Logs
TFTC Ajoeter101. Quick grab before heading back to Maitland from a gymnastics competition at the SGAC.
ajoeter101 I found your cache Ellen Dale Reserve on 10/10/2024, 3:35pm. This is my find 7124 and find # 17 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found but almost missed it being in where it was. Good spot and safe can be retrieved with a natural tool laying around. TFTC
Tftc - walked from the nearby shipping centre. Quick find thanks to previous log spoiler. Realised I forgot pen
Exactly where I first thought it was but it still took a couple of searches around the area... Make sure to be thorough
Looked in all possible locations at GZ, minding the D/T classification, but could not find the cache.
Had fun finding this one in the cover of the night. I didn't have a pen in my car like I thought! But I'll come back and sign.
Hmm no idea unfortunately. Been a while since it was found but previous logs suggest it’s not too straightforward
Liberty bells are ringing today....
Sold our investment property AND found a cache....what more can a gal ask for!!

Yes, that definitely took longer than it should have. It was exactly at my GZ but I only gave it a lazy search at 1st
Find #: 2,568
Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Grey autumn morning
Cache condition: Good
I ran the new parkrun at Whalan Reserve and then decided to find some nearby caches to add to the experience; this was my final cache for the morning. It was a bit convoluted to get to the parking spot (but still the right decision given the lack of viable parking areas at the roundabout). Once at GZ I was fortunate to quickly spot the container - TNLNSL, TFTC

Found it. It took us awhile to find this one. We looked high and low several times with no luck. We widened our search with no luck. Finally we had to paf. With a clue in hand we went straight back to where we started and before long Bushiee had the cache in hand. TFTC
Filling in an hour before a family function, swung by a few potentially quick grabs nearby. Had attempted this one shortly after publication as I travelled between a wedding and reception and ran out of time to spend too much with the tricky search. At the right angle today, tricky turned to sneaky but also a very quick smiley.
After completing the new series in Tregear Reserve I decided to head home along the freeways to save time (definitely not money). As I wound my way to the freeway this cache was almost on the way so I stopped for it.
This street seems to be where Learner Drivers practice. There were several here during the short time I was here.
The cache was a quick find. There is a lot of rubbish dumped near GZ. One piece would have made an excellent cache container, but considering the times I left it there.
I wonder who Ellen Dale was and what she did to have a reserve named in her honour??

Teamed up with marj01 for a days caching, our first outing in a while. The break from caching has sharpened marj01's senses as he was on fire today when it came to finding the hides. TFTC ajoeter101.
After I PAF who lives nearby GZ to check the status of the cache, yes he said the cache is MIA (missing in action). I'll double check this soon and replace it if necessary.
#5170- After searching in as many spots as I could find, I used a paf to move my search very close by for a 'doh' moment. Take care- the tree isbeimg damaged unnecessarily. Day 3 of the challenge done. Thanks
Wow! This took longer than expected. Searched everywhere and read previous logs before finding this sneaky hide. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

Thought it was about time to put some more smileys on the map in our local area. Went along with ilook4geo and had a successful day. This was not a quick and easy find and took some fine tuned feeling and a process of elimination. We were happy to get it in hand and signed the log. All was then replaced and we were off on the hunt again. Thanks go to ajoeter101 for this cache placement.
Started out today with goingplaces2 to collect some nearby caches. We had a lot of fun and found what we wanted. All logs were signed or had initials added. Each was then hidden again to keep it safe. This was a quite tricky hide and was a good one to find. TFTC.
Such a simple hide and yet, I seemed to set up camp, having rest breaks between search sessions. In the end, I felt it as I couldn't see it. GZ had me 3m away from my final finding place but thanks for the grief given, ajoeter101
#6724 (3 of 3 today)
Out for a few finds just after lunchtime. Decided to target three new caches at Plumpton and places , OK place, north.
Found all three I went for and had a chat with a neighbour muggle at one cache.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked in Spencer Street and walked to GZ. I'd barely started the search when I was approached by a muggle (from the right hand duplex at the end of the street) who said he'd noticed a number of people recently looking around here, and saying he assumed they were playing a game. So I did a quick explanation of Geocaching. He was fine with it, and left me to continue my search.
Took longer than it should when I just spotted a sliver of the container. Made the grab and signed the log. Back for the replace and away.
No sign of the muggle anymore so he still doesn't know exactly where it is.
Time to head home.

Heading home from out west and all these new caches popped up. With a tight schedule, took a quick detour to search for this. Arrived and was greeted by Rainbow Spirit who had already found, logged, replaced and was ready to drive to next FTF. He kindly gave me a hint as I was pressed for time. TFTC!
A FTF right across from my best friends house, how’s that for a cache?, just a pity I woke him to see if he wanted to help search, you see he drives interstate trucks and wasn’t happy when I woke him up...
