Logs
This cache has seen better days. The lid doesn't hold very well. The logbook was dry, but has been wet in the past. I could easily write my name in it tough. Nice walk in the wood to get this one, at least no dog poo around...
Fell open when i touched it! Sodden inside. Carefully replaced lid, did not sign, photo for proof.
Nice and easy find. Container may need maintenance as the cover fell off very easily and tape has lost stickiness.
Log on ground, still dry. Put bits back together but it won't last like this, as the hinge connection is broken
log to follow - I'm writing this to get my numbers up to date before a big caching day out tomorrow 15th April - especially as find #5,000 is in clear view I want to keep accurate track of my numbers.
on map looks like it in the park but as got closer in forest with electric fence that i couldn;t find way around without longer walk and I was on time schedule to get back to bus and had flight to catch

Quick find although container and log book are a bit worse for wear and may need replacing. TFTC!
Nice and easy. Love the easy ones and awesome container. Found the log almost unusable wet on the ground next to the cache, and the lid abit further down. Thanks for the caches & room for swag
TFTC. Broken and log on ground. However dry and able to be signed. Returned to container and placed back together as best I could. Lovely day to be out and about
Cool cache.
I have no idea how one can look inconspicuous retrieving and replacing logs from this type
Luckily it is far from the street/houses and the location is all but deserted.
Fun find- thanks

Doing a few caches in the area, how do people put up with the smell ? anyway thanks for the cache (Fav)
Found on a walk around Linfield park. First visit to this park and very quiet this morning. Nice hide, TFTC!
Nice wee bit of first. Who'd have thought Christchurch had a town belt? The container has been damaged and the log is a bit wet.
Short trip to Christchurch to find some caches with tmann421.

Another morning walk with Fozzie and Alfie the geodogs. Coordinates spot on so the clever cache was quickly found. TFTC, Biggles.

This is the least electrified fence I have touched
But really, I usually try electric fences out with my hand, and they are normally pretty mild around NZ anyway but this one, you can barely feel the pulse.
Sensory cache indeed
Kia ora! Paldies!

Interesting little paddock and cache, they must be worried about something in there escaping! Cheers
Tape was off and log had gone for a run so put back together. First aiders here repaired with two band aides should hold for a while. Thanks for the hunt!
This one didn't take long to spot once we climbed over the Stile. We had it all back in place when a Muggle came walking along the fence line..What must he thought we were doing..TFTH
I needed to find 5 caches today in my personal challenge to bring my total finds for the 6th September up to 26 and thus into a deeper shade of green on GC's Statistic Daily Finds Calendar
The nearest group of 5 unfounds were in the Pages Rd area. It was only a short walk through the forest to this GZ. Interesting little container. TFTC BW. That's 2 down, just 3 more to find.

Neat little stroll across the park while watching some footy. Over the stile and there it was. Great little container. Thanks BW.
Quick find, nice container. Threw the log when I found a spider on it but it’s all back safe (and hopefully without any more!). TFTC.
We came to this cache crossing styles trhough the forest, after having tried unsuccessfully to open the Geo Mail lockbox. There was a football match going on in the nearby playing fields, but we were pretty far away. The cache was soon spotted, and the logbook retrieved and signed. TFTC!
With Baird out again after lockdown, taking Ralph the turtle for a walk quick easy find, tftc creative fastening!
Nice quick find. So good to be out caching today under level two. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2369
An afternoon adventure with busy paws and lytteltonwitch. We had the sense not to get shocked. Thanks brodiewill.
Down in Christchurch visiting my elderly mother and picking up a few caches this afternoon. My log is similar to the one immediately below because that was written by my sister visiting our elderly mother just a week before I did.
Found this cache reasonably quickly. The container is/was home to myriad earwigs!
#3199. TFTC.

Down in Christchurch visiting my elderly mother and picking up a few caches this morning. This is another great one - very creative caches from brodiewill, TFTC
Easy find when looking at the name of this cache. The tape needs to be addressed since the cache book was on the ground, have done my best to stick it shut again. Tftc
Today I was after three caches to bring my total for the date up to 11, and look at that - this park has three in it!
This was my second stop, easily spotted before finding my way over the fence to pop it open. The earwigs that had taken up residence weren't happy, but soon found little gaps to hide in while I signed the log.

8361. Dropped Iris off at the airport (Wellington to visit her Mum). Checked out one of our own caches and did seven others “on the way home”. This was find number 3. A clever hide but a very easy find. Safely negotiated the electric fence. Thanks. Rodney
I was pleased that there was a safe way over the gence. After I found the geocache I discovered that the fence was to keep the bulls in. Thanks brodiewill for placing this geocache it is find 8339 for me.

It was a quick find and log but closing this 'container' took a while. A smaller logbook might help (?). As the tape was wet I struggled a bit. Checked on my way back to the car 2 hours later and it was still fine.
TFTC Brodiewill for making this cache.

Very clever and a quick find and I have just realised that I have been signing logbooks with tomorrow’s date
Sensor was open and log book lying on the ground. It doesn't seem to stay shut very well. Velcro might work? Tftc.

This cache has the most number of earwigs living in it that I have ever seen! Luckily the log book was protected from them, Tftc!
Lovely morning with two caching buddies warfi and c-road, Glad the day is not as hot as the 37 from yesterday.
Nice day for a stroll in a big deserted park. Like the way this one is constructed- good job, thanks
A nice quick find after a small walk. thanks.
It's a nice day for catching up on some local caching. Not too hot nor too cold, and a few ftf to chase (unsuccessfully)
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a warm Saturday afternoon jaunt around the Linwood / Wainoni area to polish of unfound caches in the area. Eleven looked for and eleven found , always good to have just smiles. All brodiewill caches, and I really appreciate the effort you put into your hides.
After finding Cuthberts Tree Hotel, we walked on to this cache. The electric fence was a bit of a worry and pleased to find a stile to cross, but even so, as I have had a few run ins with fences before, I let SW cross the fence and find the cache while I stayed safely on the other side . He scared away a few resident earwigs. Another novel cache container.
Time to call it a day and head home for a coffee. Thanks for all your cache hides, looking forward to finding more. TFTC.

#17773. Last find of the day and another nice BW hide. Not sure why there is an electric fence here. TFTC.
We wondered why an electric fence? There was a suitable spot to climb over and have an easy find. TFTC
Out for an evening cache. I have never actually been to this park before. Brought the geo pooch out for a walk as it was a nice big area. Getting nearer to GZ I had to manhandle the geo pooch over the fence. After a bit of a wander around, I relised that I had been spotted by a couple of men with handheld devices. Great to catch up with TheWanglers and awesome to meet Team_Gaters. The cache was soon in hand and log signed and replaced. It may need some attention in keeping it closed. After a chat we parted ways, Me heading home, While TG and TW's night was just beginning. Thanks for the chat guy's. And the cache. :-
