A beautiful day out with friends enjoying being driven from cache to cache! Quick find in a very interesting place. TFTC halcyon123!
A fun day of caching with the crew in the Southern Highlands. This cache was a straightforward find in the obvious location. Log is full. Thanks!
Easy find thanks to the winter season . Our first find in Bundanoon. Thanks for the cache!Found with TC216.
Out with BlacknWhite to chase down a few caches in the southern highlands on this fine Kings birthday Monday. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. This had us scratching our heads for a while. BlacknWhite spotted a plastic frog in the tree and thought bazzinga that is it. But it wasn't so we expanded the search. Finally had another look at the frog and there was the container just below it. the frog had nothing to do with it just a random placement or was it. Very hard to spot unless you are at the right angle. It would be very hard in every season except winter, no leaves to contend with.TFTCIronbark.
Tricky little hide that took us longer than expected to find. Many thanks again halcyon123 for hiding this cache and the challenge
A quick find while geo-wife was checking out the library for a good read, thanks.
We are driving today from Wollongong to Canberra. We decided to take a scenic route and stop along the way.Bundanoon was a good place to explore and stretch our legs. It is always great to visit these small towns in the southern highlands where everything is so green, and the little townships are so different to the cities. The rain had stopped, and we pulled up at GZ, where, after a short search we soon had our name added to the log here. Thanks halcyon123 Domsky
Found after a short search with some assistance from the owner of the library. Thanks for the cache halcyon123
12th find while slowly driving from Sydney to Canberra stopping for some caches on the way. I had parked in town and walked across the railway lines and headed for GZ. I soon spotted the hide and had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and I spent a short while looking at some of the nearby blooms. Then back to the car and I continued on my journey. TFTC.
I love these little street libraries. They are such a wonderful way of sharing books and knowledge. With both kids in the car, I pulled up and spotted the cache immediately. The kids however wanted to be the ones to find it. I gave them a bit of time and when they both admitted defeat I showed them where it was. Before I had a chance, one went in for the collect and the other burst into tears because they wanted to be the one to find it. Sometimes you just can't please everyone! The log was signed and everything was replaced as found. TFTC and another street library.
Was in Bundanoon from Sydney for a meeting at the Bundanoon Hotel. Needed a little walk before the return trip. Perfect to have this cache just down the road. Not such a nasty hide in winter! In fact, it’s been a gorgeous, clear first day of winter. Good quality books in the library but my reading stack is tall at the moment so I refrained fro borrowing. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
Came up this way to pick up a Geocaching Australia moveable cache & had a look before departure to see if any Groundspeak caches about. This was about the only trad I hadn't found & a bonus is the Free Little Library, a Waymarking category. The owners certainly put effort into its construction. A beauty. Looked in three trees before spying the nasty bison. Thanks for the cache & the Waymark.
Just out for the day drive quick find and sign placed back where it belong TFTC
Happy new year.
Im on my way back to Sydney and thought id take a detour to pick up a cache or two.
An old work colleague lives in Bundanoon so it was the perfect place to stop off.
I found the cache easily however i did need to wait for a minute while a couple of dog walkers checked out the library.
Thanks.

I parked nearby and had a good look around GZ with no onlookers, before spotting the prize and logging in the car. Thanks for the hide.
Found It!
A quick find here. At first I was expecting it to be in the street library but soon read the hint and found it nearby.

I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to five months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES! Well, at least I'm currently only a month and a bit behind.
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Down the Hume to the Southern Highlands for today's cache plunder. Got twelve but was quite disorganised and ended up backtracking here and there. Typical me!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Any cache specific comments will be added here. Don't hold your breath, though.

Unfortunately Tree camos aren’t as effective in deciduous trees in the winter
Doing some landscape photoshoots around Bundanoon today for some Album Art and am absolutely infatuated with the place! And street Libraries are indeed also awesome! Found a couple of these in Canberra and I love them a lot! Thankfully no chances for 8-legged guardians when the cache isn’t actually inside the library

Found with Crafty Dusty and my mate Julie who came along for the ride. Unfortunately we didn’t have a pen, so will send a pic of the log to CO as proof of our find. TFTC!
Unusual for me. A quick find and very grateful as it's about to rain. Thanks
On a wander around bundanoon and found this. Swapped a couple of books while there.

Great library, thanks for the hide, Loved the painted rock, it is one of the nicest ones I have seen. go with happiness, misty
Out and about doing some solo caching in this beautiful weather. So glad this one is up and running again. We tried ages ago when it was missing... just on the off chance. Didn’t take too long this time, thank goodness, as these ones can be diabolical... hmmm not my head height though
Thanks
Thanks
Moved back to original position (check the hint if you need a very clear clue!)
No find today. Chatted with the owner, who said he hadn’t seen it in a while (and who does enjoy seeing the “sneaky” cachers).
We stopped and left some books. Unsure if this cache had been replaced. Had a quick look but didn’t devote too much time. Tfth
