Getting used to these ones and where they are hidden. As a result it was in the first place I looked. Nice little spot. TFTC
I was heading over to visit family who live by the Bay... and do some shopping for them in the "Big Blue Box" store on the way... so I thought I would look for some more caches on my way... in the Monash LGA. I thought that this little group of three would be a profitable stop... only to discover when I arrived that two of the three are missing. Oh well, at least this one was still there... and easily found. Thanks **Cherryslice88** for the cache.
Out and about on a beautiful Spring day. When I first arrived, there was a couple right where I wanted to be, so I headed to a nearby cache first. Upon my return, they had left, so I was able to make a quick find unimpeded.
Thanks to Cherryslice88 for the cache.

Spent all day in bed so I had less than an hour before midnight to get a cache logged for this months challenge.
Drove over to this park and walked to the cache. Once at GZ it was a nice quick find in the first place I checked, log signed and replaced as found.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.

A busy weekend of events, CITOs, and occasional caches.
Variable weather, but stayed dry most of the time.
It must be hard for an area when a large employer closes like that.
Interesting history of the players.
Luckily it was an easy find as I felt that the park was being overlooked from all those windows.
Thanks, Robmc.

I had a friend who had worked here for many years, it was a sad day when it closed.

Last time I was here IIRC it was a public holiday and the families from the various bordering houses were camped out, enjoying the open space.
I didn't even attempt a search and moved onto the next cache immediately.
This time, in the dark and cold weather I had no observers at all, not even a doggle and their owner.
Cache found very quickly.

It was all quiet near GZ and a quick find. This was just as well as the location seemed a little exposed. It was a scenic location but all the nearby properties face on to the park area. Thanks to Cherryslice88 for the cache.
Sat on seat and contemplated where it is while other people about buy a long search afterwards it still aluded us
Great stealth was required to perform this maintenance. 2 adults, 1 child and 3 dogs within 20m of me. Did they want to move? No. At least it was a placement not a search. That would have been more difficult.

Had a nice rest on the park bench as we waited for some residents to go home for the evening. Once cleared we got on our way to searching. We have a good idea on where this should be but found nothing close by even after a long hard search
Found on ground - maybe washed out in rain??!! Will put back where we think it came from tftc
Found out in open on ground, bit wet. DaisyRunner and I placed back where thought it should be. TFTC
With the weather about to close in and in being almost time to head back to uni for Learner driver son, this was today's last find.
A neat little container in a likely spot. Muggle-free here today, so no problems retrieving, signing and resetting.

It‘s been a while since I‘ve dined at the Cherryslice Café. Nice spot to pause and sit in the sun whilst snacking.
Hard to imagine a factory here on this peaceful site.
The nearby gums looked like goal posts

I had a lot to do with this subdivision when it was built so it’s nice to come back and revisit. Thanks

A nice little location for an easy find here today.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today for without those who would hide, there is nothing for those who would find.

Another quick find thanks. You can tell the houses were all built about the same time. Looks very similar to the houses in the Commonwealth games village in Parkville.
Quick find but I did trip and hurt my knee on the footpath walking here! Not an adventure cache but one of my worse geocaching injuries!
Found by Facitman and j-facit at 17:30
j-facit and I continued our exploring of Brockhoff-land. It's an interesting little estate and while I miss the baking smells from the old factory it's certainly nicely laid out streets.
Another nice hide for an urban cache as searching was completed without undue attention from any passing cars or people, The cache was exactly where I expected so it was logged and replaced without incident.
Thanks Cherryslice88

Out for our exercise / walk and to pick up this cache. Although there was some Muggles on the other side of the opening they were far enough away not to notice us, but stealth was required due to the close proximity of the nearby houses. This area has changed significantly since the biscuit factory ceased operation. A relatively quick find was made before there was a heavy shower of rain. TFTC and bringing us back to the area.
Yippeeee a quick find, beware of red back spider. Watch where you put your hands. TFTC.
I needed a fast and (hopefully) easy find within 5km for my 366 grid and this seemed to tick all the boxes.
At approx. 2.40pm GZ was completely bare of any human-type activity, bar my own, so it was a simple matter to locate the cache, sign the log, visit a trackable and be on my way again in just a few minutes.
Thanks for the cache, and the history lesson, Cherryslice88. For better or worse I'm old enough to remember Savoy and Malt-O-Milk biscuits still being Brockhoff rather than Arnott's biscuits growing up!

A beautiful Easter Saturday with nothing planned so decided to check out a few caches in the Burwood/Ashburton area.
Who would have though a biscuit factory was once here.
Quick, easy find with the clue

With the park empty of humans only Masked Lapwings, Magpies,Red Wattlebirds to listen to the find was made. Thanks for the location
I found this cache today on my Burwood to Glen Iris Parks an Gardens Tour. Having worked at the old Arnott's factory for the last 6 years of it's life, it is hard to imagine that this used to be roughly the site of my old office. The offices ran just to the north of the 4 oven runs. A quicker pick up here. Thanks from D B-A
A short stroll from the previous find had me in this delightful shared garden/park. I spent a few minutes imagining our life here and it was quite idyllic! A straightforward hide. It's just a matter of waiting for the gentleman and daughter walk past and hoping that there is no one watching from any of the windows. TFTC

3/4 Cherryslice88 caches tonight. Now allowed to go beyond 5 km and a netball match at Ashwood brought me to the area.
Very warm evening and people are up and about and someone was on their phone at GZ. Moved onto the cache further on - also with a muggle watering - so aborted that one. Returned here. Ah. All clear to get a quick find. TFTC.

I forgot the biscuits and would like a Tim tam right now! Who would have thought this was once a factory site. Quite a quant peaceful spot. Thanks for the history
We had no idea that we have actually eaten so many of the Arnott's brand biscuits. After much discussion, I think Scotch Fingers are my favourites. GT37 liked too many to list. Neither of us knew that this was the site of this company. Thanks for the cache and the history lesson.
Out enjoying some recreation in the now expanded 25km zone. Good to spend some time outdoors and good to have some outdoor social interaction after so long.
I was never an assorted creams fan but much preferred a nice or teddy bear biscuit. Coat it in chocolate and you have a winner!
Thanks Cherryslice88 for placing the hide!

Quick find to start off a nice sunny day but had a bit of trouble getting the lid back on. TFTC
A great opportunity to sit in the sun and quietly remember when to could enjoy the smell of fresh biscuits wafting across this area. TFTC.

Hmm, an interesting story behind this patch of real estate. Found with omegaman1971 while grabbing a few caches in the area and this cache was a nice quick find in a very quiet gz. Now l feel like a cuppa of tea and a teddy bear biscuit, thanks Cherryslice88 for highlighting this area and the reason behind the hide.
