Logs
Reception & GPS non-existent here in afternoons on Geocache app. Used Cachly for Cache location, but unable to log until next day.As sunlight fades and night descends Do I try for just one more? What the heck! Why not?Encouraged by finding #11 in the series without too much difficulty, and my leg muscles telling me Nothing we want more than ANOTHER uphill stretch!, I toil on, and for once, actually made the right decision. A relatively trouble-free find meant getting back to the car just as darkness descended (before the monsters come out .. Bill Cosby)Thanks Darkside Dan.Hopefully Ill be back sometime for some others in this series.
Found on a loop around Bruce Ridge with new recruits gdsplash and sepron.TNLN, TFTC.
While visiting a recovering patient in Calvary, there was a chance to cache while waiting for a physio. Out in the fresh air found a few caches, this being one of them. Tftc
2nd of 14 found today. This one took much longer to find than the previous one. I think my GPSr needs a re-calibration as a lot of these I found 7m from GZ - the issue lies with my unit not the hides as the 7ms was consistent regardless of hider.Again logbook was damp but not too bad.TFTC DARKSIDEDAN and the warrior.
A beautiful walk around Oconnor and Bruce Ridge this morning, we stopped here to search for a troll. It was a quick find, and we have added our name to the log. Thanks Darksidedan for another in this series Domsky
Thank you Darksidedan for your cache in the Bruce Ridge Nature Park - we had a pleasant walk around the tracks today. We found the cache easily, however the container had water inside and the log was wet too.
Caching around Canberra for a couple of days. TFTC.
A great bike in this urban bushland. Nice.

Out on the ridge for a few caches and a walk... well, a hobble really but while the legs holding up will continue on and enjoy being out here.
Container was quite wet inside and needed water tipped out, log though was dry in its bag and signed well regardless.
TFTC!

Nice easy find. Cache is in reasonably good condition, signed and returned where found. TFTC
A find on a Canberra Bushwalking Club trip through the three Nature Reserves in the area. TFTC DSD
Found on a big day of walkin'! Wandered around some of the bike tracks and then did some bush bashing to reach GZ - a quick find! I think I made it harder in the approach I took because it was certainly easy walking from here back to the car! TNLNSL. TFTC DSD!
Working our way through a couple more Mythological Monsters in between the Bruce Ridge series. Luckily for us there were no trolls (muggles) to stop us extracting this hide from its trolly lair. Thanks for the lovely hides DARKSIDEDAN
#1875 Picking up a few caches in the Ridge this afternoon. A nice quick find at GZ. Cheers.
What a fun theme for a GC series. Found cache out in the open but I damaged. Put it into a hidey hole I’m sure it was in before.
Quick and easy find

Today's exercise was with the family on bikes with geodog. It's the first time they have been in this area and they are keen to return. The container was quickly found. TFTC.
The warmest day we've had for awhile. I didn't want to waste it, so decided to find all the caches in this area I haven't found. Cache and log are good. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN.
On leave, so thought we'd spend the morning on Bruce Ridge, looking for caches! We took The Woofer, and found 19 of 19 caches. We left mochie squishies in all containers that would fit them.
A nice easy find. TFTC!

#11759 - 3:31:00 PM; I've had a caching run around Bruce Ridge on the drawing board for quite some time and the opportunity to undertake the mission arose this afternoon. A cool but sunny afternoon provided ideal conditions as I made my way around various trails and tracks to collect nine caches from nine attempts before heading back to the geomobile and heading for home. All were found without any issues and in good condition adding my name to the logs as I went. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN
Out and about for a walk around Bruce Ridge to collect a few caches and take the dog for a walk
Another quick easy one.

#4 of Search 4 joined me for a hike around this ridge last weekend. Today we returned with bikes to do a little monster hunting. TFTH
With a chance to go out for an extended walk today, I thought I would look for some caches on Bruce Ridge. This is the first to be found. Thanks for the cache.
Out on a maintenance run over the other side of the GDE and then walked down through the tunnel and up for a couple of caches on this side. Bit of cloud cover and a neat breeze made for a pleasant walk around the area before heading back over the other side and home.
No problems with any of the caches and all are still in good condition. Thanks for the cache.

Second day of caching in Canberra this weekend. Weather looks a lot better then yesterday. With that said the bike came out if the car so I didn't drag it along the whole way for nothing. Lots of caches found again, thanks to all for hiding. Also made good progress towards a few goals.

The GeoHound and I took advantage of a nice cool day to do an 8.5 km walking loop to collect all the Bruce Rage traditional caches. I haven't been here before - the MTB tracks look fantastic (and were well used today), I'll have to bring the GeoKids and their bikes here.
This cache was found without issue at GZ.
Thanks, Dan. This is a nice series.

