a bunch of other different AL, mutli and regular caches. Was pretty spent by the time we got down the the quay only to find it was back up a hill. Thankfully it wasn't too far and it was a fitting hide in the end. Thanks for the mini adventure.
Found It!
First cache of the day and with no one else around here this morning it was a quick find. Took me longer to get the lid off!
