Had a check on the way past recently. Goneskis. Successive floods have shown that this is not a long-term-option for the cache.
No luck for us today. Searched for 10 minutes and then searched a little more. Judging by the flood debris high in the remaining trees and comparing the photos, I’m guessing this one has gone. Thanks for bringing us here regardless.
Slow Puncture (LJCC) I didn’t find your cache My Friend Stan on 25/8/2022, 3:04 pm. If I can see it I’ll access attempt to climb but couldn’t see it in any of the trees near GZ.
Spent 30 minutes looking for this one matching up photos from previous finder and the tree no longer stands. Unless it’s been moved elsewhere we’re not sure.
Muggle65 and I have had a massive day caching around Kilkivan. The sun has long gone and we are caching with torches now but we have a very bad case of Just One More. This area has been affected quite badly by the high waters but the cache was still in play. Thank you for bringing us to this very interesting spot.
Up early this morning & off to find the FTF unleashed by Team JLBL & like all those preceding us ?????? no luck finding this one!!! But we aren’t claiming an DNF, just accepting partial frustration.
?????? & I looked for what seemed forever unmolested by muggles at 8:30am in the morning.
So leaving that location we had more success down the road at the challenge caches ?????? and then off to Tiaro & onward to our main hunting ground in the Kilkivan area.
Starting our day before the sun came up, we finished it a couple of hours prior to the sun coming up the next day, Simply because a FTF opportunity came up just after we arrived home & had started to relax. So at Midnight we sent off for a bicycle ride along the gateway to finally claim a FTF for the day?? or was that for tomorrow???
Don’t care!!! Going home to sleep ?? sleep ?? ?? ??.

Lucky it is well secured as the recent flood waters were over a meter above the cache. Found on a stroll walls camped at the Cruice reserve on the way to Imbil.
Love little adventures. We chose to approach on foot. Not a fan of cobblers pegs. Retrieved signed returned. Tftc
With the borders finally released I'm making the most of the time of the Christmas break seeing my family. Family being what it is Genghicat and I have escaped with the excuse of a shopping run... and the most important thing, a cache. With limited mobility I had feared that this cache would be beyond me, but it turned out an easy one to retrieve. Having Genghicat with me certaunly helped. I am so out of practice and it was signed it before I arrived. Of well. Can't win them all.... but so should have. It was right above where I'd been standing.
Cache is in good condition. Tftc

After turning in we found ourselves on the old section of road. We drove to where the GPS indicated we needed to stop. A quick find once we located the correct area to focus on.
Thanks Slow Puncture for this hide.

Up at stupid o'clock so I could get to Woodford Golf Club for a 6am tee off (it certainly wasn't my idea). Struggled all morning and lost far too many balls, so on the way home (for a cuppa then a nice snooze) I stopped to pick up a cache or two as I'm not up in this part of the world too often.
Feeling totally lazy, I drove to GZ and soon spotted the container against the light brown of a tree.
Thanks!!

Out for a drive after dropping my husband and friends at kilcoy races. I followed the directions to an interesting spot. Wow thats a narrow crossing. It was not long until i spotted this cache and i was surprised that i could reach it with no trouble. Thanks for taking me to this interesting spot and for placing a cache here
An early morning stop in the middle of the road on our way west today. We spotted the cache and signed the log and replaced as found next to the cut down tree. All good here. Thanks Slow Puncture.
Picking up some caches whilst on my way to attend QOGM 2021 Paroo at Cunnamulla.
Cache found after a short search, on the adjacent tree. No need to climb, just need a long reach. Cache in good condition.

Aha found after reading previous logs as could see the original tree had been cut down! TFTC
Cache found and moved to a nearby tree as the original tree has been cut down.
After spending many hours at the Woodford show watching puppies, horses and crazy dog/horse people the usual Friday caching suspects made our way out of town to find another couple of caches... Without doing any research, this was our next stop after finding Old Woodford Town... Some discussion was had about accessing GZ, and eventually, PirateLinda followed 2ManyTrailers and I down the old road in the car (perhaps a little too closely at times)... Once at GZ Piratelinda announced what had to be done, and I may have groaned... Our usual climber was back in Brisbane feeling unwell, so it was up to me to retrieve the cache... my companions appeared surprised that I managed to make our mark in situ... Once was enough, and I don't recall swearing at all....
TFTC... oh... and not a snake, red bellied or otherwise to be seen today... but I may have been too busy contemplating a life in traction to notice...

