We have travelled from Portland Victoria to South Australia and after setting up camp with Pprass at Port Elliot we spent the morning cruising around on the bikes. After some lunch we toured around town collecting some caches along the way. Thanks for contributing to a fun day out sir_spectre

Endelig har jeg og MrVon sr kommet oss ned til Australia og New Zealand, -en gammel drm er gtt i oppfyllelse. Team Eika og Ingsve har ogs reist i flge med oss p denne turen. Vi har reist p kryss og tvers i en mned, og mlet er ende opp i Adeleide og megaevent p skuddrsdagen. Vi har spesielt sett etter gamle cacher, for fylle jasmern, for et par stykker, og for oss to andre som har begynt tenke p gjennomgang to.De aller fleste dukket greit frem p plassene sine,noen ganger mtte vi lete litt, men var som regel heldige tilslutt. We travel by car and Geocaching helps us discover many nice places and often helps to decide where we choose the route between our goals which are: Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Dunedeen, and Adelaide. As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Spending the weekend down on the Fleurieu Peninsula to take a break from the city. Warm weather but it was enjoyable to explore new places while letting geocaching be my travel guide. I started this trail on foot back in 2022, but decided it would be more efficient to return with my bike. That day was today. I parked at the Middleton end and set off on my bike. It was hot on the bike under the sun today so I was happy to find all but one of the remaining caches on this trail. I also took the opportunity to do the Adventure Lab caches while I was on the trail. Thanks for the cache sir_spectre.# # #14036 # #

I decided to head out today in the direction of Port Elliot and this series of caches was my intended target. A thoroughly enjoyable walk on a pleasant day and I seemed to have it mainly to myself for the most part.

The cache was fluro pink and could I spot it? Could I heck! I spent more time wandering in circles than I can to admit. I was about to give up when my GPS shifted ever so slightly and there it was. TFTC sir_spectre

Ocw the Bebes in Port Elliott as we travel the country. A lovely bike ride with our geodog Peppa to pick up most of this trail. Some locations are very snake habitat looking but fortunately we didn’t see any today. Tftc

Headed south for some caching today, mainly after AdLabs but of course was planning to find some physical caches as well. The first AdLab suited this very well as it was in the Ratalang Conservation Reserve which also contained the ****is the color**** series that I'd had my eye on since it came out about 3 years ago. Haven't been on the bike for far too long so that came along as well. Managed to get the bike quite close to all but two of the caches. All sixteen colours were found and their logs stamped.

A rare day off during the week for Anymules had us meeting up and heading south to the Hindmarsh Island through to Port Elliot area and then onto the Cox Conservation Park. Got to do a Lab Cache series as we walked around a colourful series and almost all were found in good condition although I did add another couple of DNFs to my ever growing list.

Time for a colourful walk to grab some caches and do some Labs. Another one found as we made out way back towards the start of our walk.

Thanks sir-spectre for this cache. Beautiful day for a walk. Fortunately my shoes are waterproof; getting a great try out on that; and the trousers are soaked on the bottom, but a great caching walk.

A long weekend for us and we spent them down at Goolwa enjoying some unusually warm weather, this morning we decided to go for a stroll in this park and collect a few great sized caches, a colourful series all were found in great condition

We are spending time in and around Port Elliot. This series has been beckoning, and we chose this afternoon to walk from the caravan park to Middleton and back, creating a few smilies for our map along the way.

While staying in Middleton we decided to do the nearby ‘color’ series of caches and enjoy the lovely loop walk to Port Elliot and back. As they were put out for a child we added a trinket to most of them.

All had excellent coords and were in great condition. Most were easy to find discreetly with only a couple a bit more difficult to access.
Beautiful bright colours too.

Very glad we did this series mid week as the tracks are very popular so would be very busy on weekends.

A day trip to Victor Harbour and surrounds, concentrating on several segments of my “360° from home” chart that are deficient in finds!

One of a cluster of six caches to finish off the day. I’m almost out of charge (me as well as the GPS), but I’ve made a start here with some left for another day.

All caches were coloured as advertised, and in excellent condition thanks to the two layer strategy.

I was going to stop at orange, but I still have a little charge left, and the next one is fluouro pink. I cant stop myself. Phone dies 15m out, and pink saves the day. FP for the series, it’s been a nice walk.

What a great series through Ratalang (Basham Beach) Conservation Reserve! I loved every Cache! Great walk on a good weather day! Tip find the goat trail to the cache before finding it… not like me finding it after finding the cache!

Southern Cross Caching

Out for a day around Middleton and Goolwa where I met up with Southern Cross Caching.
We started our walk at the surf beach next to Surfers Parade and walked through to Port Elliott, picking up the colour series.
There was a surfing competition at the point which explained why there weren't many out along Surfer's Parade, even though the waves were excellent today.
