This week Mrs Woodyrothwell and I are on holiday staying in Hahndorf. We took the opportunity to drive 35 minutes to our favourite cellar door in McLaren Vale to see if we were still in love with their stuff. On the drive back I turned to my wife and I said surely there are some caches on the drive back. She loaded the app and almost straight away yelled out pull over here. I didnt brake in the middle of the road but went close to it.My wife stayed in the car and in the wet she was yelling from across the road from old logs. Apparently there is a lot of leaf litter here. Well that was the understatement from hell and being wet I tentatively kicked around a bit. I was about to walk away in the rain because I didnt want to ruin my manicure until I spied the hide nowhere near the leaves. tftc

Well whacko we found the cache, we do love a weird and quirky word, cant beleive they just announced the words of the year and Matilda, noers and yessers are on the list!! Where are all those clever words that are unique and weird, theyre the ones we need to have as word of the year.Coming back from Kyeema we took the shortcut through to McLaren Vale and checking the Geocaching app we saw this hadnt been found by us so we stopped, spooked some cattle (by accident) and found a cache. Thanks hevwalker for the cache, all in good condition, signed the log and replaced safely away. I started 2019 with two Geocaching goals. Half way through I took on another. Getting any of these goals did not involve going caching today. Surprised

Then Groundspeak wanted to start a streak at the end of August to get a souvenir. So I did. Surprised And I am still on that streak so I guess I now need to achieve 4 goals. My longest streak was 46 days when they last wanted a streak some years ago. So I needed to go and grab a cache today to see if I could do better than last time. Razz

But caches close to home are now in short supply so I grabbed Sal and we headed from Nairne to The Range so we could get the daily cache. Not this one but one 'just around the corner.' Wink Decided to drive home a different way and that brought me past this cache. Should I leave it for another day. [?] Not likely. Surprised I stopped and after a short search I found this cache too. Smile

**Thanks hevwalker for this cache. ** Big Grin

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.

Based at Willunga for a few weeks, today found us up on the range, criss crossing the roads amongst the trees, chasing caches.

Determined to find at least one cache on this cold and windy day, this was the one - and we thought, only. Freddo had already been here today, wonder if we cross paths today. thanks hevwalker for the hide.
Reminds me of a location in Victoria - Dingledangledongledale. Or something similar.

Today was a lovely sunny day after all the grey rainy days we have had so I decided to go for a bit of a drive to find a few local caches that have popped up since I was last down this way. Big Grin

Well I never knew this locality existed until I looked at this cache...so now I know. Big Grin There was plenty of water lying around after all the rain we have had, but I managed to stay dry as I searched and found the cache. Cool
