Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. On our way to Port Elliot for a few days and picking up caches along the way. After setting up the caravan nearby, we headed out to walk this beautiful park on a blustery but dry arvo. Thanks for the find. LCNU
Found at 9:48 AM GAFF1 in the company of The Morris. On our way on our bikes from the showgounds where we are camped to do the sir spectre cache series. A lovely trail and we were very lucky to have a beauriful day - very still and perfect temperature. Thanks to sir_spectre
We have travelled from Portland Victoria to South Australia and after setting up camp with Pprass at Port Elliot we spent the morning cruising around on the bikes. After some lunch we toured around town collecting some caches along the way. Thanks for contributing to a fun day out sir_spectre
We enjoyed a few days away from home, enjoying the scenery, the people we met and, of course, finding cachesThanks to all who made this an enjoyable week.
Followed the rabbits to this one, lots out on this beautiful Autumn day. There has been a bit of activity with tree planting and was happy to see the cache was still there. Thanks sir_spectre and mini maker tftc
As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip.
Out on a geocache trip with Ellen Sch , Team Eika and ingsve on holiday in Australia, and today it was this area that was prioritized If nothing else is mentioned, we found the cache at good coordinates and it was fine To save space in the log, we often log in with the nickname N4 Many thanks to CO for laying out and maintaining this Greetings from Norway TFTCUte p en geocache-tur med Ellen Sch,Team Eika og ingsve p ferien i Australia og idag var det dette omrdet som ble prioritert Hvis ikke annet er nevnt s fant vi cachen p gode koordinater og den hadde det braFor spare plass i loggen logger vi ofte med nick N4Tusen takk til Til CO for utlegg og vedlikehold av denne Hilsen fra Norge TFTC
Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, NorgeMe and MrVon sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N4 (ingsve, Von sr. TeamEika and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway
EnglishWe are six Norwegians on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. We arrived in Melbourne at the beginning of February and are traveling home after the mega event in Adelaide. Spending the weekend down on the Fleurieu Peninsula to take a break from the city. Warm weather but it was enjoyable to explore new places while letting geocaching be my travel guide. I started this trail on foot back in 2022, but decided it would be more efficient to return with my bike. That day was today. I parked at the Middleton end and set off on my bike. It was hot on the bike under the sun today so I was happy to find all but one of the remaining caches on this trail. I also took the opportunity to do the Adventure Lab caches while I was on the trail. Thanks for the cache sir_spectre.# # #14035 # #
No luck here either. Found a very promising place with few rocks, but no cache there
On a stroll from Middleton to Port Elliott. Finding geocaches as I go.No problems here. TFTC.
Enjoying riding our bikes along here again and picking up the caches we missed last time. Stopped to watch the steam train go past
Sun shining today so took the opportunity to find a few caches. Noice & bright. Tftc
Found during an energetic walk along the Encounter Bikeway in Ratalang (Basham Beach) Conservation Park. Thanks for the cache and series sir_spectre!
Thanks sir_spectre for this great series and cache. I couldn't find this one last year!? No such problem this year, all good.
I decided to head out today in the direction of Port Elliot and this series of caches was my intended target. A thoroughly enjoyable walk on a pleasant day and I seemed to have it mainly to myself for the most part.
Time to go a little cross country. I could hear the Cockle Train though I was not in a position to spot it. Probably a good thing - I didn't want to get muggled by a steam train of people. A straightforward find here. TFTC sir_spectre

