This was certainly a fun place to be with those beautiful blue sheep. Im glad you brought us to this location. Finding all the pavers and sorting them out took a bit of time, but the cache was found quickly, so we could get on our way. I think the plates are reminiscent of train engine number plates. Fitting for the location.

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Meeting friends nearby, and we arrived early, so a short wander was in order. Arrived amongst the blue sheep and gathered the required information. Assembled the coordinates and checksum agreed. Phew. Plotted GZ and as indicated, it was not too far away, and it was on the way back to the car and friends who were arriving. Quickly spotted the cache, signed the log, and then replaced all as found. Not feeling blue anymore.

First cache in Victor Harbor. Collected the coordinates and cache was a fairly straightforward find while the steam train went past us a couple of times. TFTV!

With the CITO completed, I’m wandering the central area of Victor Harbor and finding some caches. Here’s a multi that’s a bit different from the common ones up in Adelaide. A train went through a short time ago too. A quick find at the calculated GZ, but thanks to my fat forearms I had to approach from a different angle to be able to grasp the cache.

I enjoyed reading the “Harbor” vs “Harbour” battle on the nearby information boards.

Thanks for the multi mogni.

31-Oct-22
Flew into Adelaide today to pick up a car from Victor Harbour and drive it back to Canberra. With some spare time on my hands, I stopped for a few caches as well. This was the next stop and the cache was soon in hand and the log signed. Enjoyed the cache and always good to grab a multi.

Thanks for the cache mogni...cache all good.

Went for a bit of a walk in Victor and solved this multi easily. The blue sheep are very cute! I don’t have any train trivia to share sorry! Did a quick Cito near GZ and then realised I hadn’t brought my pen as I only intended to do the AL! Nature provided and I managed to make my mark on the log sheet, non traditional but it worked thanks for setting up this multi for our enjoyment mogni and helping add another multi to my tally.

#16443 - 1:28:00 PM; Day three of our South Australian R & R and the geohoney and I are going back to Victor Harbour due to problems with the geomobile. At least the weather is the best it has been, so after dropping the geomobile at the doctor, we headed off for breakfast, then on to Granite Island for a wander around the island, collecting most of the resident caches as we went. Collected a few more once we headed back across the causeway, including this one. A nice quick pick up once the calculations were finished and the errors corrected. Thank goodness for the checksums! 12-Sep-22
We had no idea this sweet little park was here, usually driving past too busy watching for trains so it was nice to have a reason to wander up to the park (also didnt realise there was a car park so handy haha).
What a great piece of local history and we also wished we were little kids so we could have hopped on the sheep! First time the dog has been here and being the skitty anxious thing she is, she was very wary of the creatures, well until she realised they didnt move, breath or seem a risk to her.
We did the calculations and headed off to GZ, today the log sheet was nice and dry so we had no problems signing it. Thanks mogni for the cache and showing us a lovely little park. Found the cache, signed the log and replaced safe and sound as found.

28-Aug-22
Finishing off our visit to Victor Harbor today with this simple multi. Took a few minutes to find the correct numbers but after that it was an easy path to cache and making the find. Log a little wet so a bit hard to scribble on it with a pencil but all good in the end. TNLNSL TFTC

We are heading into Adelaide to catch a plane to Perth to visit some sick elderly friends, we have realised that are flight doesn't leave at 7.30am but rather 7.30 in the evening which suddenly gave us 12 hours more caching which we were quite happy to use and we were very happy that we hadn't had the times the other way around.

As we approached wpt1 we definitely saw one sheep, two sheep, blue sheep but as it turns out that wasn't what we were looking for. A couple of the bits of information proved to be a little bit difficult to locate but we are happy to blame that on our old eyes.

Once we had all the right information we headed off to gz and started looking and then spotted something suspicious, it may not have been a small but it was the cache container we were hunting for and we have happily added our name to the log.

Thanks mogni for the cache.

Today FeatherWaite and I decided to make the most of the slightly cooler weather and made our way down to Victor Harbor and back to find a few caches.

We targeted some non-traditional cache types including Unknown, multi, letterbox and wherigo caches, including this one.

The weather was kind to us, with no rain of any consequence and mild temperatures. With schools back now, it also means that there were a few less people about. All in all it was a great day.

Thanks mogni for the cache.

A nice little park brings back memories from the eighties when working in the railways we were called out to drive to this spot as vandals had broken into the turntable and were operating the controls for some joy riding, we isolated the power and made the turntable secure, enjoyed the location

An easy offset multi at the City Of Victor Harbor's Railway Turntable site.
Not sure of the significance of the sheep, but found this on a locaal website.
The sheep are a tribute to the many livestock that were carried on the local railway network.
If you're here at the right time you will be able to see The Steamrange Trains using the turntable. TFTC

Thanks for this cache, calculated, found and log signed. This brought back memories of my childhood. Off the top of my head I know some of the numbers (from my having a friend who was mental about steam trains).
The Rx224 and the 207(both predominantly black), the 621 predominantly olive green with some black) and 520 predominantly dark green) are all still active steam trains and owned by Steamranger. I know these well as my friend had replicas of them as part of his massive train set that took up a whole room. Not sure about the others but would hazard a guess that they are all trains too and probably owned by Steam ranger who also own several Diesel engine trains, like the old red hens that many would remember travelling on as kids. These may also be some of the numbers. Steam ranger would be able to provide a comprehensive amount of info if asked.
Thanks again for a great cache, loved the blue sheep too, would be interested to know their reference to location and theme.

