No luck today.
Plenty of rubbish behind the seat, but I couldn't see the cache.

Great cache, came here with JB who currently does not have an account. TFTC!! - Sleepercache & JB
On a trip to the coast and caching along the way. Lovely spot. Found with everdene22
It was a bit of a puzzle finding the start but then it was an enjoyable walk through the bush on a fine sunny morning. TFTC
The train came after I'd found it. LOL as I walked over the bridge to access this. TFTC
Tried walking from the supermarket to get straight to the cache but then look looked at other logs and made for the parking waypoint on foot. A nice stroll later and then the cache was discovered. I signed the log and then I replaced the cache container as it was found.
Thanks for placing this cache

Another one we made a lot harder than it should. Parked by the stop bank and walked up but could see no entry here so drove around to the sports ground and parked up. Walked down to the corner but no access over the rails so back tracked to we found access to get to the track. Now finally we are moving in the right direction but I take the left hand route which ends up taking longer. Finally get this one snagged at GZ after a short hunt. Cheers. Loved this little walkway once finding our way in.
Saturday 8 February. From Kumara Junction to Greymouth today. So lets go exploring.
Making a long weekend out of Waitangi Day exploring the West Coast with Zara Toby, Bullertrout and Bro. Its Waitangi Day today. Exploring Hokitika, Ross, Hokitika George, Lake Mahinapua, Lake Kaniere areas today. Great time and visited some amazing places. On the negative side got a speeding ticket in Hokitika and munched up Zaras nose.

#17871. It was a good job parking coords were provided as we might have struggled to find the track otherwise. Enjoyed the walk to GZ and made a quick find. Passed a jogger on the boardwalk on the way back, which needed a bit of care as the boardwalk isn't very wide. TFTC.
It is our last day in Hokitika, as StreetWalkerNZ and I are spending tonight in Greymouth then returning home to Christchurch tomorrow. The forecast was for rain developing, so we made an early start to find a few more caches in the area before the rain set in.
We appreciated the trail head WP as we were unfamiliar with this track. A nice wander along along the boardwalk and a quick find at the final. Pity the view is somewhat obscured here. This turned out to be our last cache find of the day as the next cache looked for was a DNF . TFTC.

Found on a three day caching journey over to the West Coast. We really enjoyed the challenging hours spent in solving the many puzzle caches and now the signing off on the log books. We had a great spell of weather as we traveled along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
Had a great day on the West Coast todya lots of km's walked, grabbed heaps of caches, and had a lot of fun. Many Thanks Bitsprayer
The cloud was slowly building again and we decided if we wanted a bit of fresh air and exercise then maybe we should head out sooner rather than later.
We could see from the road above there was no likelihood of a park at the beginning of the walk due to a sizeable dog show and all it's attendant campers and other assorted
vehicles so we parked at the top of the steps and walked down from there.
Noah had skipped ahead of us so had to be called back where he made a quick find. As we were signing the log the first large raindrops began but we were lucky enough to get back to the car in nothing more than light drizzle in the end.
Thank you Kernel_Corn.

That big rain cloud slowly crept up on us while we procrastinated at home. It flexed its muscle ever so slightly but let us off after only a few drops. It then moved on to turn the day into a springlike experience. A wonderful walk much enjoyed. Thank you Kernel_Corn
What kind of idiots go walking a track in the rain. Refer to pic.

A plan was hatched... I had the cachelets on sleepovers and didn't need to be home. So... I contacted TG and asked if he was up for a wee jaunt to the Coast, of course! I Grabbed TG at 6.45pm and 520km+ later we got home at 2.30am and scored a few caches along the way. Good fun and a true nod to our Mad Monday Misson ethos!
Took a dodgy approach here and still made it to GZ via the railway track. Ended up doing the loop nice and easy find at GZ for the {FTF}!
Thanks for the cache Kernel_Corn.

It's been a very long time since TW and I have had a reeeally Mad Monday Night Mission. This evening his kids were all on sleepovers...and the night was ripe for "An Adventure". Westcoast anyone??!
TW picked me up at 645pm.......home by 230am. 527km travelled. 7 FTFs and a great adventure along the way....not the maddest; but quite possibly the second maddest adventure we have been on.
What a fantastic wee track....all the better at night too! Our approach was rather dodgy but we got to the track and walked ourselves around to GZ to make the find and sign. Logbook had a couple names in in dated yesterday - we presume they are the COs kids?....Nice spot. Onwards!