Found with Peppa and 2manytrailers after our day at the Woodford show. Didn't know Peppa could swear so much - we should put him in that type of retrieval position more often
With the agility of a man half his age Peppa scaled the massive tree! to retrieve the cache. Moral support from pirate Linda all ready waiting in the car! Some choice language as he made his way back down.
Blokes in their mid 70s should not be doing this but I keep thinking I am only 30 so with some kind of sorry agility I have placed my stamp sign on the log all is in good condition here today
There was a large Red Belly Black snake about 15 metres from this location on other side of road sunning itself please be aware of snakes when caching
TOTT on an old road - completely normal!! LOL
On our way north for the day and decided that bung knee or not - we better get this one.

My daughter had joined us today for a drive through Beerwah and Peachester. I think she felt obliged to join us after we had helped her organise a new car but I would have been happier if instead she cleaned her room or did the washing up.
Our daughter had also reached her caching limit so we decided to make this the last cache of the day. We drove right up to GZ and I jumped out to hopefully make a quick find so I could return her to the comfort of home and YouTube.
When I couldn’t find it, my wife and daughter begrudgingly got out of the car to help. It was our kid that saw the tree climb attribute and we refocused our search. I could see she was starting to get teenage-bedroom withdrawal symptoms so I quickly set about scaling the heights. When I was up there, I took a moment to enjoy the view but all I could see was my daughter regretting the decision she had made to join us. tftc

Found with GXYbuddy and SpectaclesOfRose on a rainy morning. #12 for our geotour. TFTC
Last week I had a niece who was prepared to head into the trees for me, sadly she is still in Mackay and not with me today so it was all up to me.
Unusually for me no blood offering was required by the caching Goddess for me to make the find. I was quite chuffed that I managed to get up and back down without stuffing it all up.

OMG I found it AND climbed a tree to get it. Hegwig 26 and myself had been looking st how to get this one. Today we had a plan. With dog ramp on tow off we set. No so easy but. I was shaking and trembling like you wouldn't beleive. Reached it and oh no, pen is with hedwig holding ramp. She tossed it high in the air and i missed it grabbed a twig, used our brains. Log signed and down I disembark only to get to the bottom and I realize I forgot to sign Hedwig 26 as well. Please CO accept her find, it was a joint effort. A favorite point for making me step out of my comfort zone. Find 801 for this piratelady. Yoohoo me hearties.
Thanks for 64pirateLady for climbing the tree. Shaking like one of the beautiful wattle flowers she reached the cache as I held the ramp and guided her back down. Only to realise she forgot to sign both our names. Please accept this as a find. We were in it together today.
Out today on a mission to grab a few targeted caches while on a trip to a community event, seems not only Santa has a list, love the list. This was on the list, it was an easy cache to grab and an easy climb for the monkey again, seems my brawn is paying its way for the trip. My fourth cache and an easy cache to do, thank you.
With the log signed and cache replaced it was off to the next one on the list, maybe All good with this one, thanks for placing it here.

This was a desirable cache for me today as I’m collecting T3’s. Had the TOTT in the car so it proved no trouble for the climber today.
Brislions and I headed out for some 4wd driving today. It wasn't required to access all the caches, but came in very handy at one or two. Now we were headed to our next target for the day. As we were passing this cache, we stopped off so that I could make the find. With my name added to the log, we were soon on our way again. TFTC
Thanks slow puncture we meandered here from the other cache on the minor road. Got a photo of the old fella retrieving the cache. Old but not decrepit. Fav point alloc
Found for my 3000th cache yippee I do love a tree climb and an interesting little road TFTC
Out and about with slow puncture, getting caches from home all the way too Toowoomba. Great to spend a day again finally with the SP’s.

In the area with the lovely 4ando and jagged the geomobile over to grab this one Checked on cache health while we were here.
Out today on a mission with OBC and mini-OBC. Swung by here for a looksee. After getting started at Oh'God'its'early-O'Clock, and the mandatory coffee stop, this was the second of over 120 finds today. The sun was barely up, the coffee was only half drunk, but Suzee was up to the task, no 'parking coordinates' needed today, and the mini-one earned her ride early.
Thanks Slow Puncture for entertaining me at this location.

Out and about on a power trail today - targeting the Roses geoart (wahoo! highly recommended), the Potter Puzzles geoart, and the Hamilton power trail. It was a long but fantastic day with myself, Pprime (P') and mini oz_bean_counter, and the logs were signed as OP'X to reflect this. Started at 4 am with a check on the US election progress, in the car by 4.45 am and the first cache by 5.30 am. Home and dead tired 12 hours later, where wine and pizza were necessary to refuel the body before I crashed for the night. I was delighted to end the day with 124 finds (plus 5 DNFs, and revisited 2 caches) - a new daily record for me. I was really really happy to be celebrating that achievement with family and good friends.
Thanks for all the COs for their time and effort in placing and maintaining these caches. Apologies for the generic log.