Ocw the Bebes in Port Elliott as we travel the country. A lovely bike ride with our geodog Peppa to pick up most of this trail. Some locations are very snake habitat looking but fortunately we didn’t see any today. Tftc
Time for a Tuesday Trekking for members of the Befuddled Puzzle solving group. Anymules was still on holidays so he chose to head south and target TOTT caches as he doesn't have a pole for tree fishing. [^] Some cache maintenance was also required at Goolwa. In the end, only him and me were available so we started at Kuitpo, and branched out from there.
Just over 4 months ago we did the whole palette of colours but this one was missing. So whilst in the area we came back and found the new cache quickly and added our stamps before the Wabbits get it again. Better build a wall - too many wabbits. [:o)]
***Thanks sir_spectre for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Headed south for some caching today, mainly after AdLabs but of course was planning to find some physical caches as well. The first AdLab suited this very well as it was in the Ratalang Conservation Reserve which also contained the ****is the color**** series that I'd had my eye on since it came out about 3 years ago. Haven't been on the bike for far too long so that came along as well. Managed to get the bike quite close to all but two of the caches. All sixteen colours were found and their logs stamped.
Thanks to sir_spectre and the Mini Maker for this cache and the series.

A rare day off during the week for Anymules had us meeting up and heading south to the Hindmarsh Island through to Port Elliot area and then onto the Cox Conservation Park. Got to do a Lab Cache series as we walked around a colourful series and almost all were found in good condition although I did add another couple of DNFs to my ever growing list.
Time for a colourful walk to grab some caches and do some Labs. Once again the local rabbbits have been busy and we could find where they had been digging. Perhaps the cache is not at a tea party somewhere down a hole. We didn't find this one.
**Thanks sir_spectre for the search anyway. **

Two of us searching here today and we found a likely spot, but not cache could be located.
i sent my beta tester to check on this one. It looked like it has fallen in to a rabbit hole, literally. Cache replaced with a dark pink regular sized cache, with another container in side of that. It's all i had on short notice. Might have to move this one off the ground at a later date.
A long weekend for us and we spent them down at Goolwa enjoying some unusually warm weather, this morning we decided to go for a stroll in this park and collect a few great sized caches, a colourful series all were found in great condition

A one night stay at Milang with a walking group ended up as an extra night solo stay in the area.... just way too many green faces needing my attention. tftc
We are spending time in and around Port Elliot. This series has been beckoning, and we chose this afternoon to walk from the caravan park to Middleton and back, creating a few smilies for our map along the way.
Not too keen on walking / bushbashibg to the caches in this section, but we did.

Found it. Not sure about some of the treks off the path. Grass is quite thick and a snake was seen by someone today

Found it flying solo today targeting the rest of the colour series we didn’t pick off whilst in Port Elliot last March. Stamped as The Brown Family

After completing this series within the month of it being published it was good to return today and find the other 4 that I have missed all found are in good order
Today after doing some family stuff together I had a few hours spare to go caching around the local area. So set off and found roughly 20 caches.
Thanks for the cache

Nice day for a day trip to Victor Harbour. Lunch at Port Elliot Bakery for the pie and donut of the month. Had to get a few caches nearby. Didn't spend too long searching. TFTC
Out and about caching around the Fleurieu Peninsula while staying in Victor Harbor on holidays. This cache was one that was found today. Saw this one be enabled again, we dropped past to pick up the smiley. Thanks to the CO for the ongoing maintenance.

Cache replaced. Now more a dark pink due to lack of pale pink spray paint over xmas
It looks like the lawn mower got that one. Will replace soon. Just waiting for shut down to start.
Logging as a beta tester. I walked all over this lovely part of the coast with the CO placing these caches, and regularly come back whenever there is an issue.
Thanks
Thanks
What a great series through Ratalang (Basham Beach) Conservation Reserve! I loved every Cache! Great walk on a good weather day! Tip find the goat trail to the cache before finding it… not like me finding it after finding the cache!
Now off to get petrol… I’m running on empty and the car!

Southern Cross Caching
Out for a day around Middleton and Goolwa where I met up with Southern Cross Caching.
We started our walk at the surf beach next to Surfers Parade and walked through to Port Elliott, picking up the colour series.
There was a surfing competition at the point which explained why there weren't many out along Surfer's Parade, even though the waves were excellent today.
Thanks for all the pretty colours, you must have a great paint collection in your garage
This cache was found using a Garmin GPS 64s at 2:12:00 PM and was 3 of 16 finds today.
Thanks sir_spectre