Cheers and Happy Hunting

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled to Victor Harbor for the day to target a few Adventure Labs. We walked around Granite Island, and then did a loop of The Bluff (Rosetta Head) in the afternoon. Finally, we briefly stopped at Port Elliott beach for a swim, and then returned to Adelaide via Crows Nest Road.

This was a good little multi-cache that we enjoyed visiting. The train rotating turntable was cool, and the blue sheep were interesting to see also. We darted around collecting the required numbers (all the while with a muggle family trying to enjoy a picnic lunch nearby), and then made the short walk to GZ, where it was a quick find of the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@mogni](http://coord.info/PR1NT8Z) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Another Wednesday Wander for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle solving group. [^] Our target for the day was to go to Victor Harbor for the Lab caches and any others that we came across. Cool Well that lasted until The Premium came on the radio at 1.00 p.m. as we had lunch. SurprisedSurprisedSurprised LOCKDOWN coming in for at least 6 days. Twisted Time to cut our day short and head home. This may be the last cache log you get for some time. Big Grin

Just completed the Lab pub tour and stopped here to find out what these sheep had been eating. Surprised I could hear a little Lynyrd Skynyrd on the radio. That explains it - they had been easting bluegrass! [:o)] Enough of the Dad jokes. We found this cache too. Smile

Found during a trip to Victor Harbor for the day, finding a mixture of traditionals, multis, puzzles and adventure caches. With so many caches in the southern Fleurieu Peninsula, it's going to take many a visit to make a significant impression on the map. Great multi, with a nearby final location. The 207 was not seen on the tracks today. Thanks for the cache mogni!

Found It!
Some interesting history at WP1. I wandered around and found all the answers before walking over to GZ. Had a good search around but couldn't find the cache. Then the train went past. I texted the CO but no response. The train went past again. I rang the last finder who confirmed I was in the right place and the cache was gone. The train went past again. I left with no find. Then an hour or so later the CO replies that it's been replaced. Thankfully, I wasn't far away so I went back to GZ and found the new cache! The train wasn't seen on the return visit...

Both M & M and the CO, M, arrived at this cache. Mr M had technology issues, and was not helpful. Mrs M had left her backup phone in the car, thank goodness we had another more organised M with us. So Ms M read out the questions and Mrs M zapped around like a crazed and cheerful child, leaping from one spot to another seeking the answers. Laughter occurred, of course, and the cache endpoints were worked out b4 Mr M lifted his head ready to start this multi. Of course, by this stage Mrs M was heading to the endpoint nearby.
Both Aussie M's loved the simplicity of this cache, the unique place we were taken to, the gates, the numbers and lets not forget to mention the sheep. Why are they blue?
Another well earned favourite for this multi.

After a visit to the shops and a coffee we drove to the posted coordinates. As we arrived our daughters video-called from home and like all good fathers do, I left them to talk to their mother while I went and found the required information.

I had time to check and double-check the figures. My wife was in the car chatting away (about me I can only presume) and I had a final location plotted. Just as I was looking for the cache Mrs Woodyrothwell emerged probably to claim the glory of the find. Thankfully I spied it from the road but she had to grab it before video-calling our kids back to tell them she had found another cache. tftc

What do you do when you have a few days in Adelaide and a lot of things needing attention at home? Go caching with a good friend of course.

Fun was had looking for the needed pavers with the blue sheep looking on. After several attempts we came to the correct checksums after which the cache was soon in hand. No sheep were harmed in the finding of this cache.

Thanks for the cache mogni.

With Sushilord home on a flying visit, a caching day out for old time's sake was in order. Fun, good views and quality chatter was the main order of the day, but a respectable number of caches were still managed. They always try to do a variety of types, so a multi was the perfect excuse to stop for just one more. There was some debate about the correct numbers (thanks for the checksum), but they ended up eventually following the instructions to a quick find.

A trip down to Victor Harbor was organised for today with Michells&hound, primarily to get the new Adventure Lab caches down there and then working on a list of other caches that we both had not found. [^]
It was a lovely sunny day and we had a very enjoyable time driving around the area and stopping at Port Elliott Bakery for lunch. We found all the caches we looked for and turned a couple of DNF's into smilies which is always good. Big Grin

Enjoyed this multi in a park I had not visited previously. We did miscount at first and had to re check. Thank goodness for the check sum. Red Face Found the cache very soon after working out the numbers. Big Grin

Today I headed to Victor Harbour with JJ52 with the primary goal of doing the new lab cache there. Of course it was a bit far to go just for the labs so caches were added in. We found all the caches we looked for but a few on our list we did not attempt.
Rex also came along for the trip and he was such a good boy and he had a brilliant day out. He is knackered now.
We enjoyed an excellent bakery lunch in Port Elliot and were amazed with the number of people still queuing for pies at 2pm!
Blessed with fantastic weather it was a wonderful day for caching.
