Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we had decided that wed move on to Central Otago today, staying in Cromwell we went for a bit of a drive this morning to get a couple of caches that we had investigated last evening we found the first waypoint easily enough & recorded the info, entered info into GPS & headed off to the final after a quick search soon had it in hand certainly made life reasonably easy when theres not too many people many around were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN, except photos:LN:LS this was #6,600 for us!
Kubabelle and I completed this multi. A straight forward and simple multi to follow. The final location made sense. Getting to the cache was slightly difficult only because of how busy the area seemed to be. Eventually we were able to use stealth to get the cache and sign our names. Replaced as found. Thanks for the cache
The rain has started but we will not dampen our spirits as we tour Queenstown and surrounds with chooknchunk on our third day of touring NZ.Staying nearby we made this our first stop as we head back towards Queenstown.A straightforward multi that gave us a smiley near a great location. Thanks wombats_4 for the multi placement.
Day 3 of our NZ mega mega holiday with The_Tritonz <3: Cromwell to Te Anau via Queenstown. First cache of the day and definitely a nice easy multi - no problems encountered here. Afterwards we visited the nearby facility for a loo stop and some merchandise. TFTC wombats_4.
Good quick find here awesome place tftmc. Cache all good signed log and placed back where found. Saw this while passing on our travels
Arrived back in Cromwell this afternoon as part of our autumn pilgrimage to Central Otago. This cache was one of the few in the area that we hadnt already found. Nice to have a simple multi. Both stages were quick finds. #7350. TFTC.
Yes it was an easy multi - thanks for setting up and showing us another part of Cromwell we haven't visited before.
My husband and i are on holidays from BrisbAne Australia and travelling around the south island for 2 weeks. Today we travelled from Wanaka to Queenstown and stopped to pick up a few smileys along the way. This was as the title says a nice easy multi. At the first WP my husband checked out the cemetery while i found the information needed and then it was off to find the cache with thanks to the hint was a easy find. Thanks wombats 4 for all the fun
Queenstown to Wanaka today via Cromwell. We grabbed a few caches on the way.Found stage one and realised we would have to backtrack - but not far so all good and a quick find at final TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
13:56 Visited the place where the final is next to today. Not knowing that this cache is there, but even had the thought "there could be a cache here". Then went away, got this waypoint note, and discovered that the final was back where I had just come from Easy multi indeed. Filled another day in the calendar. 95 multi's needed.Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, wombats_4!#10129
Out with Natalie247 grabbing some caches in Cromwell today. Quick find TFTC wombats 4
Well I am back in town to cycle the Dunstan trail for a second time, and to avenge this DNF on 1/4/23, when Wp1 was missing. Thankfully the CO checked, and replaced it straight away, and kindly gave me the co-ords to the final. So here I am again, this time easily finding the cache, a matter of reaching for ......Happy to be signing the log, thanks wombats_4 for the hide and the assistance all those months ago
Got first stage a few months ago, was coming back thru and decided to tick it off. Tftc
Todyas a multi dot day and I'm heading to Queenstown for the night.. Nice to get a cache for that challenge outside of my area and get an easy cache before heading on to the hotel. Thanks for the placement!
TFTC wombats_4, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 2 find(s) of 2 today, making this find #4129

We're not petrol heads, but there's a good coffee stop nearby. Having said that, driving the public road that is the Bathurst track is well worth it for the experience (60 kph max) plus caches, of course! Warmed up to 0°C at times this morning. Thanks wombats_4
A nice quick 2 finds!. Thanks for placing your cache. Occaisionally signed MK+KR on some of the caches today, and apologies for the generic logs.
Ms_KR and I are heading to Invercargill for a tramping club 75th jubilee, so we left a bit early in hope that the weather would be fine, so we could get a bit of caching in. So far it has been good, fingers crossed for the rest of the time away.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

We're not racecar type of people so we wouldn't have come out here if it hadn't been for the cache. We rode our bikes through town and then out here and to the other cache nearby. Since we were right at the racetrack, we figured we may as well ride on in and see what all the fuss was about.
A trip around Cromwell checking on caches. Still in the hide at hint place, though it had cache crept to another 'R' moved back to original placement.
Blind today. Might go do the adventure lab. Found wp 1 easy but no sign of a container at wp2
Today was the day to do a scenic roadie via Kingston to collect a few leftover items.
Stopped here to snaffle this one. Found with downsouthinv and Abbykitt

Finally we got to pick up the last few thing we left behind from Kingston.
So an early morning start and pick up the bits and pieces and decide to do the round trip and pick up some supplies to make some jam .
So this was our first stop on the way though the Cromwell area .
Now to get back on the road .
A quick work out and we are off to nab the goods
Getting out and about in to the out doors is my happy place so any excuse to go caching.
Life is short. Live one foot step at a time.Never say" I'm gonna "- Just do it!!
Thanks for the hide

Today out to solve this multi I heeded a more experienced cachers hint.... take a photo, no chance of getting next coordinates wrong. Great advice as I didn't think middle of a paddock was correct. Soon we were back on track and had cache located, signed and replaced correctly, as per hint, and gone before Street Racing started.
Out and about enjoying the history of our country and discovering hidden gems.

