The conditions here seem to have changed and the hint didn’t seem particularly relevant to the GZ. Maybe check to confirm it is still here?
On a Sunday afternoon drive, could see things have changed here. I have removed the cache and will replace it when the work is finish.
(Count #) Day trip to Ashhurst and environs. A successful day caching. Quite a bit of work going on at the site then had to wait for muggles to pass by. A quick find and safe as nicely tucked away. Thanks for bringing me here.
Was travelling back to Palmy today from Gisborne in the pouring rain. Fortunately it stopped rained when I got here and I had just enough time and daylight to find this cache. Not sure what to expect as I approached GZ as workmen had clearly been busy here. Still they missed the cache and I was soon able to sign the log. Beware - workmen plus rain equals mud. Thanks Popmac for the smiley.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and family... We ditched the family - they wanted to go to the markets and shopping, and we wanted to go caching - an easy solution...
After a ponder on the hint, we did a quick systematic search. Thanks Popmac and TFTC.

What to do on a long weekend. Organise a trip to the mighty Manawatu So here we are. Team BoP on a mission. Cheers for bringing me here. Day two of a great trip.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Team BOP back together after a 3 month hiatus - this time hitting the Manawatu with our sights set on some Labs, some geo-art & everything else that crosses our path ??
We’ve signed our logs as Team BOP to save time and log space and have thoroughly enjoyed the journey so far. Pleasantly surprised that very little maintenance has been required and that most caches have been found quickly & without fuss.
While I am cut&pasting these logs using the Cachly ‘text template’ I do genuinely appreciate the work put into these caches, particularly some of the puzzles. Cheers and TFTC ????

I've been wondering when I might get around to doing this cache, thinking I would save it for a dot day. But today I wanted to find a few caches to ensure that I end up with 250 finds for January to qualify for a Challenge Cache.
So after popping in to say hello to a mate down the road a bit, I stopped by here to quickly grab this one. A very quick find, and with no-one else to be seen I was able to sign the log at leisure and replace as found.
Thanks for setting up this cache.

Out with the CO and he threatened to stop driving unless I found this cache, which I did, begrudgingly. Thanks for the cache

Early morning bike ride across town to check on this one after two DNF. It's gone. Replaced it, back to where it had been, new hint.
No joy here for me today. The pouring rain didn't help. Will return on a better day.
I must've had the old co ords loaded in my gpsr (unknown to me at the time) so initially I was searching near the footpath. After reading a couple of logs and making sense of the hint I was able to redirect my search and quickly came up trumps. My gpsr was pointing to where I was initially searching some 13m away. Almost the dreaded DNF here so was glad for the find.

It was approx my 4th visit here as on earlier visits there have been construction or railway workers in the vicinity, or I was trying the wrong side using the previous hint.
Great to find GZ clear of workers tonight and a very safe-looking railway crossing constructed here.
Quick find using the new hint... but sadly I see that the cool sign is still not preventing lazy dog owners from leaving a mess.

Today was a dot day so I thought I'd look for some caches near each other for a walk in the OK, despite the cold wind, weather. I saw three that would make for an about 2.5km walk and picked those. I managed to find two of the three before heading off to get ready for work this evening.
This was my final find for the day and was spotted exactly where I thought it would be thanks to the subtle clue.

With time to fill waiting to do a prearranged parcel pickup nearby I called in here to try and grab this cache. Especially as my actual planned geocache adventuring later after work may be thwarted by cold and scattered showers. Couldn’t see the cache to begin with but quickly apparent as I kicked aside some covering rank blackberry growth. Then the delicate job of extracting the cache from among said blackberry thorns. Accomplished, signed and returned. TFTC
*P.S. Weather cleared later to allow me a window of opportunity to complete my planned adventure too.*

After discussion with the C. O. i rode my bike up to the G Z and yes there it was all safe and sound and dry. By using my good manners and then waiting for muggles to pass by, i was able to locate and retrieve the treasure , then sign it and then once again wait for muggles and family to all cycle by while i played with my bag! and then i could return it to its hiddey hole. Thank you for this cache as this is my second cycle here to look but the cycle walk way here is quite interesting and probably deserves another cache or two.
thank you for this cache

We're trying to keep any new local caches aside for a possible challenge activity that is likely to arise in this 2020 celebration year, otherwise we have to travel long distances now to find caches unfound by us. However, today Mrs G just HAD to get at least one cache , and it was a beautiful day to be out as well. So we decided on a trip out to the lovely Pohangina Valley, going via James Line for this cache.
When we arrived all was quiet and it didn't take long to locate the cache. However, before we could re-hide it a young boy came along on his bike and took up residence nearby - turned out he was waiting for his Dad to catch up! Eventually Dad was spotted in the distance and with that distraction Mrs G quickly slipped the cache back in place. Hope it's okay as there was very little time to do it and no time to check it. #11,719. Park and short walk on James Line in Kelvin Grove, Palmerston North. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Took a little bit of searching, as the GPS was bouncing around somewhat here. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Have had this one on my mind for a few days, since it's just a wee walk from home and has been calling out to me!
Quick find once I worked out the clue. Nice to see no more green dots amongst my "home patch" smilies.

Day three of my road trip from Auckland to Nelson in my newly acquired convertible cachemobile. Finding a few caches along the way. All quiet at GZ this morning. Made sense of the hint and found the cache in a logical spot. TFTC, Biggles.
I went to investigate this cache at an ideal time,20:00 hrs, there were no muggles about!A quick find and a good cache.Wrote the log and re-concealed carefully. All in excellent condition. Thanks for the cache!
Had to wait for a muggle family to go past before searching. Not the most pleasant dog parcel right by GZ haha
Another beaut day! TFTC

I have been up the bay with watcache, and they called in on this one as they discovered that it had gone live while we were away, as I have no say in where they take me I guess I just tagged along for the ride find, watcache went straight to the cache, log signed and replaced as found
Thanks for the placement and the smiley.

On our way from being up the bay noticed this one had gone live while away so swung by here .
We did not know that this walkway was here nice little shortcut to whakarongo for the walkers and cyclists.
Pulled up as close as we were able 53 metre's away had a look at the hint and ended up going straight to it.
thanks for bringing us here and the smiley

Edit: What a treat to have a cache published so close to home and while I was at home and not otherwise occupied. I hopped on my bike straight away and arrived at GZ a couple of minutes later. Without entering private property I was unable to get closer than 7m so started the search. I struggled on this one and 10 minutes later, while I was still looking, all7ofusnz arrived. We spread out and soon all7ofus jr had the cache in hand.
This is a very popular walkway particularly before and after school (8:00-8:40am and 3:00-3:45pm) which I use regularly so I'll keep an eye on the cache. People should avoid searching between these hours.
Thanks for the placement Popmac.

Received the notification email a few minutes after the publication and made a quick decision to go for the first-to-find as the cache was reasonably close to home. Pulled over just up the road from the location and saw stardust718 at GZ, clearly still searching for the cache so we were in with a chance. Jr. Cacher #2, who had tagged along for the ride, finally made the find after a bit of a search for a joint {FTF} at 4:32 PM. TFTC Popmac.
