Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. On our way to Port Elliot for a few days and picking up caches along the way. After setting up the caravan nearby, we headed out to walk this beautiful park on a blustery but dry arvo. Thanks for the find. LCNU

Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, NorgeMe and MrVon sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N4 (ingsve, Von sr. TeamEika and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway
As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip.

Spending the weekend down on the Fleurieu Peninsula to take a break from the city. Warm weather but it was enjoyable to explore new places while letting geocaching be my travel guide. I started this trail on foot back in 2022, but decided it would be more efficient to return with my bike. That day was today. I parked at the Middleton end and set off on my bike. It was hot on the bike under the sun today so I was happy to find all but one of the remaining caches on this trail. I also took the opportunity to do the Adventure Lab caches while I was on the trail. Thanks for the cache sir_spectre.# # #14038 # #
Walking from Middleton to Port Elliot. Finding geocaches along the way.Not really, a problem, but I would advise folks walking from the east to get off the trail before you cross the bridge.TFTC.
Tricky to get to, but worth the find. Love this shade of purple. TFTC sir_spectre.
Don't know what's happened to this one but I couldn't find it today. Mind, not keen on bashing through that snake infested long grass!
House/dog sitting at Currency Creek. Finally weather fine enough to walk along this path & get as many caches as I can whilst muggle husband went off for a coffee!!!! Tftc
The last time we were here we were too nervous about snakes and the long grass.
This time it was cold and wet, so we ventured forth and a quick find was made.
Thanks sir spectre.

Found during an energetic walk along the Encounter Bikeway in Ratalang (Basham Beach) Conservation Park. Thanks for the cache and series sir_spectre!
Thanks sir_spectre. I was careful about timing for retrieval and return. I'm loving the walk and the caching, in the sunshine.
I decided to head out today in the direction of Port Elliot and this series of caches was my intended target. A thoroughly enjoyable walk on a pleasant day and I seemed to have it mainly to myself for the most part.
This one was a bit of a tricky cache to locate. I resorted to previous logs in the end as I wasn't sure I was in completely the right spot. Turns out I wasn't far off, but it was enough to make life difficult. When I approached from another direction the find was made. TFTC sir_spectre

Ocw the Bebes in Port Elliott as we travel the country. A lovely bike ride with our geodog Peppa to pick up most of this trail. Some locations are very snake habitat looking but fortunately we didn’t see any today. Tftc
Searched on the wrong side of the creek for a while, but easily spotted once we were in the right place. TFTC!
Have some time to kill before our cruise through the Coorong. Stopped to enjoy this colourful cache series!
Headed south for some caching today, mainly after AdLabs but of course was planning to find some physical caches as well. The first AdLab suited this very well as it was in the Ratalang Conservation Reserve which also contained the ****is the color**** series that I'd had my eye on since it came out about 3 years ago. Haven't been on the bike for far too long so that came along as well. Managed to get the bike quite close to all but two of the caches. All sixteen colours were found and their logs stamped.
Thanks to sir_spectre and the Mini Maker for this cache and the series.

A rare day off during the week for Anymules had us meeting up and heading south to the Hindmarsh Island through to Port Elliot area and then onto the Cox Conservation Park. Got to do a Lab Cache series as we walked around a colourful series and almost all were found in good condition although I did add another couple of DNFs to my ever growing list.
Time for a colourful walk to grab some caches and do some Labs. Of course we crossed the bridge first and had to wade back through the creek to find the cache. I found the cache but not a fence post. Bush must have grown somewhat.
***Thanks sir_spectre for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Lovely day for a walk. Found a post, but no cache. Walked around to the other side of the bushes (through the very slushy creek) and found the cache.
Thanks for the cache sir_spectre.

We are spending time in and around Port Elliot. This series has been beckoning, and we chose this afternoon to walk from the caravan park to Middleton and back, creating a few smilies for our map along the way.
Walking through the jungle to get here felt like challenging fate but no snale was interested in us today.
Freed the TB from captivity to move it on soon.

Found it flying solo today targeting the rest of the colour series we didn’t pick off whilst in Port Elliot last March. Nice secure spot to leave a trackable, Have a Slice Day Stamped as The Brown Family

While staying in Middleton we decided to do the nearby ‘color’ series of caches and enjoy the lovely loop walk to Port Elliot and back. As they were put out for a child we added a trinket to most of them.
All had excellent coords and were in great condition. Most were easy to find discreetly with only a couple a bit more difficult to access.
Beautiful bright colours too.
Very glad we did this series mid week as the tracks are very popular so would be very busy on weekends.
Many thanks for a delightful series sir_spectre

A day trip to Victor Harbour and surrounds, concentrating on several segments of my “360° from home” chart that are deficient in finds!
One of a cluster of six caches to finish off the day. I’m almost out of charge (me as well as the GPS), but I’ve made a start here with some left for another day.
All caches were coloured as advertised, and in excellent condition thanks to the two layer strategy.
Nice choice of colour here! Reminds me of your letterbox at Totness, what a memorable day that was.
Thanks so much sir_spectre and mini-maker.

Out and about today picking up some local caches in this area while on holidays. All good here today.

Lovely area for this trail. Brightly coloured containers made it a fun series plus the gorgeous views. Thanks for arranging.
What a great series through Ratalang (Basham Beach) Conservation Reserve! I loved every Cache! Great walk on a good weather day! Tip find the goat trail to the cache before finding it… not like me finding it after finding the cache!
Now off to get petrol… I’m running on empty and the car!

Southern Cross Caching
Out for a day around Middleton and Goolwa where I met up with Southern Cross Caching.
We started our walk at the surf beach next to Surfers Parade and walked through to Port Elliott, picking up the colour series.
There was a surfing competition at the point which explained why there weren't many out along Surfer's Parade, even though the waves were excellent today.
Thanks for all the pretty colours, you must have a great paint collection in your garage
This cache was found using a Garmin GPS 64s at 2:41:00 PM and was 7 of 16 finds today.
Thanks sir_spectre

Found at 16:09 with Olga. We approached from the wrong side at first, which was pretty soggy. We did get to see the Cockle Train go past. Lots of carriages today, but mostly it looked like dads were looking out the window rather than children
Headed out early with the 2 Geodogs - what a lovely walk this is!. Quick find TFTC

After seeing a huge black snake at Fluro Green, we decided that the grass was way too long to venture into in sandals for this cache. Will have to wait for another day.