All was going well until we rocked up to GZ and a man on his ride-on mower came over to see if we were lost? okay? sober? We reassured him and then went in for the find. Nice multi thanks
Found with StreetWalker on a day trip to Cromwell from Wanaka where we are currently staying.
When we first started caching many moons ago, most multis were like this, i.e. find the co-ords hidden at each WP). Took a few minutes to find the WP, then off to the final for a quick find. Time to head to the historic precinct for a late lunch and coffee. TFTC.

No racing to be heard on track but we are racing around the mountain to reach the peak... Lovely simple but fun multi, Mrs pipped TT at the post... TFTEM Wombats
A quick easy 600 points to climb Kilamanjaro. Was going for my third find in a row, but Penny spoiled my hatrick, finding it first, I wasn't dark about it at all! GRRR...
#20489. There were lots of hint objects at WP1, and spotting the right one took a minute or two. Quick find at the final. TFTC.
I had planned for today to try to locate and sign off the rest of Cromwell's caches.
Then it was off across the road, under the bridge, and heading towards Queenstown. This track is a bit different from the Cromwell-Clyde one.
After Stage 1 I decided to ride my bike back to where I had left my cachemobile before heading back to the final and then on to the Real Ice Cream Parlour on my way back to my snail shell.
Cheers for the cache.

Bruh the rock in question was covered in leaves! We took ages to find that huge circliuar rock, but a nice final earning us a nice multi
we had this solved in no time thanks for the cache .
Today was set aside to do a geo caching day to Cromwell if the weather was unsuitable for skiing which is was , so we set off early at about 8.30 and finally arrived home about 5.30 with approx 41 caches in total including the adventure lab , so we were very pleased. we took a muggle who have been intro' to geocaching briefly on a few days before and so today was a big geo caching experience for her and as i had 2 GPS's with me she was able to use one quite independently by half was thro the day.
we enjoyed spending some time at the historic Cromwell area which none of us had actually explored before and where we had lunch at the Grain cafe.
we only had 2 DNFs and both were of puzzle style caches which we had solved but there was nothing at GZ.
thank you for these caches

We're hunting Tour caches and anything that's not slowing down our objective to much. We scored 3x nights at Rotary Glen with max occupancy of 10 vans. The plan was just staying 2 nights but it's just to nice here. We never explored Cromwell, just raced through so we're going to make the most of it. The wind is already picking up and growing into a decent storm as the day progresses. An easy multi indeed. Good parking and a quick find. Thank you wombats_4
We are out and about in the area finding some caches and enjoying exploring and revisiting other areas again.
This cache is certainly appropriately named, one of the easiest I've completed.
Thank you wombats_4.

3. cache today before probably last trip to Glenorchy (visit my boyfriend living there, but moving). Easy, all good. Nice animal statue here - I am luckily not afraid of this species .
Cache 414 While doing the traditional cache in the cemetery, I shot over to the first stage of this multi to grab the needed info for phase two, then zoom zoom zoom off to GZ and had the hand quickly in hand ️ yip this is a nice quick easy multi a good one to knock off the list cache in great shape T4TC
And so it was easy!! We found the first waypoint and then moved on to the final where M found the cache.
Down here for work, so taking a bit of a site see in the evening
thanks for the placement

Found on a caching two day journey into Central Otago and Southland with Bitsprayer. Really enjoyed the challenge of the puzzle caches and the many hours spent to unravel the coordinates. Also great to travel along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
Had a great drive around Central Otago and Southland today, a wee bit of rainat the start, then a hot day many thanks to all the cache placer's. Thanks Bitsprayer
It was indeed an easy multi but nonetheless fun for that. Great item at final location with local significance
Finally some South Islanders. The waypoint was a quick easy find, and with final coordinates in hand, the final was also quickly located, although we did get sprinkled a bit. TFTC
2TF. Where are the local cachers? First two finds belong to North Island cachers. TFTC.
It's pretty rare I get a FTF nowadays; rarer I get two; even rarer I get those FTFs so far from "home", being New Plymouth.
Today is one such day. After scoring the FTF on the CO's puzzle cache we've arrived here to score a second {FTF}. Not where I expected but an easy multi and find. TFTC