Found with Trodectus.
Lovely walk.
As Trodectus said, where is the Troll Bridge?
We came prepared with gold coins to pay the Troll the Toll for the bridge, but couldn't find the troll bridge, let alone the Troll?
Anyway, we found the 'Troll Cache', and so we were quite satisfied! [^] [^] [^]
Thanks For The Cache DARKSIDEDAN

Found with [@Decrypter](http://coord.info/PR75QXD). We were out for a walk for exercise and to get a cache. Once at GZ we quickly spotted the hide (the title says 'TROLL' - there wasn't a bridge in sight!). Log stamped and signed and we headed back. All up we walked 2.5km. TFTC.
Hit Bruce Ridge with fitzy_1965 this afternoon as he was on a bit of a mission.
All caches found quickly unless otherwise mentioned.

21,141. Found with minniek on an afternoon run around Bruce Ridge.
I needed a few caches today for a calendar challenge, so we hit the slopes (?) of Bruce Ridge to grab most of the caches up here. Wandered around the bike tracks and the Fire Trails for most of the way. Quick find at GZ.
TFTC DSD !! Dropped a few TBs.

This afternoon I had a couple of spare hours, the question a much needed haircut or some DSD caches. The caches won out. TFTC.

Quick and easy find with a view over a water tank. There was a bit of bush bashing to get here. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN.
**My Walk**
After a lazy day having only washed my car and folded the washing I decided to walk to the 'Indigenous Land Art' puzzle for some exercise. Close to GZ I came to a screaming halt as Police pulled over a driver right before the artwork. I didn’t feel it was appropriate to standby and make calculations in this situation. So instead I headed across to the bush and picked up DSD caches instead.
On the way home, I went back to the art collected the data to complete and find the cache in the daylight another day.
As it was late afternoon it was a very brisk walk, on and off bush track, over 1.25 hours for a distance of 4.4kms and just 127m ascent/descent finishing up on dusk.

I headed out for an afternoon walk to get a few caches towards my caches per day goal. Plenty of people riding the tracks, but I made it to the four caches I was looking for and found each one.
Thanks for the cache DARKSIDEDAN

Collecting a few more Mythological Monsters in a wander round the ridge. All found and in good condition. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN
Tell tale sign spotted on approach. This part of your series is very enjoyable. Hope to check out the further flung parts soon. Tftc. Tftc
Was keen to get out in the bush for an afternoon stroll- Bruce Ridge & Black Mountain seemed like a good option with a few new caches to pick up
Was out on a day caching with dty73, and this was one of the caches on the list! Have been around here a number of times, but the weather was perfect and it was a nice walk. Thanks for the company dty73 and TFTC DSD.
Tankengine and I decided a spot of caching was in order. We didn't have some new ones in the area so we thought we could pick them up.
We parked near by then walked in and picked up the few caches we needed. They were all in good condition and being so new - plenty of room in the logs. I have always enjoyed this area and so it was a nice walk with good company. Tftc DARKSIDEDAN!!!

Dodged the ACTEW (I still call them that) contractors and wandered along to GZ. A quick find, sign and replace before wandering back. TNLNSL TFTC

Back again for another daily find. Thanks for the chance to get out and visit this area again (not that I needed and excuse). TFTC
Signed the logbook, but, oddly, I didn't see any other names in it.
Perhaps I had it upsidedown... Ta.

It was very quite on the hunter front this afternoon, two hours had passed and non of the caches up north had been found, so when the family outing was finished and I had delivered them back home I went out again to find a few new caches.
This time I took a different approach to get to this new cache on Bruce Ridge. Once at GZ it was a quick find, this is a good one to do on the bike give the nearby trails.
Thank you DARKSIDEDAN for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

**This Cache:**
A few new Monsters in Bruce Ridge, and this time a very recognisable one, ahh yes the troll of course! A fairly easy walk through here and filling up with caches very fast [:o]
Thanks DSD for adding to the mix
---
**Placement:**
I was present in the placement of this cache during a multi-month expedition of planned out hides with DARKSIDEDAN. Many caches were hidden over the course of several months, and the listings were slowly brainstormed and created during a time when no caches were being published. I have logged this find on the date I was at the GZ location. Many of these date's I also found older caches hidden by other CO's which have been previously logged.
I hope everyone also enjoy's some of the challenging caches and unique locations that were picked out, as well as those that are more accessible, it was great to hide a multitude of types to accomodate to the way's people enjoy to cache!
Thanks DSD for allowing me to assist! And well done on the huge effort you go to in hiding caches and keeping our community active!
