Logs
Waiting for the last pieces to arrive so I can get the new cache containers put together. Im planning to get this trail up and going again by 15th November 2024.
Found it. Sixth of six finds today. Now at 300 finds (including 59 Adventure Lab locations). Thank you jess_harley
Venturing along the Landsdowne power trail with Storm_cacher, we raced against time to find as many geocaches as we could before the looming storm struck. Despite only getting 15 caches, it remained an incredibly enjoyable day.
#13342A nice afternoon stroll through this surprisingly nice park Cache was an easy find TFTC jess_harley
In the area between other commitments so time to try and finish off this series. Picked a different starting point to try and minimise the loop. Made good progress despite the heat. All logs signed and generally no real issues with the finds. TFTC
One of many finds after finishing a job somewhere else. With TBs Canadian Flag, Swiss Duck, Pittiplatsch and Corona Express Cruise Ship in tow.
Pretty hot day today and try to complete all power trails with 3 geo-friends and thanks for leading us here

Checking all caches in this trail today. Replaced cache and change in location to make it more secure.
Idk, searched for 45mins and how can the last two find it easily. All mulch has been cleared around the base of all trees within 20m of GZ, hmmm
Again, GPS had us dancing all over the place with the high levels of tree cover. We exhausted searching around the less vegetated areas, but the gps kept pointing us back to the much more leafy undergrowth, which we were reluctant to trample around in lest we find any surprise snakes! We will come back to look again on a cooler day
I spent an embarrassing amount of time looking for the cache, but guess it's just not in the cards today. A lot of long grass and trees debris making it difficult
Had some help from the logs and photos as my gps bounced around here a lot. Finally found logbook is soggy. Drained excess water from cache but still wet. Tftc
Great start to my day, walking around Boggabilla reserve and caching of course! Tftc
Located at 3:28pm. #1110
Full log to follow.
Спасибо большое! תודה! TFTC! Much obliged for the placement Jessbarnard!

Went out to Bankstown for a visit to the local SES. Afterwards we spent the afternoon walking around Mirambeena Regional Park, and finding about half of the Landsdowne power trail caches. We will be back some other day to find the remaining ones/
jess_harley I found your cache Landsdowne power trail #17 on 10/4/21, 1:55 pm. This is my find 3105 and find # 19 today. Last one on the power trail. Actually found them all. Took me 4 hours, a couple of caches were not straight forward, took a bit of searching. This one was a quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out wandering through Lansdowne Park with oldmorty.
He was here last year, just before the COVID-19 lock down. He must have been worried as he missed the numbers he needed for the final cache.
So today oldmorty accompanied me (taking note of the numbers) as I made my way round the power trail.
Most of the caches were easy to find although I had 2 DNF’s which might have floated away in the rain we had recently.

I managed to fit in a days caching before the wet weather had us house-bound or doing other less exciting activities. With my pushbike as the preferred mode of travel I targeted a few caches on the bike.
This series of caches was to be my focus for the day, after parking near No: 1 it took me a couple of hours pedalling around this great pocket of bush to nab the series. Well done on a great series of caches.
Thanks to CO's for your caches that I found throughout the day.

Awesome day out finding all these caches with some friends!! All were straight forward! Didn't have fun dealing with all the spider webs but great getting a large number of caches! Thank you for placing these on a wonderful trail!!

Ms Atalanta is my recent companion while geocaching as she sometimes wags work to come with me. That's OK as she has her own business and answers the phone as and when required while caching. Today was a nice spring day following a day of drizzle, and we found ourselves on the Lansdowne power trail. Actually at one time I lived at Upper Lansdowne, some 300km from here. A nice but easy series of caches. Thanks for placing them.
Nice little walk after the geoson10 learning to fly, unsuccessfully though. Made the way down to this one and found it out in the open. Manoeuvred it a little ways back to be more covered. Took golden lion posher and swapped for a little tree house Book, still in the packet. TFTC
Off to get three new souvenirs today. The geobike was swung into action and there is lots of choice in the power trail.
First to get the four missing modern wonders and then seven ancients. All very quiet here today and remembered there is a great bike track through the bush.
Easy finds and good hints made the day enjoyable.
Thanks jessbarnard

Frustrating as gps kept bouncing us around. Found it eventually. TFTC! No log near but look for a V in the trees and don't get your feet wet.
Down here this morning with teamMerlin and JJCC to finish of the series and get as many of the Wonders if the World are available. Relatively quick find
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache jessbarnard

Out with the geofam for the morning to do some caching. Signed G, K, M & P (Gundrills, KnightJR and Pandagirl65). TFTC
Out to grab a few with geofam before the weather turns bad. Nice place for a walk around. Nice quick find. Found a lot of sticky needles stuck on us all by this point. Small price to pay though. TFTC.
Out for a geocaching explore with Kate_h. Aim is to collect the series. Almost done!
Upon approach I saw the gully and realised that GZ was on the other side and I was worried about the creek crossing. Thankfully all good, made it to the other side dry, and cache found in a now familiar style.
We ended up on the wrong side of the ‘creek’ as we decided straight lines were best to go from cache to cache. Something tells me the meandering path is best.
Catching up on logging all my finds since i joined in July. GPS was bouncy, we wondered around for a bit. Finally found it, tftc!
GPS was very bouncy here but after a little wondering around we spotted it! Cute camo! Tftc!
#7114 (3 of 5 today)
Time to head back to this powertrail to finish it off - sorry for the late logging. I was after a few finds today to up my daily count.
I had already found *#1* to *#14* on previous visits, so decided to park near *#15* and make my way around.
I do like to do trails like this in numerical order, barring DNFs, but today I had a choice - of doing that or taking a much shorter option of getting *#19* before *#18*. In the end decided on the shorter option.
Grabbed what clues I found, but obviously to get the final cache I need the clues now found in the first fourteen. Well, *#20* can be a return visit someday.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Could have taken longer, but this time the iPhone pointed true from the start and quickly spotted some suss camo.
Made the grab, signed, replaced and away.

Coordinates and hint both made for a nice find. Spotted a bird bath on the way to this one by someone’s back fence.
With the outdoor travel restrictions lifted I absolutely had to get out again this weekend regardless of the freezing temperature and winds this morning. So I got my bike out of storage and strapped it to my car for some caching adventure. Only for rain to start half way here.
After grabbing a bit to eat, the rain eased and only came down in the occasional light sprinkle so I decided to continue on with my journey.
It was a nice ride around the park here. the caches not too difficult to find and a rewarding final.
Thanks for the caches.