It's a good view while you have the cache in your hand all's good at gz Thanks Slow Puncture
After grabbing another nearby cache I ventured down the old road and was soon parked near GZ. I wandered over to where the needle was pointing and then decided to check what I was looking for and even looked at the hint. Well the hint didn't help as I didn't have photos on my GPS and I thought I'd could always call the devil if needed.
I soon saw what I was after and it wasn't long and the log was in hand.[^]
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Out for a day of caching with Mrs Wombles today, we both needed a smilie here; so we made a quick detour on our way through. We parked the adventure wagon and strolled over to gz. Mrs Wombles spotted the cache, so a quick trip back to the car for a TOTT and the log was being signed Tftc Slow Puncture!
[@stortigirls](http://coord.info/PR975FF) and I were headed out towards Nanango with no real plan, a bit of a comparison of maps and a few caches to try for. This was our first stop, one both of didn't have.
Storti had her tott in the car and before long she had her hands on the cache.

Today we went on a drive out West on our caching tour to avoid being stuck in traffic when returning - due to the long weekend and visitors from New South Wales flocking into Queensland.
This was the first cache, and it was a good start - as we spotted it and got to sign the logbook.

So weird to drive it, but worked nicely! Meldob made the find here and enjoyed the thrill of the chase. Thanks very much!
Been away camping for the weekend and decided that me and my Dad would go and grab a cache on the way back. Nice easy tree climb. TFTC
Nice side track. Cool to think of the history. It took a little climbing as some of the branches are now broken. Got there in the end. TFTC
Out for a Freaky Friday with teamdfl Our original idea was kayaking at Bribie Island, but the threat of 40kph winds shelved that! Happily we both had plenty to find between Glasshouse Mountains and Bellthorpe so met up at North Lakes and travelled on in one car. First job was an AL, now we meandering along westwards using caches to guide us...
Love the side road here. Of course we parked in the middle I got to do the fetcing. TFTC, SP.

Out for a Freaky Friday with IolantheK. We started off with a plan. Meet, go do the labs at Glasshouse. With that done we were now off on an adventure to wherever the caches took us.
We ventured down the track and parked near GZ. IolantheK did the honours at this one.

We parked at the bus stop and enjoyed the walk down. What a massive tree that had come down would have been monster standing up. We were searching around a tree then I read the d/t, whoops tree climb! Looking up, Waz says there it is and we exchange stuff my pen for his wallet phone and glasses, yep don't ask. Up he went signed and back in a flash, miss spent youth. He tells me that the next tree climb is mine, ha with his memory he will have forgotten by then.

Out for the day with the geokids and Geo grandma. This was the best thing I have done in a while. I laughed sooooo hard while we tried to retrieve this one. Decided to let the young geokids be the one to grab the log for me to sign. The process of getting the log out was the best thing ever. My geokids can be hilarious and they really enjoyed doing this. TFTC. Loved it.
Heading west to Cooyar & surrounds, for a maintenance check on a stray cache we have out there, & broke the trip up with a few quick finds along the way.
2 of 9 found today.
Quickly spotted by Mr VC's eagle-eye then, after repositioning the Geo-Beast, a quick scamper had the cache in hand.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Needed a short break from being cooped up, and decided on a solo drive out in the country to keep socially distant from any possible disease transmission.
Stan was a friendly enough guy. Thought I'd been to this piece of abandoned road for a cache before, but as it turns out that was different abandoned roadway section!
A short climb and the log was in hand.

Almost needed a Blood Transfusion extracting myself from the cache location. But all good in the end

British blues singer and musician Duster Bennett was killed in a car crash. After performing with Memphis Slim Bennett was driving home in a Ford Transit van in Warwickshire, England when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel. The van collided with a truck. His first album Smiling Like I'm Happy saw him playing as a one-man band, playing a bass drum with his foot and blowing a harmonica on a rack while playing a 1952 Les Paul Goldtop guitar given to him in 1968 by Peter Green from Fleetwood Mac.

Woohoo my first serious tree climb and without TOTT. I think it's been about 45 years since I've climbed a tree so I'm pretty pleased with myself. Thanks for placing this cache
Parked "Tuna" where Mrs Slow Puncture was sat. Geowife soon spotted what we needed to retrieve so out came the TOTT (not good at climbing) and then soon had the cache in hand, log signed and returned as found. Although the search area is close to the main highway, its quiet and muggle free which is great. TFTC Slow Puncture (LJCC)
